Well I finally rode the bus myself and this is not something I will do again. It's after midnight and bus has departed Richmond to " refuel". How is this possible after driving only 2 hours after arriving late in Raleigh ? The worst part about this station is there is no communication about anything. About arrival times, why the bus is departing with our luggage ? I honestly want a full refund and to go back home. I regret not driving to New York myself. Peace of mind is worth the toll costs, terrible drivers, traffic and gas station stops. This is joke. All of the stations are filthy and run down. How can they charge $80 for a ticket ? Greyhound will not get a penny from me again. I'm glad I booked the Chinese panda bus for my return.

They don't love you like that. They don't communicate delays nor cancellations and show ZERO urgency.

I was lost, several attendents plus drivers fished me out. Thank you!

My bus was late from another transfer city due to weather, and I missed my transfer in Raleigh, along with several other passengers.

GoRaleigh has made great strides to improve in the past couple of years since I started living in…read morethe city. I do not have a car, so I've had to depend on public transportation and ride-sharing. A majority of the time, it's great. It's efficient, I get to where I need to go in a timely manner (for a bus system) and the drivers are usually quite friendly. I want to preface by saying I enjoy taking the bus, and will continue to do so, as it is reliable and continues to get better as the funding comes in. As with many public services, it's not perfect. There are times the bus is a little too early, or significantly late, however that is not a consistent issue and may depend on the route you take or who your driver is, or if they needed to stop for a significant amount of time to strap in a passenger in a wheelchair. Some drivers are less friendly than others. We all have our bad days, so I get it. Less acceptable, however, are instances where the bus doesn't show up at all. These things do happen, though extremely infrequent, and it's probably due to a freak emergency; I wouldn't know, because they don't report it on their website or TransLoc app when a bus is down. The only other recurring issue (which I have brought up to their customer service) is that some of their buses have trouble reading the 'smart card', and it's a gamble if your bus driver will understand that it's their bus' NFC reader that needs to be rebooted, or if they'll assume you're trying to swindle them. That will depend on the driver, and thankfully it's become an exceedingly rare occurrence as they switch over to newer tech. Those hiccups aside, GoRaleigh is a fairly efficient system, and it's been dependable enough to get me to work and back with few issues. Raleigh has been working hard to improve it's public transportation, and it shows. I hope that the problems I have mentioned are further worked on and ironed out. It can't be perfect, but they can definitely continue to work on commanding a tightly run ship with higher standards. Bus driving isn't an easy job, but that's why they need to hire the best of the best to ensure efficiency. Had the issues I mentioned not been so prevalent, I would have issued 5 stars. I hope in 2020, I will be able to amend my review to reflect their expected and anticipated improvements.

I am currently on the number six that didn't let me off at my stop at Crabtree, a designated transfer stop. The driver let one passenger off, and then closed the doors and I I asked why I couldn't get off. That's when some gross frumpy disgusting PASSENGER ASKED ME WHY I DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE HIS REQUEST... I said it was probably because he didn't work here. Driver who kicked off some little girls for vaping did nothing for me. Also skipped my stop at Crabtree bc of some blue lights.. Missed family dinner for no reason...
