Ideal place for a dirty but good sausage roll. I first discovered Greggs in Edinburgh while away for a wild weekend, so Greggs was a saviour for some calorific snacks to keep me going through the day! I was so excited to see them come to Northern Ireland. I've been in the convenience of apple green service station and Boucher road Greggs. I feel that the NI branches might not be just as good as the ones on the mainland, but maybe they havn't established themselves fully yet. Maybe the novelty has slightly worn off me now too, but they are definitely worth a visit. They have a good online app with rewards too, if you are handy to Greggs

Clean, fresh, warm and welcoming with a huge choice, a good sized portion and a very decent price. The shop itself reminds me of a French deli with all the gorgeous cheeses on display and the shelves which are home to dips, spreads and chutneys! Seriously this is my kind of place! I once had a white chocolate cheesecake in here many moons ago and the image and taste are well engraved in my memory - it looked like something out of a magazine and the taste was thick, creamy yet melting and amazing. I sound like a freak but I will never forget it - haven't tasted one like it since. I can't rave about this place and the food enough - just go, you'll love it!

Unlike most other city centre locations they don't mess around with hot sandwiches or paninis etc.. They keep it simple by offering an unreal selection of high quality fresh fillings and salads. The portion sizes are ridiculous (in a good way) they pile so much in it's hard to see how they make any money! My personal fav it's their club sandwich, this easily the biggest sandwich you can buy in Belfast, it's costs just over a fiver but would easily do two people. Along side the quality produce and massive portions the service is second to none. Bob and Christine run it and their banter alone is worth a visit, a nice touch is also the fact they give you a free apple with every sandwich for a healthy desert.

Family run friendly business, and great to see these still exist and are going strong. You even get a wee bag of harbio on leaving - be warned he doesn't let you leave unless you take one!!

The food is tasty and homemadey - things like chicken and broccoli bake, chicken and ham pie, lasagne etc, all groaning with real ingredients and big lumps of meat or chicken. This is food like your momma makes, and portions like your granny serves. Servings are enormous and even I feel full after eating here. Each dish comes with a salad which translates as a few leaves and slices of tomato and a big dollop of creamy coleslaw or potato salad and/or chips. I have seen the serving staff having to literally squash the chips on to fit them on the plate. It's not just about big portions, though. The chicken pie has lovely chunky of leeks and mustard seeds for flavour. You an also get gorgeous tray bakes and made to order sandwiches to go if you're in a hurry. I've been to a couple of parties where the hosts have used Fillers as their caterers and am ashamed to say I had three helpings of dinner. I almost had no room left for wine. Almost.

I really, really like the sandwiches you get in here. It is a little bit out of the way if you are in the cntre of town but I'd maybe go so far as to say it is worth the journey and if you are up the Ormeau Road I couldnt recommend this place highly enough. My favourite fillings are avacado, brie and chicken or tuna mayo with green and red peppers. Both of these fillings I can find in Planks. I have grabbed a sandwich and coffee on the go from this place a few times which I hate doing as there is space inside and out to sit but often I have no time. The general ambiance of the establishment is nice with a busy air to it. My sandwich and coffee where nothing but the usual - I could be doing with more but that's because i'm a greedy mare - the portions are big enough. The coffee was just a take away coffee maybe slightly to hot and the container burns my delicate lady hands. Other than that I can't complain. A decent place with good snadwiches - it is a bit off the beten track for a nice evening/lunch time stroll in Belfast city centre but worth a visit if you are up that way - you will be getting just what you ordered and be happy with it!

Simple brunch menu and have to say was really tasty and efficient and all home cooked. I had wheaten bread with poached egg and Ballymaloe relish, the bread was from French Village and lovely and the eggs had runny yolks which I love. They do fresh smoothies and don't appear to fry anything as there was a choice of poached or scrambled on the menu. They also have soya and almond milk, (unsweetened almond milk) I was delighted as not many do this. The other half had a grill and nothing was greasy or left a grease mark on the plate and nothing was left on the plate. This consisted of toast, poached eggs (runny yolks) large mushroom and bacon. Thank you Colin W and Brian H for the excellent recommendation! I guess that the only thing making me give 4 stars rather than 5 for this place is that it's too…read moresmall (there aren't enough seats) and it doesn't open long enough hours. But it's the size it is and opens the hours it opens, so that's quite odd, that it's not a five star place because of that. However, from lunch times to later in the afternoon, Peppers can either be not so busy or very, very busy. The very, very busy possibility is much more likely as people filter in for their lunches, mostly those working around Boucher Road with the odd shoppers. So I can't give it five stars because, lovely as it is to drop in here for a gorgeous sandwich, delicatessen salad and maybe then a coffee with a bit of cake, you just don't know if there'll be a seat at the few tables. So making a trip would mean just a take away sandwich or eating in Subway next door or Browns Bar and Grill next door the other way. Actually they're both better than fine (Subway considering this one serves great soup as well as sandwich rolls) but, well, there it is, it would be nice to have a sit in in Peppers but maybe it's all occupied! There you go. It's only a simple sandwich bar / salad bar / delicatessen and most of its business is take away food sold at the counter. The food is lovely and so is the coffee. It's a very simple little place. And it's a treat if you have the time to pop in and sit down to eat, and if you get a table. Highly recommended. Opening to early tea-time would be excellent though, say 6.30, for a delicious, healthy quick snack followed by a brilliant coffee.
