I was told the coupon was not required because my insurance paid for the visit and no extra charge was to be applied to me. Unfortunately, I received a bill, WU0023 asking for $145.30 after an insurance payment of $308.20. The bill was sent to me several times, regardless of my explanation that I was told no extra charge from the beginning. I also argued that I did present my first-time customer's coupon for a total charge of $88 during my visit. Solon Smiles refused to listen to my repeated complaints and insisted on charging me $145.30.   I believe that I should either pay $88 as a first-time customer as the coupon indicated, plus a return of the $308.20 to my insurance account or they should only charge insurance $308.20 and waive my $145.30. If they do not do any of these two options, it means that the coupon is only a scam to bring customers in without honoring it. Best regards, A Very Unhappy Customer

However, the Sinick dentist told me I needed a dental implant after spending about a minute with me, with zero explanations, and their treatment plan was a very large amount of money (over $7,000) I got a second opinion. This dentist spent much more time with me, actually showed me the x-rays, and offered less expensive options such as a bridge that Sinick did not. Additionally, the cost of the implant was less. When he came to inject me for pain, he injected into a different area than where he put the topical. He unnecessarily put me in pain multiple times during that visit. I kept telling him I was in pain and he was ignoring me. I had to stop him to tell him I was in pain. He gave me another shot under the upper lip and then a VERY PAINFUL shot behind my teeth. He never bothered to even try to numb that spot. The receptionist condescendingly called me "hun." Everyone speed talks and it has a chop-shop vibe. They are more interested in turning over chairs than the comfort of their patients. I will never go back there.
