I truly cannot thank Burres Law Firm enough for everything they did for me during my personal…read moreinjury case. From the very beginning, I felt supported, heard, and taken seriously. What could have been an overwhelming and stressful experience was made so much easier because of their professionalism, communication, and genuine care. Brian, leads an exceptional team. His leadership and experience were clear throughout my case. I always felt confident knowing he was behind the scenes guiding everything and making sure my case was handled strategically and thoroughly. He fought hard for me and made decisions with my best interest in mind. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and the outcome of their cases. Tetiana was the one who kept me informed every step of the way. She consistently updated me on what was happening, explained things clearly, and made sure I never felt left in the dark. Anytime I had a question or needed clarification, she was responsive, patient, and reassuring. Her communication made a huge difference during a time when uncertainty can be very stressful. Kristen was always there to help me whenever I needed assistance. No matter how small the question or concern, she treated me with kindness and respect. She made sure paperwork, appointments, and details were handled smoothly. Her support made the entire process feel organized and manageable. What stands out most about this firm is how they work together as a team. They are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to their clients. They took the time to understand my situation and made me feel valued throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a law firm that communicates clearly, works hard, and genuinely cares about their clients, I highly recommend Burres Law Firm. I am incredibly grateful for Brian, Tetiana, and Kristen and everything they did for me.

I have never been through this degree of an accident before and the team exceeded my expectations and took care of everything. So thankful for Kyle Dryer who was able to fight for me and get a way better outcome than the initial offer. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone to use them if you've been in an accident, or like my case that had multiple cars and 18 wheelers. Hopefully I will never have to be in an accident ever again but if I do I know who to choose every time, Burress Law.

I was referred to this law firm last year by a counselor for a potential lawsuit against my former…read moreemployer. My first meeting I met with Teresa Bode and Nii Amaa Ollenuu. It went well. They were nice and easy to talk to. They decided to take my case and then pulled back by saying they had too many cases at the time. Which was fine. I really loved the initial contact with them so I came back in January and spoke with Teresa again who said she was pleased that I called back because another lady had similar experiences to mines with the same employer and would review my case and let me know. I received the run around for two months. I've called and got BS'd around why she couldn't talk or reasons why she was not in. I got told several times she left for the day early and I remained PATIENT AND POLITE. Today I called and, having a better relationship with the receptionist instead of the actual lawyer, I started talking to her about my experience. She tells me Theresa has notes that there are things I should be doing... that's basically her work ! I asked what they were because I have spoken to no one. I tell the receptionist that's what you're charging 34% for. All of a sudden the Teresa, who left for the day early, was available and I hear her in the background saying that the receptionist could transfer me. I get transferred and Teresa tries to tell me that I'm stressed. I informed her that I'm DEFINITELY NOT but I am frustrated because I respected her and her time and that was not done for me. I called several times and never got answers. Teresa. She NOW tells me (how convenient) that they have too much of a workload and that my case is denied. It was funny hearing this now that she's pissed because I'm telling her that it's ridiculous how long have waited. However, although I am extremely frustrated I never disrespected her. I remained true to myself and am proud of that. It's disheartening the way I was treated in this situation but life goes on. Without clients you guys would have no cases. So TREAT EVERYONE with respect because we give you jobs. I'm unsure if I can go to the BBB but I definitely will try because if there are deadlines for me to file my claim and I miss it... I just spent 2 months waiting on a phone call.

I finally had to file with the Bar. I have never wrote a review or took any type of action against someone's livelihood but this man is absolutely the most unethical, lazy, unprofessional, not knowledgeable, attorney I have ever came across. Attorney fees constantly change, very little effort or communication, in fact just plan on doing the work yourself. I could go on and on. He has lied to me about the work he was doing on my case to find out nothing was done. He then dodged my emails and repeated and repeated request for my own signed documents to be emailed to me were ignored. He's has his own personal court issues going on also. Which should definitely be a red flag. I will from this point always read reviews on anyone that I am going to spend a significant amount of money on. After talking to many people in the court system I have also learned his reputation and credibility is also shot. He's just terrible. I was so disappointed how he handled everything. Also expect 2 am text messages (very professional right?). Huge fail on our part for hiring him. He quit in the middle of our case left us high and dry. Luckily everything worked out for us without his representation but he is messing with peoples lives and it's wrong. I hope some form of disciplinary action is taken. It's cruel and unfair to mislead and cheat people just for money. Also his fees are outrageous and somehow the balance significantly goes up after payments instead of going down. Sketchy!

I was charged fees to file and associated charges to put together the documentation. I'm not looking at the immediate timeline on it, but about over a month or two later I was surprised at my door, at night by a large male process server, an alarming situation for a single woman. I finally heard back from the paralegal and complained they might have warned me as my ex filed at least a month ago AND there was no record of my lawyer having filed as my representation. The paralegal admitted she dropped the ball. When I challenged their billing, they subsequently admitted they significantly overcharged me. As for my case, I sent them a detailed outline of my situation, but each time they seem to be unaware of key details of my case. I was told by someone on staff that several lawyers quit without making arrangements for clients or making anyone aware and "everyone was overworked and had too much on their plate." They did not seem to want to advocate for me and pushed me to accept deals that were not even approaching equitable. When we were finally done, the offices sent me a proof of a decree that included none of what was agreed. Additionally, there were several glaring errors that could have had significant long term consequences had i not caught them. Today was a major deadline and I have not heard from my lawyer despite 3 emails to their office. Additionally, prior to these issues I recommended this office to several other people who have all come back to me to let me know about unprofessional behavior, lack of communication, and unclear billing.
