I also brought a friend with me, which I saw several other boudoir photographers in OC do not allow. During the photo viewing (a few days after the shoot), she went through each photo for a yes, maybe, or no, and took notes on how I would or would not like photos to be retouched. It had been a while since I had a photoshoot and I hadn't been working out but I knew the boudoir book was the perfect gift for my well-deserving boyfriend for Valentine's Day. Thank goodness Isaac was able to fit me into his schedule (he mentioned he travels for different shoots and isn't always in town) AND he was really helpful in selecting what pieces I should wear for the 'Color Shoot' setting! The day of the shoot we reviewed the outfits again while hair and makeup were going...and it was then that the princess vibes commenced. I felt so beautiful, and sexy, and confident...in less than an hour I suddenly transformed into Beyonce. The positive energy before the shoot made me feel so incredible, like an elegant seductress ready to slay!!!! You won't believe the transformation until you try it. The entire shoot went so smoothly. Isaac gave great direction in correcting posture to show off my curves, and this man knew all of the right poses for my body type. He let me take a peek at some of the raw shots and I couldn't believe that was me! Did I mention that this man thinks of EVERYTHING? He had heated body oil ready to ensure my skin was glistening, the perfect playlist to get you in the mood to make eyes with the camera, AND when it came time to lay on the very clean floor...he had placed a space heater on the floor so it wasn't freezing cold!!! Even still, the finished result was far more luxurious than I anticipated. As my boyfriend and I looked through the fairly heavy photo book...photo book ALL of me...I couldn't help but be moved to tears, really just in shock that the gorgeous woman was me. She helps you pick outfits that are flattering for your body type, hair, nails, and makeup tips, places to shop, what to bring for your photoshoot, schedule for the day of, etc. There is no reason for someone not to have a great experience with Claire; just follow her instructions, she's been doing these shoots for a long time, and she knows what she's talking about! Upon arrival, Claire and my makeup artist (Ariel) went over my preferences, and I cannot praise Ariel enough; my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless! Claire will talk with you about the process, which made me feel more comfortable, then she'll go through the outfits to see what would work best for the shoot, and set up your wardrobe in a private room. Claire and Ariel will check your outfits and jewelry to make sure you look flawless, and your shoot begins. Don't worry about posing; Claire has a ton of poses for you and guides you on how to hit your marks. My time with them was so much fun, exciting, comfortable, and empowering. When the shoot is done, you'll have a break, so make sure to bring lunch! During this time, Claire is setting up your photos for the selection process. Again, there is no pressure to pick or discard photos from your gallery. The hardest part is declining photos because her photography is gorgeous! I couldn't believe how incredible these photos looked, and that takes a lot for me to say about myself; I have never felt so confident about my looks until seeing these photos. After the selection process, I always received an email when my prints or artwork were being shipped to me, again continuing her fantastic communication process. If you book a shoot with Claire, you're doing yourself a favor. Just be sure to read all the emails because the information is so valuable to enhance your photoshoot experience.
