Where to start?... Not your traditional cake smash... Eva was amazing. Starting with color suggestions, poses, and ending on the actual photos! The session was super fun and smooth. I wasn't rushed or uncomfortable in any way. The studio is very cute and cozy and even though I wasn't able to use any of the baby outfits due to the traditional cake smash age brackets, I enjoyed looking at the all the props, decor and huge variety of outfits. Planning a newborn shoot at around week 36 is stressful enough, now trying to find the right one and it's over. Luckily I found Eva and Eastbrook Photography on yelp and was able to secure a shoot for our little guy. The process was easy and stress free. I emailed her, confirmed the package I was interested in, the tentative due date and put in my deposit. Fast forward, our little guy is born :) and we confirmed the date. (It is best for you to go in for your shoot when the baby is under 10 days old) Eva is in no uncertain terms THE Baby Whisperer. I move my little guy the wrong way and he's awake. I am so happy to have found Eva though Instagram. While I was pregnant, I searched all over Instagram to try to find a photographer that I liked to take newborn photos. After I emailed her she responded promptly and answered all my questions. I paid a deposit and when I gave birth to my baby we set up a time between 7-10 days of birth. When we went there we walked in and she was very nice and inviting. I also liked that she wore masks and gloves because I was bringing my newborn baby with me. She was really great at swaddling and putting the baby into the different props. I send her photos of which props and outfits I really liked and she pulled them out so they were ready for us when we got there. After the photo session she sent us a link with all the photos and we got to pick the ones we wanted to buy. I really love all the photos so much. And I would definitely want her to do more photos for us in the future. She is also great at not over editing the baby so that the baby still looks real. read more

Eva is heaven sent and hands down the best photographer we have ever had. She stands out from the rest because she immediately makes you feel comfortable, which is huge if you feel awkward taking pictures or if you are handing her your newborn baby. She has been the first person besides hospital staff to hold both our week old babies and they never cried or fussed in her arms. We have used her 6 times and counting since 2021 for maternity, newborn, cake smash and family photos and each time she exceeded our expectations. The hardest part is picking which photos to keep because she delivers soo many beautiful quality pictures. She is patient, extremely efficient, and committed to getting you photos you will love. If you have toddlers she moves quickly before they get cranky and respects their space and body language if they don't want to pose or take pictures a certain way. Lastly we have used other photographers in a time crunch and multiple times had to pay for photos we could not use at all. It takes a lot getting the family and children ready for photos and Eva will go above and beyond for you. She just delivered our son's 1st birthday photos EARLY! She was so gracious and patient and helped me select the cutest gown in her collection. She then did our newborn photos - our baby was born one week before the COVID shutdown. Had our first photoshoot with Eva for our baby girl's milestone. We did a cake smash shoot. It was really fun for us at least lol. I found Eva via an Instagram friend.Our babygirl had her moments. Eva is excellent with children. We found parking immediately and right near the entrance. The studio itself is very cozy. There are tons of backdrops to choose from as well as outfits. We actually purchased a couple dresses specifically for this shoot.The cake snash is gun but obviously very messy. Be sure to bring a change of clothes and lots of wipes. Make sure when you book that you pay attention and if you plan on ha ing others apart of the shoot make sure they are present. I paid an extra $50 initially when booking which was also the deposit cause I thought my oldest daughter would be apart of the shoot but she was not and I paid the extra and still had to pay the full amount as if she was .I used Eva recommend baker for the cake and she delivers to the studio which was a plus. At home she was very fussy to the point we were afraid the photo shoot wouldn't work out. When we had our first baby in May this year we were in search of a photographer to take our newborns first pictures.
