Edward's crew installed an EV charger in my garage back in January. Initially it seemed to work okay, but after about a month, the breaker that was installed for the EV power circuit began randomly tripping if the charger was configured to pull greater than 20A. The breaker was rated for 40A. Last week our EV charger stopped working completely. I called another electrician who came out and found that the breaker that Greenline installed was faulty and looked much older than a few months, and suspected that they installed a faulty breaker they had lying around instead of a brand new one. The rest of the job seems to have been performed adequately, but I'm irritated that I had to pay for another electrician's service call because Greenline seems to have cut corners on a critical component. read more

So I reached out to this company through Yelp about a month ago. At first they seemed quick to respond and willing to help but I still do not have a response for the work I wanted done. A gentleman contacted me and asked a few questions and then gave me a time and date to come look at the house for estimates. He was late to the appoint by nearly an hour due to a car appointment running over longer than expected. He gave me some solid advice saying to look into my internet provide to get the work installed (I did, but tried again with no luck). I did appreciate the recommendation. I thought it was sweet. After researching my internet provider again. I texted that same gentleman about getting work done. No response. I texted him again about 2 days later only to be given a number of someone else because he was out of town. I called the number and left a voicemail only to be never contacted. We had issues with an outdoor outlet nuisance tripping during heavy rain, even after having a new cover installed. Unfortunately this outlet shared a circuit with our bedroom and office outlets, so the tripping caused heavy disruption. It was particularly bad very early one morning after a stormy night, which left me scrambling at 7:15am trying to find an electrician. Greenline answered immediately and was able to come out later that afternoon. After some troubleshooting and exploratory work, the recommendation was to put the GCFI outlet on a dedicated circuit to prevent further disruption. They came back the next day and did so quickly and efficiently, and even replaced the cover with a more durable one. They also thoughtfully replaced our old and worn bedroom light switches and a scarred outlet for free - I really appreciated their thoughtfulness here. They did all this for a very reasonable price and were easy to work with and communicative every step of the way. I highly recommend them if you need any electrical work done! read more

Over the weekend a pretty rough storm came through and worked a number on my front porch light causing a short to occur and loss of electric through the entire upstairs of my home. After ruling out a blown fuse, immediately, I was concerned about the safety of my home and what costs might be associated with this type of repair. But unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I knew it might be difficult to have someone come out right away without it costing me an arm and a leg.
