Today was my first time using GreenLeaf, and I'm glad I chose it. First, they accept appointments, so you don't have to wait. I called yesterday to get an appointment and was offered one yesterday, but decided to make it today. If you are nervous like me about going to the doctor, you don't have to worry at all. I showed up and filled out a bunch of papers. They were just like any doctor office papers, name, address, past medical conditions, surgeries, allergies, meds you are taking, questions about alcohol and cigarette use, etc. With an appointment, there was very little waiting. A family member accompanied me and when she saw how painless it was, she saw the doctor without an appointment. The time the two of us were there was about 30 minutes. I saw Dr. Lichenstein and he was easy to talk to, listened carefully, gave me a recommendation, and also suggested other things I could try, like the a helpful vitamin, sunshine for Vitamin D, and stretching and exercise. He went over the different properties of various strains, the best way to take them and gave me some take home information. I felt like he wasn't there to just crank out recommendations, but was genuinely there to help me find ways to make my condition better, including what to avoid. read more

I found Greenleaf and Dr. Teller through a Google, Yelp & Weedmaps search for a new doctor. I saw the office had a few good reviews and those emphasized a caring environment. Making an appointment was simple and I arrived a bit early to complete 10 minutes of paperwork. The receptionist was very sincere. Since my appointment was at noon on a Tuesday, I was seen immediately. Dr. Teller was very thorough in explaining the benefits and side effects of the medication. I felt well informed and cared for. For $65 I received two copies of my recommendation and a card for my wallet. I am a medical marijuana patient who suffers from chronic stomach pain. I have seen the abuse of Proposition 215 and I want to emphasize that Dr. Teller is NOT cannabis huckster. He took the time to discuss my case and gave me some great advice on continuing my search for the cause of my pain. Amazing experience at Greenleaf! I just got medically retired and disabled from the U.S. Army and moved back to my hometown of San Diego, CA with my wife of whom is from as well. 6 years of service I suffered from PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Feet surgery, knees, ankles, basically feeling like 50 in a 23 year old body. Greenleaf saw me immediately via appointment after I changed my license over from TN to CA. Very professional, clean, and relaxed environment. The doctor was very informative and taught me a lot about medical marijuana, THC, CBD, and the synergy they create together to help patients ailments. He also went over the benefits and side effects between smoke inhaling, vaporizing, tincture, edibles, etc. I felt very informed and relaxed after my visit with him. He seemed very intelligent and knowledgeable on medical marijuana health benefits and application. $70 and about an about 30 minutes later I had my recommendation and was out the door headed to a dispensary to purchase some medicine. Fast, easy, enjoyable, and most importantly relaxing experience over all. Would definitely recommend. My only complaints to anyone interested is that the building is located in is pretty small and there is not a whole lot of parking available. You will most likely have to park on the side of the street like I did, but not too much of a problem. Lastly the restroom inside did not have the ability to lock so be careful if you have to use it. Dr. Teller and his office staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The entire process was very easy to navigate considering I was in for a renewal and had my medical records in order. I urge all prospective patients to do the same as a courtesy to the clinic and to yourself. Dr. Teller spent a good amount of time with me discussing my previous year's use of medicinal marijuana. This clinic is the epitome of compassionate care. My mother is a breast cancer survivor with severe chronic pain due to complications from chemotherapy and radiation and I am her medical proxy and advocate. The Greanleaf Care Clinic was able to immediately fit my mother into their schedule. This was a very different experience considering my mom has been under the care of pain management specialists for the last 7 years. Dr. Teller and his staff were the embodiment of excellent patient care. When we arrived at his office, his receptionist was friendly and ready to help us fill out all of the requisite forms. Dr. Teller spent an hour with us answering all of our questions and had a very positive attitude regarding the course of treatment for my mother. This was our first experience in this type of a clinic. Megan, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting us to get our paperwork completed and to refer us for filling prescriptions. We saw Dr. Edes, who is a highly experienced doctor who is very professional and empathetic. He made us feel completely at ease in our interview. Though we never thought we would be using medical marijuana, with our current medical conditions, we will be able to get relief without the hallucinogenic effects. Since our serious car accident, we need something for spinal stenosis pain, concussion, anxiety, and fatigue that continue to plague us two years later! Went to Green Leaf because I've been suffering from some pretty serious health problems for awhile now. I was also in a bad car accident that's left me with significant chronic pain. I hesitated on getting my card because I was worried about confidentiality and stigma. But now I just wish I would have done it sooner. Medical marijuana helps with so many ailments that I used to have to take pills for. Now I get instant relief without side effects of pharmaceuticals. And I only need to medicate a few times a week instead of popping pills every day. Dr. Flynn was helpful and considerate and the receptionist (so sorry I can't remember her name) was soooooo sweet and funny. I actually had a migraine the day I went in and when I let her know that, she turned the lights down for me without me even asking. Dr. Flynn did the same thing when I went into his office.
