A lot of the other photographers we looked at just weren't our style with too many props or were in home sessions so Kristin ticked two of our biggest requirements. Booking was simple. So I found Kristin from Yelp during the holidays last year. I'm typically scrambling to do family holiday photos. I loved the prices of the mini-sessions Kristin had on her website, except we couldn't get all the family together on the dates that were left because...I'm was so last minute. Kristin had the great ideas on Pinterest worthy photos and I'm sorry Kristin, I totally R&D it (rip off and duplicate), except it was a major fail. Ultimately, we mailed out blown-up blurry holiday photos that were soooo bad! The new year rolled around and a wonderful family business opportunity presented itself, calling for a new website, business cards and social media photos. I really loved Kristin's vibe from her photos and contacted her to do a specific kind of photo shoot. She was sweet and polite in her response and said she doesn't specialize in headshots and recommended another colleague. Working with Kristin has been so wonderful! She took the photos for both my maternity shoot (with a toddler) and for our in-home newborn shoot.
