A month later, I hardly feel the pain, unless I lift something heavy or try to reach out to my left side. Very happy about the result of the PRP. During the process, Der. Roofian was very professional and caring. As instructed, I came back to his Tarzana office a month later to check up on my shoulder pain. At this time, he gave me a cortisone shot for my upper back pain. Now, I'm virtually pain free and back to normal as long as I don't excert or abuse my left shoulder. After I slipped and fell on my back, I developed severe back pain, hip pain, pain going down the back of my leg toward my knee, and numbness in my toe. The pain became so intense that there were many nights when I simply couldn't sleep or get comfortable. I can tell you unequivocally, Dr. Nevo is the most caring, kind, personable, and understanding doctors that I've ever seen. He has gone out of his way to learn about conditions that I have that he wasn't up-to-date on, so that he could treat me more effectively and unlike many doctors he is not only willing to admit if he doesn't know something, but he is willing to do the work to learn if it's within his scope of support. If something isn't within his scope of support, he is always happy and eager to offer a referral. I was feeling anxious and unhopeful and just trying to get through the day. It was a constant nightmare. I dreaded going to sleep knowing that in the middle of the night my flare ups would begin and I would get no sleep. Since I have met Dr. Nevo, for the first time in my life I feel hopeful. I've seen doctors in the past since my accident from June of 2024 and not one doctor that I have met has made me feel taken care of. Not only am I feeling better due to the treatment I am receiving but I love that Dr. Nevo is so empathetic and supportive.
