A friend gave a 10+ rating on Dr Ben Griffes back in 1998. I had just retired and had a load of projects to do. That led to my meeting Ben within a couple of months. After a few appointments I was feeling great and back to my projects. Then 4 to 6 months later, I was back again. Ben fixed me up and I was good until the next time. After a couple of years of this, Ben suggested I consider a maintenance program, where I would come in once a month and get adjusted. Considering that I was already going in 6 to 8 time a year in pain, this seemed like a good idea. So we tried it out. The only change we've made in 15 years is that Ben suggested that we increase the time interval to every 2 months (probably because I was getting too old to be of much danger to myself). Insurance pays for some of the expense and I pay the balance. My portion is less than $200 a year for the 6 visits. No question, DR GRIFFES IS THE BEST INVESTMENT I'VE EVER MADE. Prior to meeting Ben, I had been to 5 or 6 other Chiropractors. Although I believe they were all competent, I always felt like a number and their techniques varied from nothing to brutal. Not so with Ben, he's personable and interested in you, he is careful and any discomfort is minimal. He also is knowledgeable in deep tissue massage, which is a great compliment to his practice. In addition, he has used a maneuver to temporarily eliminate a serious case of Vertigo which my Internist had diagnosed but did nothing about. I don't usually write reviews, but Dr. Griffes was such a great help to me after my car accident that I felt his care warranted writing a review. Dr. Ben's approach and techniques, coupled with his knowledge truly helped me heal. Not only did he spend quality time with me during each session, but made it a point to ask me "how I was", and what my problem area's were, and what I could do after I left our session to help promote my healing. Dr. Ben is a true blessing to my entire family! Over 10 years ago I was diagnosed with a gluteal muscle tear. After seeking care and therapy the pain became worse. I could not take another treatment! I've been coming to Dr. Griffes for over 10 years. He is wonderful. He's helped me to strengthen and protect my knees and my back.
