Our driver was so awesome, funny, kind, and got us to Bangor safely. It took HOURS but I'll never forget how great he was. I wish we had more options - I travel from Lincoln, Maine to Portland, Maine frequently. I try to use public transportation as much as possible to save the environment and save my car. Perhaps the limited options are Covid related. It was hard getting up at 4:30 this morning to get on the 7 am bus to Portland. I was determined to support our business and also help save the environment. I have been vaccinated against Covid, that has helped me make this decision, as well. They have plastic guards on all the seat backs. They have seats blocked off. The staff are awesome, as always! I love how I can sit back, read, listen to music, or watch a movie. You do have to bring your own headphones now and they do not serve water and snacks. That is fine - I'm grateful they are still in service.

I hired the 36 passenger trolley & the 56 passenger coach to drive from Brunswick Maine to New Gloucester Maine on the weekend of 20 July for the wedding party and all of our guests. One of the six trips to and from the hotel and venue went well, the other 5 not so much. The driver of the coach bus showed up late at the hotel to pick up our guests and then to make matters worse he drove right by the venue and had to turn this coach bus around in the middle of a back country road. The wedding started 15 minutes late which created a ripple effect for the rest of the night. Neither the trolley or the couch bus had adequate working air conditioning. I called the company on the next business day to let them know what had happen and the office manager told me that they where aware of the air conditioning problem and apologized for this and the driver of the coach being late. He told me that he was going to talk to the general manager about what had taken place and someone would get back to me. To date I have not heard back from them. Northeast Charter & Tour moved our guests from hotel to venue and back but we could have done this for much less and not had any of these problems. This was not a low budget contract with them by any stretch.

The bus was clean and comfortable. 14 people got on the bus as strangers and bonded quickly over beers and brew tales. This really seemed like the kind of adventure you could do again and again. Can't wait to go back and share the Maine Beer Tour experience with others. The one downside was that, as someone who is perpetually early, the lack of signage to be sure I was in the right place made me a bit nervous that I was where I was suppose to be to catch the bus. We hung out in front of the Portland Lobster Co. For a few minutes before others arrived to reassure us we were in the right spot. Overall, this was a fantastic adventure for this beer lover.
