I'd recommend Dr. Myers to anyone in the Cleveland area that needs a root canal. I felt at ease as soon as I began my conversation with the friendly receptionist(s) and started filling out the paperwork, which had an entire section on anxiety levels. I checked "I'm a little anxious, but fine" which was the lowest, but there were options all the way up to "I'm so anxious, I feel like running out the door right now!" I'm sure that those options get checked all the time, and I know that just reading that they care put me at ease right away. Dr. Myers explained the procedure thoroughly, told me I was doing great the whole way through, and didn't get too frustrated when he realized that it was a harder root canal that he had originally expected. It just meant more focus on his end and more time in the chair for me, he explained. The follow-up discussion was comforting as well, and I left with his cell number just in case something goes wrong, not that I'm expecting that! Honestly, getting a root canal isn't bad, it's just like a regular filling intensified. The worst part, in my opinion, is getting numbed, but I even felt that the Novocain shots were easier than usual! So, five stars for Dr. Myers and his helpful staff. I'd rather not return, but I'd definitely recommend him for anyone in need of an endodontist. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office from start to finish. My biggest issue was the lack of transparency about the cost of my treatment. I believed my insurance would cover the procedure, but after everything was completed, I was left with a bill of over $300. I was later told they had already applied a discount of around $190, but that didn't address my main concern. If I had been told the full out-of-pocket cost before the procedure, I would have declined it altogether. A discount on a service I never would have agreed to doesn't change the fact that I wasn't given the information I needed to make an informed decision. The office also accused me of trying to leave without paying, which was completely untrue. I was trying to discuss payment options because I couldn't afford the unexpected balance. At the time, they were unwilling to work with me. Then, months later, I received calls offering a payment plan while also threatening to send the account to collections. That was frustrating because I had already tried to resolve the matter much earlier. I also attempted to negotiate a settlement by offering to pay a significant portion of the balance immediately. Instead of having a respectful conversation, I was told no. When I asked to speak directly with Dr. Greg Myers, the conversation became extremely unprofessional. In my experience, he spoke to me disrespectfully, used profanity, and ultimately hung up on me while I was trying to resolve the issue. I found that behavior unacceptable from a healthcare professional. My interactions with the front desk staff, including Kara, were also disappointing. I did not feel heard, respected, or treated like a valued patient. Overall, this experience left me feeling misled about costs and poorly treated when I tried to work out a reasonable solution. I would encourage anyone considering this office to ask for a detailed written estimate of all costs before agreeing to any treatment and to make sure they fully understand what their insurance will and will not cover. read more

The procedure itself was performed well, and I appreciate the skill involved. However, I was very frustrated with the way Dr. Myers communicates with patients. When I asked simple questions to better understand my situation, he became defensive and focused on emphasizing the quality of his work rather than addressing my concerns. I want to be clear -- I was not questioning his ability or methods, only trying to gain clarity about my treatment. Unfortunately, it feels that asking questions makes Dr. Myers annoyed or that he does not truly listen to what you are saying, and simply runs to his defense. I would consider returning based on the efficiency of the root canal itself and it being relatively close to me in Solon, but the overall experience with the dental staff made me hesitant to do so (the front desk people were great). Additionally, while waiting, I overheard the doctor telling other patients how superior his work is and that his process should not be questioned. While confidence is important, bedside manner is equally critical. Patients who are in pain and seeking help want to feel heard and respected, not patronized. read more

My experience with Dr. Myers' practice was surreal, embarrassing, and infuriating--like dealing with a petty dictator rather than a medical professional. Initial visit went fine until it came time to schedule the root canal. Suddenly, I was heavily pressured into signing a form agreeing to pay hundreds of dollars extra for Dr. Myers' special "advanced technology" procedure. The strong implication was clear: agree to this additional fee or don't get treatment here. When I needed to reschedule after getting sick, I was suddenly banished to the Bermuda Triangle of medicine--the infamous "Waitlist Limbo" that you won't know exists until you're stuck there. The front desk dragon (Michelle/Shelley) refused to give any information about if or when I might get seen again. For FOUR WEEKS, I called periodically asking: Would I get seen? When would I get seen? What should I do in the meantime with my infected tooth? Each time, the response was the same hostile, evasive "you're on the waitlist" with no further explanation. When I directly asked if I should seek care elsewhere, she repeated the same line with an unmistakable "you deserve this" attitude before hanging up. The final slap in the face: After finding another endodontist and requesting my records be transferred, they sent only partial information (X-rays but no CT scans). When I called from my new doctor's waiting room to request the missing scans, I was told only Dr. Myers could release them--and he was conveniently "unavailable." This practice showed shocking unprofessionalism in handling a simple rescheduling request, leaving me with an untreated infection and incomplete medical records. read more

I had a root canal today and had a great experience. The assistant was great as well as the front desk staff who checked me in. I had the gentle wave procedure and was really impressed at the technology and how far root canals have come over the years. Dr. Myers is very knowledgeable and I had full trust in him completing my root canal procedure. Two thumbs up!! read more

Mother went in for a Root canal and Dr. Myers was Wonderful, explained everything to her, making her feel comfortable. The entire staff were very professional and very knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in till the time we left everything was explained and taken care of. I cannot say anything, and I do mean anything, bad about this group of fine people. Staff is very curt not well mannered. My tooth was killing me I called on a Monday told me I couldn't see me till Friday. I was floored. I had her on speaker phone and my hubby said sounds like she didn't have her coffee. Wow. If you don't like your job quit lady! I have been to this office before and will not be coming back. Dr Myers you need to pay your staff well to get some people that have compassion. So sad people have to pay lots of money to be treated so rude. read more

READ other sites for reviews, I wish I had before I went to him. He is the most condescending, rude, arrogant doctor I have had the displeasure of meeting. He has very little patience and is very harsh. He is also very rude and short with his assistant, and after talking with her, I know she feels the same, I just don't know how she can work with him everyday. When the procedure was completed I had the gumption to tell him just what I thought of him. He proceeded to tell me it was "my perception".....of course it was my perception, but it is my perception that he should be interested in. He actually lectured me on how great he is and how I didn't understand how important his work is. A patient knows when a doctor is talking down to them, I am a highly educated person and did not welcome his arrogance, rudeness, and his verbal condescending lecture.
