I can't recommend Dr. Paronian enough. I typically only go for annual check-ups, but on one of my first visits, I got to see his level of compassion and commitment for his patients before I even had my appointment. As another patient was speaking with the front desk after his appointment, Dr. Paronian ran out of the back office to talk with the patient again, confirming logistics for how he was getting to the hospital from there. You would have thought we were in the ER for a moment. The man was as calm as can be, but Dr. Paronian was making it clear that he was concerned and personally invested in seeing the patient get the specific and immediate help he needed. I share this only to say: it's more than charts and checks here! He really cares about his patients. This was years ago. Though I've changed insurance a couple of times, I ensure he's in my network. If you're dealing with health issues, the last thing you want to worry about is cold and subpar care. You get none of these at Dr. Paronian's office. P.S. The office smells like a bottle of Le Labo perfume (at least the last time I was there). They pay attention to detail. Every now and then, there has been a wait - however, when you consider the quality of care and the volume of people who choose Dr. Paronian as their primary care physician, it makes sense! P.S.S. I did get the email about the new admin fee. To note, I've never had to pay it in the past so I don't know exactly when that was implemented. However, the email notification I received both notified and explained the fee. They also did not automatically charge me or generate a bill for it (from what I can see). I wrote this review for anyone questioning whether the service may be worth the new admin fee. If you can afford it, I'd still recommend Dr. Paronian. read more

I feel it's important to warn other patients about this. This Office charges a yearly administrative fee to patients who have both Medicare and Medi-Cal. And all my experience dealing with duel eligible coverage, I have never heard of a primary care office requiring an annual administrative or membership fee like this patients with Medi. Medi are often seniors with disabilities living on very limited fixed incomes, adding a mandatory yearly fee create an unexpected financial burden and feels specially concerning for this population. If you have Medicare and Medi-Cal, make sure you ask very clearly whether there are an annual administrative or membership fee before becoming a patient here transparency about costs should be standards, especially when serving vulnerable patients. read more

Dr Paronian and his PA Luisa are the best GP's I've ever had! They are incredibly thorough. E.g. I've never had physicals where I was spot checked for weird moles. Luisa checks my blood work and makes suggestions- I feel a lot better with Vitamin D and Magnesium supplements. I can't say enough good things about them. They have a phlebotomist in-house so I don't have to make an additional trip and appointment to get my blood drawn. They are fantastic! read more

Had my initial appointment with the nurse practitioner Beainy Ohanian and it was a great experience! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, didn't make me wait, and made me feel comfortable. I was so impressed with her professionalism and attention to care. Definitely, she is a person with high integrity and commitment to patient care. Best doctor I have ever had. Dr. Paronian is very competent and thorough, never rushed or too busy to answer questions. I think he really cares about his patients' well-being, which should be a job requirement, but I don't think this is true of all doctors. One nice thing is that now that I'm an established patient, Dr. P doesn't always need to see me for a visit every time I need a medication dosage adjustment or a referral to a specialist - a nice change from my last doctor. I just contact the doctor through an online message portal and let him know what's going on, and if he needs to see me, he'll let me know. Otherwise, he's happy to make a referral or change a medication or a dosage or whatever without having to see me. The office is clean, modern, and well run. At 3:45, 45 minutes after my appointment and watching no less than 6 people arrive after me and be called in, I gave up and left. At no time did anyone say a word to me. It was easy to schedule the first appointment and don't have to take long months. The staff was very accommodating and so as Dr. Gregor himself. All the good reviews here are true. He is really very detailed, would spend time to diagnose and hear your story and health questions. He looked at all my lab work and records and showed that he really care. Gregor is awesome. He put together a plan before I tested positive for covid. When I contacted him after hours he had a prescription ready soon after. Called me often to check on me and I made sure I beat covid. Go ahead and call your doctor right now and ask what the plan is if you test positive for covid. My wife was told if that happens she should go to the hospital if it gets bad. That is not care that is plain just plain incompetent. I decided to give it a chance. Best risk I ever took. I love Dr.Paronian and his clinical staff. His office manager Esther is the sweetest and they are VERY accommodating. I needed to get an emergency TB test and they fit me in right away, even before I had established care with him. My husband and I visited this beautiful and neat office with welcoming stuff, and the most kind and intelligent Primary care doctor we have ever met.
