But Gridley PT and Sports Medicine is an amazing place with fantastic personnel - they truly saved me from what I had been living with for over a year. Lisa- the wonderful young lady in charge immediately could see what a major source of my aches and pain were from. She is so in tune with her clients, perceptive, and sincerely caring. At some point I ended up working with each of the therapists during my sessions there and they are all great. Personable in a genuine way which I could see with everyone who came there for help. And they love their jobs- you can tell- they enjoy each other and it makes the environment way more fun to go to than you might expect. If you need therapy you will not regret getting the help from this outstanding crew.

Sad! We got a flyer at my sons school advertising a play put on by YMCA - Free for kids to…read moreparticipate in! We practiced songs all week. My kids were SO EXCITED! We went to the auditions and filled out the paperwork and even helped set up as we had arrived early. My kids auditioned. We came back the following Monday to find... They SAY it's free but then make you sign a paper promising to sell 10 tickets and 2 advertisements per child (valued at $150) and volunteer 10 hours. THEY DIDN'T MENTION THIS IN THE FLIER OR IN THE PAPERWORK FOR THE AUDITIONS OR AT ANY TIME DURING THE AUDITION OR AFTER - until the parents meeting. I have 2 children. We just moved here 1.5 years ago. We cannot sell 20 tickets and 4 business ads. Or pay $300. NOR do I want my children used in some kind of pyramid money making scheme for YMCA. If they wanted money they should have just said so up front. We left with both of my children in tears. You can scam adults. That just makes you bad people. But to HURT KIDS?!? How do you sleep?

I started working with Autumn just over a month ago. It has really made a difference. I'm…read morestronger, have more stamina, and balance. I should tell you all I'm over weight, and have health issues including a bad ankle and knee, and I really don't like to exercise. Why am I giving this rating. Several reasons. 1. I love that Autumn comes to my house so I don't have to do this in public. 2. She works with my disability, i feel like I'm getting physical therapy in addition to a good physical workout. And 3, she pushes me, since i don't like to exercise, it is easy to not push myself, Autumn, has learned me and knows I need to be pushed past my comfort zone. I'm looking forward to really getting stronger and healthier, and Autumn will have a big piece of why this will happen. Thanks Autumn.

I decided I wanted to go into my 60's (just around the corner in 2023) being the "best me" that I could be so I started taking a Pilates class at my HOA. Autumn was the Pilates instructor and from the beginning, I really liked her approach to fitness. I've always felt that fitness includes mind, body and soul and that's what Autumn was saying as well. When I found out that Autumn was a certified personal trainer and she had received permission from the HOA to train homeowners in the HOA fitness center, I was all in! I started as a client with Autumn in September 2022. Autumn pays particular attention to your form which I really appreciate. She is very knowledgeable and patient as I'm sure I've asked the same questions over and over. Looking back over my journey, I see that Autumn started me off with some basic "building blocks" that have evolved over time. The starting exercises that I thought were so difficult have become easier. I feel better in body, stronger and moving better. I have found that regular exercise is also a great stress reliever. Autumn has been fun to work with, there is a lot of work but also a lot of laughter. I enjoy my weekly hour with Autumn. Since Autumn is "mobile" and not tied to a particular gym, Autumn travels out to meet with my Mom who is 85 years old. My Mom has limited mobility and with Autumn's help, is getting stronger. I really appreciate Autumn and can't say enough good things about her. This has been an awesome journey, one that I will stick with and continue to achieve things I didn't think was possible. He is very patient and communicative. He has really made Venus come out of her shell. And I am so excited to see her more confident.
