3 times now I have been screwed out of money by these guys, one was twice in one day. First time, got there exactly at the time and was immediately rejected. Normally I wouldnt make a big deal about it...but the bitch was rude as fuck about it. Literally got snappy with me and everything just for asking if there was anything I could do. Shittiest people working here I ever met, these people dont deserve jobs. The second time I was 5 min early and showed them on my phonr I still had 5 minutes and they still rejected me, and they were ALSO RUDE AS FUCK!!!! Like do yall just not hire decent people? Why they gotta be rude and aggressive while they telling me im fucked for the day. So I decided to never to use greyhound again even if Im down bad desperate I do not care will never be desperate enough for this. I then cancled my ticket home, I paid $67 dollars for 2 tickets there and back, but cancleling the second ticket had a $30 fee. I got $7 back from this experience. I feel robbed, Im extremely insulted by how they talked to me because I was literally just asking them nicely for information on what to do, and all around was the worst experience of any business Ive ever been to in my life. I dont even know how they stay in business to be honest, whoever supports this business horrible, people should boycott places like this so they understand wtf they doing to people. read more

I wasn't a fan of this greyhound! The staff seems under paid and pissed off because of it. There was this one lady who was talking to people like someone crapped in her cereal that morning. Her coworker had to tell her to calm down because at the end of the day we're all human. A lot of the times they will ignore you while you're just asking a question because the last thing you want to do is miss your bus or get on the wrong bus. The hardest part is trying to figure it out yourself or asking other people are just as confused so then you're stuck just having to figure it out for yourself which sucks. The bus drivers were no better, we got yelled at them too. Once we got to Tallahassee the driver yelled in the mic making everyone get off the bus and he ignored you if you asked him any questions, so yea! That trip was ghetto!! read more

When I arrived at the Melbourne location I was told that the stop no longer existed and I would ga to go to pick up a bus in Rockledge. The cost of the Uber fees was more then the bus ticket. How do you sell tickets to a station that doesn't exist ? Your customer support was absolutely the worst to deal with on the phone ! After exploring all other options to pick up a vehicle, I was stuck taking a Lyft (no gripe about the Lyft service) today at 4:45am 45 miles to get to a greyhound in Modesto for a 6:15am 2 hour trip to Sacramento. I was COMPLETELY DISGUSTED. The bus #86873 smelled so BADLY OF URINE THAT IT BURNED MY EYES. I had to hold my sweatshirt over my face the whole trip. No way to open a window. Others on the bus said it had been that way since THEY GOT ON IN LOS ANGELES! Myself and others were calling greyhound from the bus requesting refunds. We were all told to go online. WHY?? Their job is to help their customers! WE'RE ALL STUCK on a bus REPORTING A HEALTH CRISIS! Take the reports. I would've taken a picture of the bathroom, but was afraid to open the door. And when I got off, MY CLOTHING STANK SO BAD OF THAT STENCH, THAT EVEN FRESH AIR DIDN'T HELP. I am 68 years old and immunocompromised. I rode greyhound busses 50 years ago when AMERICA TOOK PRIDE IN IT'S COMPANIES. Another passenger told me he traveled about 30 times a year using greyhound, but that Munich-based FlixBus acquired greyhound in 2021. Bus drivers were all very unfriendly. Unprofessional. Pushy. Demeaning. Unhelpful. Two of them were actually mean. Speaking out loud to demean other customers. One of them didn't even know how to turn the air conditioning on or open the luggage doors on the outside of the bus. Only one driver insisted we sit in our assigned seats despite the bus being less than half full and no other passengers objecting. So, not only was my 4:30PM bus from Jacksonville (Downtown) over 4 hours late causing me to miss my other connecting bus but I had to sweat the entire journey and upon arriving in Charlotte, NC I learned there was no other connecting bus until 2:35PM when the late bus arrived at 6:45AM. I am very disappointed in greyhound and do not believe I'll ever take a trip with them myself or allow my family members to travel greyhound ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Hands down the worst travel experience I've had the displeasure of participating in so far in life. My beef is with the company policy for non-refundable tickets. I am a disabled Vet. I cannot drive and live on a limited income. I had a sudden death in my family (suicide). I am to leave for the Xmas holiday to go see my kids. I have made this trip for a number of years but I am not able to this year. Out of habit I select the non-refundable ticket only because its cheaper. who could possible know that a family member was going to kill themselves? I called and pleaded with Greyhound. Even asked if I could go to a supervisor only to be told "they will tell you the same thing I am telling you." There is absolutely no exception. Adding insult to injury, they will not let me transfer the ticket at all. All I can do it give them a new date of travel and pay another 20 bucks for that privilege they will bestow upon me. Unrealistic company policy to have NO exception for a death. Customer service is pathetic. read more

Greyhound policy on modification of a ticket needs amending. How is it non refundable, non transferable? So I'm giving Greyhound 1 star because of my experience 5 mins ago... As I was browsing for a ticket for my mom, I had a computer glitch and needed to refresh. Once I refreshed the website gave me a confirmation number and everything on the ticket was exploratory, I was just inquiring of their prices and schedules. So now I'm out of $135.00 for a ticket neither myself or mom could use... This is so ridiculous. I'll just stick to driving next time. Make sure you don't go over the weight limit or you will be charged! They also have Money Gram in this location. So, If you are traveling and need money fast, they can help you with this, but for a larger than what I would want to pay fee. They people who work here are not very friendly, but occasionally you will find one. Make sure you have no knives or any contraband, or it will be taken away. I really do not like this location, or the bldg. that is so outdated and old. For such a big city, they should have something new and clean. The good thing about this location, is if you are hungry, you can run to Big Pete's Pizza, and grab a quick bite to eat, or the Hot Dog Lady on the street is good, or Confetti's in the Everbank Bldg on ground floor. So.. I just purchased a ticket to travel next Tuesday. I found out a couple of hours later that I wouldn't be able too take the trip so I immediately called customer service to get a refund. The rep says that I am not eligible for a refund because I purchased an economy fare ticket. I don't know what that means and she didn't explain it. She then told me to go online and request my refund of $42.99 back. I received an email that says that I would not be recovering a refund for this ticket but I could reschedule to travel another time. I won't be traveling another time. Which is what I was explaining to them. I emailed asking to speak to a supervisor and I keep getting the same email that says we are looking over your request and then immediately following that email I receive another email that says that they will not honor my request for a refund. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I am disappointed and infuriated over this. They need to put something in bold letters stating that this is a policy. Greyhound Bus Lines is more established, but I prefer riding with Megabus. Namely because Greyhound tickets tend to be more expensive. Megabus is newer and occasionally offers $1 routes to selected places. However, Greyhound actually has a station, whereas Megabus is basically a randomly designated spot. Greyhound does offer more route options as well. Also, they have more departure times. In order to keep up with the competition, Greyhound have outlets and wifi on the bus also. Greyhound requests you arrive 1 hour prior to departure time to check-in, if necessary, and to board timely. read more

Right downtown and very easy to make connections to the city bus. Rosa Park station where a lot of the city busses leave from is an easy 10min walk. If you're going to the airport this greyhound station makes the transfer easy. You can be at the airport within an hour if you time it all right. read more

I buy bus tickets online because it's cheaper. Always check-in about thirty minutes before bus leaves. People behind counter are boisterous and courteous. They're firm about the rules and apply them to everybody. There's a small fast-food type restaurant/gift shop. I haven't tasted the food, but it smells decent enough. Bathrooms are clean. The website experience was the WORST! First, booking timeouts were too short; it doesn't give you enough time to think or review booking choices! The chat is the worst; the only way you'll be able to assess it, if you booked a trip; the WORST part of this experience is after, I entered all my payment info, an error message stated that something went wrong!! Not only was the bus departing my original destination of savannah was two hours late but the drive that gets us to our first stop tells us rudely to get off the bus and that we would be here in Jax about 30 minutes. When I see the half an hour go by I go to question the delay and of course the counter customer service agent says "I don't know nothing, I don't even work for grey hound". Umm, are you kidding me? Then I ask well does anyone know anything and I get the following: well the drive just bought you all here to Jax but the drive for your bus will not be here until 2 hours from now. This driver is a complete nut case, reminding everyone to be quiet every few minutes. She threatened us that if we do not remain quiet she will turn the bus around and have us all get off. Prior to leaving, this young lady, who is just trying to get home to her family, was taken off the bus and accused of being a problem, this young lady was doing nothing and sitting with her headphones in, minding her own business. The bus driver pulled her off and refused to let her on, after 20 minutes of waiting, the young lady was finally able to get back on. The driver is the rudest out of them all. She's got her finger nails longer than ever and they are bright pink. Greyhound should be ashamed of themselves for even hiring a person like this. Never will I ever use greyhound again. I had a wonderful trip from Jacksonville to Pensacola and back. The bus was brand new and the bus drivers went out of their way to help me as did everyone else in any of the various depots. I have only seen the new bus station here in Jax without going inside. The stations all the way across the state were old and ugly. Pensacola had a really big and wonderful station when I was growing up as did Panama City. The bus still doesn't stop in some of the small places at all. I am 78 years of age and since the train no longer takes us to the Panhandle and the cost of plane fare is so high, I don't think there is a better way to do. read more

Greyhound is an absolute shit hole. Zero level of customer service. My driver missed my stop and continued driving for over an hour before turning around. I asked how long we will proceed in the wrong direction and i was told to be quiet. The drivers name was tonya she was rude to other customers as well. Urine was flooding out of the bathroom onto the feet of other passengers. A 2 and a half hour trip took over 6 hours to get to my destination leading me to miss my flight and not see my parents for the weekend. Greyhound lacks any empathy for customers. I wouldn't even ask customers for a survey if i ran this shitty business because you are asking to get a horrible review I've never seen a customer satisfied with your services before. Drove over a hour to the bus station to find out that they wouldnt let her board. Claiming she can only travel during daylight hours, and no trips over 8 hours.... She has done this same exact trip 3 times before with no problems. Now greyhound is stating no refund... After not letting her board... Now not refunding my $150 either.... I wouldn't even give this station a single star. Very horrible TSA like experience. Before re-boarding the same bus to continue the trip you get searched by a security guard (almost like TSA airport experience). The guard confiscated my little Gerber multitool key chain (which I wasn't too happy about). The key chain was located in one of the compartments of my 5.11 hand bag. I guess the guard felt good that he found illegal contraband. I felt like patting him on his back saying great job you now everyone on the bus is safe from this key chain. So the search continues and this guard goes through "almost all" of the other compartments checking to see if he can locate anything else. He even opened up one empty compartment twice (the same compartment I keep my handgun in). Anyways he continued on and now couldn't remember which one he looked through and which ones he didn't since he opened up another compartment (one he already checked). Well, I lost my key chain but he did miss 2 full size pocket knives (one of which is a restricted item and a concealed weapon since its an auto opening knife by Benchmade). Furthermore he did miss a mini police baton, police pepper spray, very sharp scissors in my little first aid kit, and one 40 caliber (hollow point) round which I forgot was in the bag. The only thing I was concerned about at this point was my Benchmade knife which is only worth 2 round trip tickets from Washington D.C. to Florida. I transferred the Benchmade from my pocket into my bag while waiting in line to be searched before being cleared to proceed to the boarding area. I purposefully made sure the guard didn't get to the Benchmade. However I was so surprised that the guard didn't get to the other regular knife which was fair game and was in more plain view them the keychain gerber. Wait that's not over yet, after the bag search, the guard made you empty out all of the metal in your pockets and went over you with a metal detector (of course it didn't beep once for me just as I planned). Keep in mind that I was armed my entire trip from D.C. to Florida going there (with proper credentials and I don't mean a CCW). On this return trip I played it safe but was surprised by this negative experience. By the way this is my first and last Greyhound trip I'll ever be taking. Next time I'm just going to rent a car (most convenient for traveling armed), go by Amtrak, or fly (which is not convenient if you bring your firearm because of the steps you have to go through in order to travel with it). read more

By far the WORST, Greyhound station I have been to! They are not at ALL clear about any of there policies. Luther for one is the most incompetent employee I have ever dealt with in my life. You need to find a way to be 100% clear on the policy for baggage I was charged $15 for a second suitcase and wasn't notified of that PROPERLY until 5 minutes before I was about to start a 26 hour bus ride! How the hell does that even happen! He was incredibly rude and yes I was rude right back because this is horrible service on Greyhounds part and his! Be completely specific when letting riders know about tags for their baggage and what the fee will be! The only money I had was used to pay for me to take MY things with me ! That's complete bull! I will NOT be riding with Greyhound after this and any other problems that arise on this trip I WILL DEMAND a FULL REFUND! Make sure your "employees" are all on the same page and execute their explanation of procedures in a clear way for riders to understand because this was absolute nonsense. This location gives all of Greyhound a bad name and as I said I will not continue riding. I am fed up with this bus line, I'd rather ride a freaking bike than deal with this crap! I would have preferred to give this place 0 stars. I have never had such terrible service in a transportation place as I have had here. Everyone was extremely rude and I felt like I was a child who was being scolded in elementary school. The driver was asking for different information from every rider and when my friend got up front and didn't have her ID he proceeded to yell and wave her ticket in her face as she pulled out her ID. I asked him to not be so rude to her as it was unnecessary and she was doing as he asked and getting her ID out. He continued to yell at her and my other friend in front of me and get in their face with neither of them arguing with him only complying. When I got up he threatened to not let me on the bus and suggested I not tell him how to act towards people. He then made me stand to the side until he felt I should be allowed on. This type of service when not instigated by one of us is completely uncalled for especially when boarding a bus at three in the morning. The service at the Jacksonville station which I described above was the worst out of all the stops; however, none of the other stops had any employees with manners either. Overall a terrible experience and I can guarantee I will never ride a greyhound bus again. read more
