It was a flawless experience from booking the appt to meeting with Robb. He was so good with our son. Started by giving him a fireman's cape, then had us sit him in this cool fire truck. Before the appt, we received a text with very helpful info so we felt prepared. Robb was extremely patient and a true a professional. The haircut is so much better than we even expected. At the end, he gave us a lock of our sons hair in a bag as well as a certificate for his 1st haircut. I can tell you after this experience we have no reason to ever look elsewhere when it's time for a son's next haircut.

What a good deal! My second time was with a tall white gentleman with a purple mohawk, who while providing an excellent service and a great haircut, was not a student barber. This meant that I needed to pay full price which was around $20 to $25 for a haircut and beard trim, and with a tip, it came out to $30. Pricey! My 3rd and most recent time was a haircut performed by a barber who was somewhere between a fresh student and a experienced professional. He was a young Latino fellow who at the time seemed to be in a hurry to eat lunch. Unfortunately, this meant that it was easier to make mistakes and I ended up bleeding profusely in several areas when the barber used his single blade razor to shave my neck and upper cheeks. Fortunately, he was a nice guy. He apologized and refused to accept payment (i.e. I got a free "haircut"), and even offered me a free towel. In terms of ambiance, this place has a constant flow of customers coming in, and it has an interesting set of articles and pictures on the walls along with a TV playing music to keep you entertained while you wait. Ultimately, the good and the bad all kind of even out, and this place receives an average score of 3/5 in my opinion.
