So, as the employee is stunned that I don't know ANYONE in town to install it for me, a fellow customer walks up. He asks what I need--and says that he can replace it for me quick and easy. Really?? are you sure!!?? So, he goes to his truck, pulls out his tools, and proceeds to change my light for me. My faith in Wacoans is instantly renewed. After much begging, he let's me buy him a tea from inside as thanks... He then says "it was no big deal. I own an auto repair shop nearby." So, naturally, I ask for his contact info....I am so so impressed with his kindness and if when I need ANYTHING for my car, Charles will be the first one I contact. Unfortunately, we picked it up after hours on a Friday afternoon, so he contacted the shop first thing the following Monday morning to let them know it wasn't fixed. They had us bring it back in, but wanted more money to then fix a different part. That is when my husband wanted to talk to the owner about why they fixed the other part in the first place and why they were charging so much more. Due to the owner's attitude and combativeness, we were reluctant to leave our car there any longer and just picked it up. We asked for the part that had been replaced because my husband wondered if it was really bad or they just fixed the wrong thing. Conveniently, they didn't have the part to give us.

On the day of the appointment, he cancelled 20 minutes AFTER he was supposed to arrive. I attempted to call him multiple times at least 3 hours before the appointment and on the day of the appointment. I'm very disappointed in the professionalism shown. If you're no longer available, please inform me of that as soon as possible. Don't wait until after the appointment to notify me that you will no longer be coming.

Regardless of how fast these people can change a tire, it'll may still take a bit for them to drive out to you. We were 20 minutes out of Waco and it took about 35-40 minutes for our person to show up. I'm not sure how many people actually work here since the person who took my call was also the person to come change our tire. I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.
