In January, when I was informed that my home owners insurance would be discontinued, I reached out to T.D. McNeil for assistance (as they were my broker for the discontinued insurance). I was met with an unexpected response; I was turned away and denied the opportunity to receive quotes as per my request in January. This experience was not in line with the high standard of customer service that I expect from any service company. As a result, I no longer wish to do business with them. I sought insurance services elsewhere. I did not want to wait for the 30-day mark that was explained to me by them, especially considering the difficulty of obtaining homeowners insurance in California. Such experiences can significantly impact a company's reputation and customer retention. I hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration and will contribute to future improvements in your customer service. For me, it's too late, I've moved on. They are on top of things like no other company I have done business with. Currently, collectively, my family is insuring 6 cars with Aumen, 1 house, and 3 renter's policies. Unfortunately my daughter had a fire at her apartment a few years back that was a total loss, and someone was there immediately to write her a check for a place to sleep. They then followed up, stayed on top of things, and she was able to start over. My husband was rear ended and the driver tried to claim that he was at fault?? I know, crazy. Dan was on it. He assisted my husband to get the whole mess taken care of and stayed on top of things until it was resolved. I am, like most people, very busy. I am confident that when I call Dan's office and drop business in his lap, it is taken care of, and I have one less thing to take care of. I also have a business that deals with International Relocations. I send ALL of my clients to Dan knowing that they will be cared for as well as if I were taking care of things myself.
