What I don't understand is you can call me to tell me they're coming but you couldn't call when they said nobody answered the door. They have been to my house two times for sure but I think three. We moved in to the house in April. This happened one other time when they didn't have the right address and they called me. How can you not have the correct address? He got more angry and abusive. I told him to either do the job or void the warranty, but STOP. Yelling at me. Then I left him alone to do his work, he left 20 min later without a word. No humanity or integrity. He clearly dumped our service out of vengefulness, I was unwilling to kowtow to his rage or tolerate his abuse. I am crippled. I can't lift over 5 lbs. We had a problem with our dishwasher and so our home warranty contracted RMS Appliance Repair to…read morecome out and fix the issue. It looks like this company is a single person operation and he came out and looked at the dishwasher and made some assessments. I had to pay him $125 deductible on the spot and he told me that same night he will go ahead and provide his assessment to the warranty company so he can come back in the next few days and either try to fix the dishwasher or replace it. Well, it took almost 2 WEEKS and after lots of phone calls to RMS Appliance by me and the warranty company, we finally got the assessment. Then he decided he will not fix unless the warranty company prepays for parts with credit card. Almost a month later and I had to find another contractor to come out and fix the issue. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dishwasher itself..it was a bad outlet. If RMS Appliance had done its job properly, this would have been discovered immediately. Instead the guy opened up the dishwasher and proceeded to tell me a bunch of parts needed to be replaced. He did absolutely nothing except take my money. VERY UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

He ordered the replacement part and came back out a couple days after the part was delivered. He installed the part within a couple hours, probably closer to an hour. The cost for labor was very reasonable, and then the cost of the part completed the total amount billed. With this fix, the fridge/freezer should last another five years. I started to worry I needed to buy a new one when I couldn't find the replacement part online. I'm glad J & J was able to get the part and fix in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price.

Flipped it back on the next day and it persisted, so I figured I better go ahead and take care of this. Watched a few YouTube videos and "noped" out of that pretty fast. I requested some quotes on Yelp and J&J was the only one who didn't just send back a "call us for price" kind of message. He broke down exactly what it would be for the service call, how it applies to the cost of the labor, etc. While it was a notch higher than what I'd want to pay, I get it. Everything is. He got the part ordered, was prompt on his follow-up visit, and got things taken care of quickly. All good, no issues to speak of. I hate appliance repairs but appreciate having someone who could communicate clearly and take care of it for us.
