Mike came in to install the outlet and he had all the material ready to install immediately. He not only install the outlet but also fixed a loosened wire nearby to make the area safer. He is nice to work with and efficient, speedy but not rushing the work. The rate is reasonable, charged by the time spend instead of a flat rate. We hired North Shore Electric to design and install a gutter and downspout de-icing system. Despite…read morethe system being powered on, the downspouts freeze solid, water backs up, and ice pools at the base--creating a serious safety hazard. We raised this issue last winter and again this year, and each time our concerns were dismissed, with blame placed on us despite the system being turned on well in advance of freezing conditions. We are now being told that their 10-year "warranty" only covers the cable itself, not evaluating whether the system is functioning properly or was correctly designed. In other words, if the system fails to do its basic job, we still have to pay them just to tell us why. What is the point of a warranty if the company refuses to stand behind system performance or take responsibility for obvious design failures? Between the unsafe conditions, refusal to investigate without charging high fees, and repeated deflection, this experience has been extremely disappointing. We would not recommend this company. It's clear that once they receive their nearly $5,000 payment, customer support ends.
