BE CAREFUL, this location does not honor will call tickets.
On December 12, I bought a will call ticket online for a trip from Daytona to Ft Pierce. The system sent an email with a confirmation number and I thought everything was good.
But when I showed up Sunday, the agent behind the desk told me there was no ticket at the station. I showed her the email on my phone from Greyhound with the confirmation number. She told me the system said the ticket had been printed out. I told her I had not printed the ticket - that I was just planning to travel on the will call ticket.
The agent said she would get in touch with the owner and see what could be done. I went to lunch and she said she would call me.
An hour and a half later, I came back to the station (no phone call while I was gone). She put me on the phone with someone claiming to be the station owner, who instead of asking what was wrong, immediately started in about policy - how if the ticket was printed they could not reissue. I explained I just wanted to travel and again, that I never printed the ticket. She interrupted me with the "policy" lecture again, and when she was done I said "What about a refund?" She then told me that I could call the main 800 number for Greyhound and that they might review the case and give me a refund.
At that point I got mad. I told the "owner" that she could make it right, or I could contact Amex and let them know that the station was not honoring my will call ticket and let them handle it. She invited me to be her guest.
In frustration, I tossed the station's cordless phone, underhanded, about 18 inches onto the desk. The agent immediately went nuts and the first words out of her mouth were, and I quote verbatim, "GET THE *FUCK* OUT OF MY STATION."
So I left, but not before the agent screamed a few more choice words and something to the effect that "IT'S NOT OUR FAULT".
Before I had been in the car 30 seconds, I got a call from the owner, who let me know that the police had my number and were tracking my phone and would be to the station right away, and that I should leave the station immediately. I assured her I was leaving, and wished her a nice day.
If you *must* travel Greyhound, don't use the Daytona station.
If you have no other choice, don't use will call tickets, these people are not keen on the whole customer service thing, and if they can't figure out how to do it right, it will be your problem. read more
