They are fantastic people to work with, are the most fair and honest contractors, and they do a beautiful job at building a home. My husband and I built our dream home and they made everything about it just perfect! I would build a home with them again and again! I highly recommend them. About the negative review - don't believe a word of it. That is the person that purchased our dream home from us and she is...difficult. To correct or expand on a few details: I personally have emails where I provided her paint colors for the house. Extras of the flooring and materials were *not* flooded in the garage during the hurricane; they were safely tucked in the attic, a fact I also shared with her. They still owe us overpaid property taxes from closing but she refuses to pay us (another fact I can back up in emails). Karla had no obligation to "fix" items that weren't even a real issue, yet she still sent someone to the house to fix small things - for free. And yet, somehow a negative review exists. It's really a sad situation given that Savannah did more than what they were obligated to do, yet they're getting a negative review from it. I hope the facts from the other side of the story are helpful. I highly recommend them if you're looking to do a remodel or build a new home. You won't find more stand up people to work with.

I had Advanced Home Exteriors replace the siding on my home, as well as the exterior doors. Out of…read more3 bids, theirs was the most reasonable, plus I saw that they had a history of good reviews and had also done good work for a friend. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of installation of the siding -- Hardie board underlain by 3/4" strandboard, with sealant and painting. The precision of assembly was quite good, and a considerable improvement in strength and durability over the original siding. Likewise, the doors were installed with good precision, and they function well. I was less impressed with the finer painting of the doors. The basic contract included only exterior painting of the doors in the same color as the exterior of the house. We wanted a different colored door, plus we wanted to have the interiors of the doors painted, as well as the addition and painting of corresponding trim (doors have 2 sides). This was all coordinated directly with the project supervisor for an additional fee. This additional work was mostly completed on the final day of the project, and appeared to be a rush job. The trim was added with rough jointing, and the painting around the doors was amateurish with much overpainting of adjacent surfaces. I had to subsequently revise the painting myself to achieve an adequate quality. Overall, the work on the exterior siding and door installation was excellent, and I highly reccommend Advanced Home Exteriors for this. Finer painting about the doors was a weaker area, and I'm knocking off a star for that.
