I cannot express how pleased I am with the services I received. Mr. Osment took on a rather challenging expungement case that other attorneys declined because I didn't meet the qualifications (i.e. maximum of two misdemeanors). He methodically reviewed every conviction dating back over the course of 17 years and found discrepancies that previous defense attorneys missed. I got into financial difficulties and Mr. Osment was recommended to me by a close friend since she had a great experience with his firm. I had an appointment previously with another firm in Monroe, MI and was appalled at the way I was treated. So I made an appointment with Mr. Osment. I was very upset and scared over my situation but he made me feel at ease and told me that he could help me. He explained all the bankruptcy choices, went over the fees and he was very very reasonable. Mr Osment had me make an appointment to come back and this is when I met with Shirley who was extremely kind, compassionate and caring. She helped me get all my paperwork together and in order so that the hearing would be very successful. Mr Osment went over everything with me as well and my hearing went better than I could have expected. Terrible all the way around.Went to Osment for a simple bankruptcy, not much debt,but I'm on disability and he wanted $2500,which is very high for a simple bankruptcy, in Installments. I Provided all documentation to him as required, my mother had added $70,000 to my $14,000 disability income for 2015 tax year, (another issue completely)which I did not understand until the night before the bankruptcy hearing. After speaking to another Bankruptcy attorney later on I found out because of the excess income,the case should never have been filed by Mr.Osments office,let alone allowed to go to a hearing. So I threw $2500 of my disability income away for nothing.Furthermore,Osment is rude and uncooperative in explaining things or answering concerns, actually very snotty and rude. He just wants your money,lots of it and keep it coming! My advise is stay away. read more

Let me start by saying if I could give them zero stars I would! The woman who works the front desk, I believe her name is Sarah, she is unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. Mr. Osment couldn't make it to our scheduled appointment. Instead of calling and rescheduling to save me the trip, she did nothing. When I asked her why she didn't call to let me know (because she knew hours in advance that he would not be there) she said "I was at lunch." Then I was offered a conference call meeting with him. When I reluctantly agreed she got up from her desk and said "now I have to move all my other clients around" as if it is my fault HE missed the appointment and no one let me know they needed to reschedule. I cannot believe that he has this woman representing his business. I will be taking my business elsewhere and passing along to everyone the horrendous way I was treated at Greggory Osment & associates.
