Consequently, through my Pilates instructor I found Dr. Aaron and Flintridge Family chiropractic office with hope that he could help me. After an extensive consultation, x-rays and an agreed-upon treatment plan I dedicated myself to three visits per week for two-three months. The results of my visits and treatment so far have been nothing short of extraordinary. Originally, I came to him for acupuncture in desperation after my car accident where my herniated disc and pinched nerves caused pain, numbness and tingling (see below for full description of my issues). After assessing my condition, Dr. Lee knew I would need more, so he suggested acupuncture, EMS therapy, and spinal decompression machine. Even though my insurance only covered acupuncture, he gave me a great deal on the other treatments to make sure I could get better. He also added massage, red light therapy AND ultrasound therapy FREE OF CHARGE. Total value of all these treatments at other places I called were 3-4x more!! I was kind of skeptical, but DESPERATE. Within 3 weeks, I got more relief from his treatments than the 2 YEARS IN PT!! WHAT THE HELLY! Within 6 weeks, I regained the strength in my hands and severely reduced pain/numbness. I also used to take a ton of medications for the pain and nerve issues... after 2 months, I was off ALL MEDS! Talk about life-saver. All my symptoms are mostly gone now and I continue to go for preventive maintenance (my job puts me at risk for worsening spine and nerve problems). I asked on the phone if they accept my insurance, and the reply was "the doctor will go over that eith you at the appointment." That should have scared me off, but I was in pain and desperate. At my appointment everyone was really nice, the doctor was really knowledgeable and took x-rays. They asked me to come back in an hour to go over the x-rays and talk about treatment. So I hung around nearby, and when I came back was shows the x-rays and then talked to about an out of pocket treatment plan for upwards of $3000. My insurance fully cover's chiropractor visits. And I'm in no position to pay that out of pocket. So not only did they waste 3 hours of time, I left STILL in pain, and it was the end of the work day so I couldn't even go somewhere else to get an adjustment. Absolutely do not go unless you want to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket.
