They have a large community building which was open for people to use the restroom. They have two play structures and a swing set, all set atop a squish foamesq material. There is also a basketball court and a large dog park. Parking was easy, it seemed like most people had walked or rode their bike there, they are in the middle of a neighborhood and a Greenway stop. One play structure was designed for kids aged 2-5 and the other was for older kids. My son loved the baby swings! We will definitely head back to this playground again soon.

There's a large covered picnic area capable to seat 36-60ppl with 5 tables, 2 grills, $9/hour to rent but no electricity (Mami Nora's is down the street, so you could take your meal to go and eat it outdoors here!) The park includes a neighborhood center with a meeting room large enough to hold 85 people, rentable for $50/hour (which includes warming kitchen, tables and chairs). Overall, it's a good park, it seems to be a popular place to park and eat lunch on weekdays and a safe place to park and utilize the greenway.

There is a train ride through the park with all sorts of lights and Christmas displays. There are numerous free activities and crafts for kids of all ages. There is even a gorgeous carousel ride that seats many. It doesn't hurt that it is inside so you can warm up from the chilly outside. There is even remote parking with comfy buses that will take you to and from the parking lot and the park. It is a great experience and our grandkids ( and grandparents) have such a great time.

This huge indoor playground is located in the Norris Park area in Apex. The playground is designed for infants up to 12-year-olds. When we got there about 945 on a Tuesday morning, there were only two other people. We were forewarned that a field trip group would be arriving at 10:15. Even when the group arrived, because of the large space, it didn't feel crowded. There are lots of mazes with hidden play areas...activities for both gross and fine motor skills. They also have assorted snacks and drinks available for purchase. This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours or even longer. The kids had a blast and us adults who accompanied them did as well!

Honestly I was going to give this place a 5 because I love it so much but the restrooms were looking pretty neglected today. Lots of things to do on the playground including a sandbox, 3 toddler slides, and 3 large slides, lots of climbing and spinning equipment too! It's right next to Crabtree creek trail which links onto a greenway. There are also tennis courts and plenty of parking spaces in the lot.

They have a great sand area with diggers and a seesaw. They have a decent sized area of slides and climbing structures, as well as a spinning chair and a spinning swing type thing. Certainly some unique stuff compared to some parks. They have plenty of shade over the playground and covered picnic areas. The greenway access is also right by the playground. It's a pretty steep hill, so if that isn't your thing I wouldn't plan to take that walk. It's quite pretty in the middle of the trees. Not a lot of mask wearing on the playground, but we are usually able to keep somewhat of a distance.

They've also got these cement (or some sort of stone anyway) tables and chairs that are built into the ground. They are great for stopping to chill and have a snack or for playing chess. One of my favorite things about this park is that the big kids section and younger kids playground are pretty well separated as well as fenced in so you don't need to worry about your toddler running off and disappearing. The toilet here is pretty crap ngl but hey, at least they have a toilet st all. Look out for the birds in the summer. They will stare you down and follow you like you're treading on their turf and it's pretty damn intimidating haha RUN!!!
