We've been talking to people about our estate for a while and just couldn't find the right person to do it (we probably waited too long). Tom was the perfect person. He was thorough and asked questions that no other attorney brought up. He didn't rush, he was EXTREMELY detail oriented. We had a plan that paid for it through work, but paid a small fee for additional tax planning, which was well worth the money. He provided important guidance. We were making some critical errors in our life insurance policies and other financial accounts. Definitely recommend. read more

I felt the amount requested for preparing a simple probate petition was excessive, and even the judge agreed the fee should be reduced. As a parent trying to protect my daughter's inheritance, it was upsetting to feel as though her estate was being depleted by unnecessary legal costs. Our original attorney, Kevin Childress, stated he was overloaded with cases and transferred us to Mr. Underwood. When I expressed concerns about the fees, it was implied that I was seeking free services, which was never the case. I simply wanted fair and reasonable representation. After receiving payment from my daughter's estate on two separate occasions, Mr. Underwood later chose to withdraw from representing us. Attempts to communicate directly were unsuccessful, and I was instead referred to another attorney, Danielle Woods. Overall, this experience left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I hope others do their research carefully before retaining this firm's services.

Mike Fearnley and Apperson Crump PLC allowed the sale of the property without properly notifying me that there was a current hazardous lien on the property, due to the fact this property was used to manufacture METH (Methamphetamine). This information was intentionally omitted. I was denied my refinance by Avalon Capital strictly on the basis, that the property was used as a meth lab, and it has a hazardous lien on the property assessed by the city. This prevented me from making the necessary improvements on my home and cause further deterioration of my property, which will require additional monies to correct. Let this be a warning. If you are an out of state investor, beware! These people are poor communicators and guaranteed to potentially cost you money due to their poor oversight and lack of due diligence.

I was almost always the one reaching out for updates, often waiting days or even weeks for a response. There was very little proactive communication from the firm. I was also not properly briefed or coached before my Zoom court appearance, which left me feeling unprepared during an important moment in my case. Additionally, the signing of my divorce decree took longer than expected with no clear updates or explanation provided along the way. After the divorce was finalized, I was instructed by their office to wait until June before taking action regarding my ex-husband's failure to pay court-ordered alimony. I followed their guidance, documented everything, and kept them updated. However, when June arrived, I was then told the firm no longer handles post-divorce matters and would not assist further despite previously indicating they would move forward with enforcement. This lack of follow-through and communication put me in a difficult position after relying on their advice. Overall, the experience was frustrating and left me feeling unsupported during a very important process. I would not recommend this firm to anyone who expects consistent communication, preparation, and follow-through.

I used this staffing agency a few years ago after tossing around the idea of becoming a substitute…read moreteacher, after contacting the local Kelly staffing agency in Memphis I was told I would have to go thru this particular location in order to become a substitute teacher. A bit difficult to get through to them on the phone but more on that later. After finally getting a live person on the phone I was able to get the lowdown on becoming a substitute teacher, a bachelor's degree didn't matter what in, lucky for me I just happen to have two (smile). After reading, signing and sending some documents back and forth, and completing an online prerequisite course, I found myself in a one day orientation course. The entire process was handled very professional and smooth the hardest part was getting a live person on the phone, but once I showed up for orientation I figured out why, this office is only staffed with a total of two people, answering phones in between orientation and trying to fill daily substitution assignments, so kudos to those two ladies, well done considering the workload.
