Dr Greg is the best chiropractor in Los Angeles. I have been going to him for 20yrs and has always helped me with my back and sciatica issues. Most recently I had a bone spur in my left heel and a friend said to go to my chiro and he will fix it. I could not believe he could help with that. I was unable to walk, I was on my tip toe walking with a cane. Three sessions later I was fully walking as if it never happened. I was weeks away from having foot surgery. I've been seeing Dr. Greg for twenty plus something years & I gotta say he's one of the best Chiro's in town. I haven't been adjusted in a while especially in quarantine & my body told me enough is enough! So I got adjusted today & as always Dr. Greg worked his magic. He takes his time and most importantly listens to your issues. His staff is always easy and nice to interact with. I came home to do some stretches and I was amazed at how straight my spine was, how even my hips were and they didn't pop every time I moved it around sitting on my yoga mat. That's it, I can't take it anymore. I used to be a patient of Dr. Greg and Dr. Dean, and was mostly satisfied, but after a recent car accident where I was rear-ended, I've decided to end my relationship with the office. I came for the first appointment after the accident under stress, confused by how to properly use car/health insurance to cover this care, and in pain. I arrived early to make sure the insurance was cleared, and the office simply added to the confusion regarding how to use the auto insurance. "We don't bill third party," they said over and over. Then, they called up someone in billing to tell me over the phone, "We don't take third party insurance." Not really knowing what this means, and desperate for treatment, under a heavier stress load and even more confused than before, I told them to bill my health insurance so I could receive treatment. Immediately after the appointment, driving home, I felt good. A solid 20 minutes without pain or stiffness, I was overjoyed. Once I arrived back home, I knew I was in trouble with some serious pain and issues with mobility. I must not have realized how much pain I was in the week following the accident, but rest assured I was instantly reminded after this appointment. I chalked it up to the extra stress added by the office and the amount of adjustments I received to my back, neck and shoulders. So you must know that two days later, heading to my second appointment, I was very excited to possibly feel some relief. Once again, I arrived early just in case they needed more information from me. Since they did not, I took a walk to shop for the 20 minutes before my appointment. When I came back exactly on time, apparently there were issues again with insurance. Rattling off something about me "double dipping" against two insurance companies and being "red flagged," my stress level rose. Do they really need to make it so mentally painful to come here when I'm already in such excruciating physical pain? All I want is for one of these insurance companies to cover the cost of my visit. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE COMPLICATED. I really (REALLY) did not want to talk to the billing woman over the phone like the last appointment because this woman makes everything so convoluted, but they insisted. Once again, I'm told I'll be red flagged and I need to notify my health insurance company because they need to know I was in an accident. Guess what? THEY ARE NOTIFIED. I received primary care treatment and exam the same day as the accident, why is The Health Spot and its office making everything so much harder than it needs to be? Convinced that I'm getting nowhere with now TWO people standing in the way of my care, in even more stress than when I walked in the door, and now very aware of how much pain I'm in and the further pain being impressed upon me, I decided to exit the building and find a new chiropractor. It is not worth harming my health further by coming here. I had at least a half dozen treatments remaining and was going to start coming for massage treatments as well, to help with the pain. But instead, by causing me this needless pain, I'm going to have to find another doctor. read more

Dr. Greg helped me as much as he could with my severe spondylitis and DDD of my L4 and L5. I was getting treatment once to twice a week and sometimes more depending on my pain levels. I ended up having to undergo surgery a month ago as there were no other options. Dr. Greg offered me house calls if needed knowing I wouldn't be mobile for sometime. That is a true kind spirit. I hesitate to call Dr Greg a chiropractor in the standard sense, he is much more sports oriented and more physical therapy based, in my opinion. He really knows how to deal with athlete's bodies, which is excellent. He will not hesitate to offer stretches and exercises to solve your problems rather than set you up with an elaborate "treatment" plans. I really respect his opinion as an athletic and fit doctor as well. It is evident in his care that he understands sports injuries and how they can affect active people. I had injured my neck doing yoga, and decided it was time to try seeing a specialist after I couldn't move it for two days.
