A word of caution to anyone considering using the Masiello Realty Group. I hired them to represent…read moreme in the sale of a property in Cathance Township Maine. They were extremely friendly and seemed professional. I talked to my agent openly about what I needed to get out of my property and we had numerous conversations about what costs would come out at closing. Several of these conversations were during the time of negotiations with a potential buyer. I even requested a copy of the closing documents ahead of time so that I could review them and be prepared. They were sent to me. All seemed fine and exactly how my agent and I had discussed. At closing the documents presented to me to sign were NOT the same as the ones they sent me to preview! There was an additional 2%charge to me that was never discussed or even mentioned. Needless to say I was not happy! The charge was listed as a possibility in the contract between me and the realty company but was never mentioned anytime during our conversations, nor was it listed on closing documents that were sent to me before closing, it only showed up during our scheduled closing meeting. It was a 2% charge on top of their 8% commission so for me that was a significant amount which caused me to fall short of what I needed to get out of the property. So I caution anyone considering using them. If you think they are working for you, they are NOT! My experience with this realtor ended on a very sour note, Underhanded and Unprofessional! I would never recommend them to anyone.

We had the good fortune to have the phone answered by Linda Hitchcock. No, we weren't in town, or…read moreeven in the area. As a matter of fact, we were not even in New Hampshire but inquiring about a listed property from 2700 miles away. Some people could just take our call with a grain of salt or ignore it as "sure, out west" but not Linda. From the first moment we spoke to her she gave us professional courtesy, answered our questions, and offered her research. We really liked this particular house and flew out to New England the next day to take a look. Once again, Linda was professional and prompt, arranging the showing and working with us as a trusted advisor when we wrote the offer the same afternoon. By 6pm she called us and said the sellers had accepted - an absolute successful conclusion thanks to her guidance and knowledge of the local market. After we flew back she continued to shepherd the process on our behalf, was present for inspections, coordinated with title, provided timely email communications, and took us to the finish line. Sure some agents can help you buy a house, but Linda Hitchcock went the extra mile and made it happen like a seasoned real estate athlete. We highly recommend her services and are extremely satisfied with our experience with her, especially as out of state buyers who needed someone local as our proxy. This is the kind of experience where people like her prove their value to both customers and the company she works for. Five stars!

Nancy Proctor of the Masiello Group: The best there is ... None better!…read more We spent many months deciding that we wanted to live in Keene, New Hampshire, as well as reviewing online the many homes that were available in that area. From past business and personal dealings, we knew that a key person in helping us acquire the home of our dreams was a broker well acquainted with the area in which we wanted to live. After researching the online reviews of many New Hampshire brokers, and interviewing some, Nancy Proctor seemed the best and most able broker to guide us in the acquisition of our new home. Working with Nancy, it became very evident that she is an extraordinarily knowledgeable and skilled broker, who not only conducted and coordinated all aspects of the purchase of our future home with great facility, but was available to address our questions and concerns at all hours of the day and night. She listened very carefully to our needs, hopes, expectations, and wishes, and patiently took us to view homes that we thought were suitable, as well as some she thought were ideal for us (even though we hadn't considered them). In all respects, she was a most warm and caring, personable, informative, efficient, and effective advocate for our interests in buying a home in the Keene area. Once she brought us to the home that she and we agreed met all our requirements, she worked very hard to achieve the purchase of the home for us and was an excellent intermediary with the sellers, helping to assure that all issues and concerns were successfully addressed. As a result of her efforts, we were able to acquire our home within one month of starting our search with Nancy, closing within three months thereafter. She did an amazing job of orchestrating the closing as well, making it a very quick and straightforward process.

Since neither the mister nor myself had ever gone through this process of finding, negotiating, and closing on a house, we had a lot of questions and concerns but Bob was very good and prompt about answering what he could and finding out the answers if he couldn't. We ended up in a very nice house in a very nice school district for the hamkey, and at a good price thanks to his patience in dealing with the selling party. We also met Nancy Proctor, the manager/fellow realtor, and really respected her professionalism. I hope to never never never move again, but if we had to, I would trust Masiello Group to handle the listing with no hesitation.

All winter long we had a tenant that completely smoked inside the building and it continued until we decided to leave because it was not being resolved. Their were other tenants that had kids and pets within the building but they landlord stated, "these people are old and have health issues that they can't go outside to smoke, we are doing our best to keep it contained inside." They were more accommodating to that one tenant than the rest of us who did not want the cigarette smoke coming into our home.

We moved here while waiting to relocate to Florida. The policies change daily and no one in the office is on the same page. We gave many months notice that we were moving out (3 weeks before our lease was up) and we were told that we would have to find someone to take over our lease if we didn't want to pay the remainder of the rent. We were told they would help, but they didn't. Many people who came to look at the place from our own personal advertising, said the office never mentioned our apartment when they called to see if anything was open. True money hungry people. The property manager changes her mind own can have pets and who can't in the building, speaks to people as though she is better than them and is overall a terrible person to work with. My husband and I are both highly educated and don't need to live at these apartments, we own a home, we don't need to be treated like we are below anyone in the Princeton Mill office. We are thankful we are out of there. We are now living in a luxury apartment building that is hundreds of dollars less than Princeton, with upgrades and amenities. Princeton is so out of date, no dishwasher, bathroom disgusting and the entire apartment dark. Live anywhere but here, unless you want to be treated like dirt. N.P is the worst property manager and needs to take lessons in dealing with people. I would give staff professionalism a negative star if I could.
