On Christmas Eve day 2024, my wife and I discovered that there was a leak in our kitchen ceiling…read more This happened after a period of heavy rains. We were a little concerned about the leak so we reached out to our home insurance provider for help. After making a request for service we were paired with Paradigm Roofing. Ryan Bridges our point of contact reached out to us and was very prompt about setting a schedule to come out to see the leak. Ryan came out to our home on Christmas morning to do his assessment. He was quite friendly and explicitly clear about what he intended to do. I also particularly liked that he was genuinely conversational. During his visit Ryan did a thorough assessment of the damage both internally and externally. Earlier in 2024 we had experienced very heavy hail and we had damages that we were unaware of. Ryan's assessment provided details of all these damages including the primary reason we had requested service. At the end of his visit Ryan took the time to explain to us exactly what he had observed. He talked us through the next steps in the process and talked about what he intended to put in his report to our insurance provider. In the days that followed Ryan was very diligent about keeping us informed about his report and his communication with the insurance company. We really appreciated his soft touch since we were both very concerned about the cost of the repairs. After Ryan got word from the insurance pending their review of his report, he set up an in person meeting so he could walk us through everything. Ryan's preferred approach is to speak in person and he would drive almost 40 miles from his office to our home to come speak with us. This happened on several occasions. Ryan always provided detailed documentation and walked us through the figures for the scope of work, the different approaches and expected results. This level of detail made my wife and I feel very secure and sure about the decisions we were about to make. Before starting work on the roof we needed approvals from our HOA and needed to submit several documents specific to the scope of work. Ryan as always was keen and prompt in preparing those documents and getting them to us in a timely manner to file our application. Like the insurance report, we were approved immediately without any issues questions or concerns by our HOA. Ryan and his team were true to their word and schedule every step of the way. On the day of the repairs they promised to be at the house at the break of dawn and true to word they were. The team explained everything that was going to happen. They discussed safety and how they planned to approach everything and kept us informed every step of the way. They were also always available if we had questions. As promised the completed the full replacement of our roof along with all clean up on the same day. The entire service provided by Paradigm Roofing was truly exemplary! This was the best service I'd experience of this nature as a home owner ever! About 4 months after the contract was signed, the roof work began. The sub-contractors fell through my ceiling, made a mess of and damaged my attic while replacing the roof. Aaron promised to have it cleaned up and new insulation blown in, but now, over a year later, it's still not done. The roofers also damaged the leaf screens over my rain gutters, and again, an empty promise to fix them. After the roof was on, months went by without hearing from Aaron. I tried to contact him multiple times, giving him more than five to ten opportunities to reply back to me, but nothing... absolutely nothing. Then all of a sudden, about 10 months after the roof was on, he contacted me and wanted the rest of the insurance money, while also sitting down with me to talk about what he was going to do for me to make up for his lack of contact during the previous months. I told him I'd let him know when a check would be available for him. He hounded and hounded me for it, but I kept it until I was ready to give it to him. I wrote a check for the remainder of the roof, and he tried to cash it on the same day from my bank (Saturday), and due to the large amount of the check, the bank didn't want to cash it. Aaron asked me to write him two separate checks so the amounts wouldn't be as high and easier to cash....I had left for the day, and couldn't accommodate that request, and shouldn't have had to. The bank, and Aaron bugged me during that day about the funds being available, until the bank finally cashed it. Since I wrote the final check, over a month has passed, and although I've tried to reach him again, he has gone silent again. I really can't say if the company did good work or not, because I'm not a roofer, but I know they didn't finish the remainder of the contracted work, for which they will not get paid. You are risking additional damage to your home, with a bad business ethic and unfinished promises if you hire IAS Roofing and Construction. I am very unhappy with the way I was treated, while being very patient and giving them multiple chances to complete the work and make good on promises given.

The company claims to guarantee labor for 10 years; however, we have been struggling to get the company to come back and fix the roof. They repeatedly lie about their intention to come and then don't show up and don't even bother to call to let us know they are not coming. Update: Top Roofing Solutions indicated that our problem was so severe that we would need to redo the entire roof and would be better off with another company. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they ruled in my favor (feel free to look it up.) Also, I obviously still had the leaky roof so I tried a couple of other roofing companies in Irving and they both gave the same diagnosis. We paid one of the companies less than half of what Top Roofing originally charged us and, after a few intense Texas thunder storms, I can confidently say that the other company was able to solve the problem--no more leaks! Unfortunately, Top Roofing has been an exemplary case of incompetence and dishonesty.
