Several months ago my mother brought my necklace in and after a week or so she picked up what she thought was my necklace. I'm not sure what salesman supposedly did the work. However they exchanged my 20" rope style gold necklace for a cheap gold plated necklace with the pretense of it being my necklace. I had the necklace for over 25 years and never took it off for anything but to have it fixed. The last time a jeweler looked at it told me that the necklace was old and weak because of its age and would continue to break easily. Wish I could leave NO stars. read more

I began my career in the jewelry business in 1982 as a bench repairman. I continued my education with courses in Gemological studies to earn my degree as a certified Gemologist. I also honed my skills in the field of repair, fabrication and custom designing earning degrees in each specialty field. I continue to learn each year and keep up on new and exciting products that I can offer.

It was not only replaced in a few minutes, but for $8, a person couldn't ask for a fairer price than that. I'm relatively new to the area, and had probably driven by 1000 times before I knew they were there. A friend turned me on to Garon's, and said he's been going there for decades. I was as impressed by the store as I was with its owner and staff. Garon's will most definitely be my go-to place from here on out.

When I found a problem with my ring after purchase I mailed it to them and they fixed the problem at no cost. Considering this involved them actually replacing the diamond with a higher quality one, this is unheard of in modern business. Do not go to Jared, do not go to Zales, go here!

It has been the same owner for 23 years and they're still doing great work and giving amazing repair services, even sized my rings and added gold without leaving a mark. "kitchen table quality" is far from what you receive here. Yes it is a "mom and pop" shop, but I'd much rather leave my valuables in the hands of a honest man than one of these places that don't fix things in store.

He broke the needle 3-4 times and replaced the needle without showing me that the new needle was sterile. Afterward, he bandaged my leg and told me not to take it off for a week. I went home and did as instructed. Three days later, a sore appeared right below the tattoo. It was raised and red and hurt. Then the place sank in. Nothing ever came out of it. I had my tattoo on November 11, 2023. By January 1st, I was in the hospital with 103 degree fever. The doctor said that I had two types of strep in my blood. This led to a 5 day stay in the hospital... 5 days of missed work. I also had a dermal done and it came out ... bar and gem. I will NEVER go back. I am trying to sue.

Be careful working with this company, they are under new ownership. It is not the same Oz Jewelers…read more THEY LOST MY ACCENT RUBY, THEY CHIPPED MY RUBY, AND THE PRONG WORK IS AWFUL. I got my ring back a week ago and took it to different Jewelers in the surrounding area and all said, "the prong work leaves alot to be desired" - they were to replace a prong on my sapphire and tip the other 3. There are ripples in the tipped prongs and they are so bad the Jewelers reviewing it would not attempt to tell me which one was replaced. I have had this ring for over a decade, it is well loved and in sterling silver, which is soft but the sapphire is not centered. There is a huge gap and the stone is pushed to one side leaving it diagonal. There are several prongs on the accent setting that needs replacement, that was never even mentioned to me when I brought it in. This ring was giving to me by my father when I was 19, it was 1,000 almost 20 years ago, my father passed in January. There is no amount of money too great for this ring. I added photos so you can see how poorly this ring was done, every jeweler I've spoken with said they would not return my ring to me like this. The stone they lost, I went to pick up my ring and was told the jeweler forgot to put the stone in. Why was my ring not inspected before it was put in a bag as completed? The ruby was not in the bag and they only told me it was lost thr next day, because the color did not match and they had to order a new ruby. THE COLOR STILL DOES NOT MATCH! In the sun you can see how pink the stone is compared to the others. And the ruby below the ruby they replaced has been chipped in the same spot the prong lays on the stone they replaced. This ring is "well loved", it is almost 20 years old. But none of my stones were chipped when I brought it in. There was no mention of a chipped stone when it was brought in. I know there are no photos of a chipped stone because my stone WAS NOT CHIPPED! The prong that broke was on the opposite side of the ring. I've included a photo of how my ring looked before it was brought in. I am devastated this all happened. I'm angry how this was handled. Every jeweler was surprised this was Oz's work and so am I. I will be taking this as far as I can. I'm an accountant, I have money Melissa and the ring you messed up means more to me than you will ever know.

He checked and replace all the prongs on all my diamonds because he noticed they were very worn (been on my finger for 30 years!) so he replace all 12 prongs as well as setting the new stone. And cleaned the ring too. I was overjoyed when I got it back because it literally looked brand new. All the scratches on the gold were buffed out and it looked fantastic. Price was extremely reasonable and the turn around time was phenomenal! Oz has been my families go to jeweler for 35 years. I can't imagine getting anything new or having a repair done anywhere but with him. The entire staff is absolutely awesome! Highly recommend Oz's jewelers for that special piece you're looking for. If he doesn't have it he will make it or find it..and everything is top quality!

These appliances (15" undercounter icemakers) are notoriously unreliable and Benfield truly went above and beyond to stand behind their work. Through no fault of theirs, the parts to repair the maker were expensive and the labor required to do the repairs was also expensive due to the extensive time involved. When problems reappeared, Benfield quickly took more responsibility than I believe any repair vendor would take and saw to it that our home got its icemaker working again. I can say without hesitation that this one is the most disgusting, neglected laundromat I've ever used. I've been coming here weekly for three years, and now that I finally have a washer and dryer at home, it's time to unload what I should have said long ago. After reading past reviews, I'm sure the owner will pop in with some excuse to argue, as he always does. Prices. This place is absurdly overpriced. The owner claims prices are "competitive for the region," but that's laughable when there's only one other laundromat in the county. People here should not pay the same rates as people in high-income urban areas. Always check your change too -- occasionally you'll be short a quarter from the coin return. For comparison: in Pennsylvania, a regular wash was $1.75 and an hour of drying $0.75. Here? $5.00 for a cold load. Warm water? +$0.25. Hot? +$0.25. Heavy load? +$0.25. It never ends. Everything costs extra. Paying for machines. Bring cash if you can, but the coin machine is regularly out of service. You might try the app advertised everywhere. Good luck -- you'll need to stand outside, hold your phone up, and maybe pray for a miracle. Cell service is hit or miss here (normal for the county), but at least expect the WiFi to help. Nope. You'll see the network, but it never actually connects. Interestingly, the WiFi worked perfectly for several months after the hurricane when linemen and volunteers were using these machines. Funny how that works. As soon as they left, so did the WiFi reliability. And if you do get the app to load, half the time it charges your phone but won't connect to the machine, forcing you to pay again. Bring extra money -- you'll need it. Cleanliness. The owner claims someone is paid to clean, but it makes no difference. I've seen someone come in sometimes (I assume the owner) who rushes around sweeping and emptying a few trash cans like he'd rather be anywhere else. It happens too rarely to make a difference. Floors are always covered in dirt and debris. Powder detergent is spilled on the tops of machines. The bathroom is perpetually dirty with a barely working sink. The outside area regularly has piles of leaves and trash. The dog wash is coated in hair, smells awful, and is impossible to breathe in. Most of the time, the whole laundromat has a moldy odor. The owner even boarded up the trash cans by the car vacuums, presumably because he got tired of dealing with them. Bathroom. It's filthy, and you might not even be able to use it. It was locked for "misuse." Instead of hiring an attendant, the owner denied customers access. After that, he rented a port-a-potty, the only option for months. Recently it's unlocked, but given the history, who knows for how long. Customer service. Don't bother calling -- I tried multiple times when issues first started, and my calls were never returned. I also witnessed a woman call when the coin machine broke; she waited endlessly in a full laundromat. When the owner finally appeared, he tried to sneak away without speaking to her. I had to point him out so she could get her issue resolved. Customer service here is nonexistent. Bottom line. This laundromat is overpriced, filthy, and mismanaged. Save yourself the frustration: make the trip to Marion or set aside a little money at a time to save for your own washer and dryer. It will be a huge relief.

There are several different size machines for various laundry needs. I've never seen a machine out of order there, which is a big plus because the other laundromats in the area always have out of order signs on several machines. There's a change machine, vending machines, and even a massage chair like in the mall in Asheville. You can even use the app if you're like myself and don't carry cash on you; that is super convenient and helpful. The prices aren't cheap, but they are on par with the other laundromats. I've never needed to use the restroom while there, so I can't comment on the bathroom facilities or whether or not they are locked. All in all, five stars. Would recommend.

I have never had a ring repaired before, and I am so glad that I decided not to go to one of those big chain stores and instead go for the little man. I didn't realize just how old the establishment is, but after learning that, I have so much more respect for them. I had my ring serviced by putting a family diamond piece in my engagement ring.
