I can work on a car doing the regular stuff and needed my water pump replaced as I was swamped at work. They said they'd get right on it so that was perfect. I drive an 06 gto and I did some work on the heads earlier and I got a strange phone call. I went up there and this mechanic said you have a cracked head that's why you're running hot. ( I had a leak and it was going out but wasn't running hot). I asked did you run a compression test and can I see if the oil has gotten into the coolant? He presented to me on a torn off bottom sheet of legal pad paper they would send it to some shop in rockingham and it was 2600.00 it was just written down with a guy's name a phone number and 2600.00 I told them they were crazy and just put on the water pump and I'll get my car outta there. Charged a dialysis fee of like 90 bucks on something I never asked them to do. What was happening is he was steering people to I assume his buddy and hoping like many folks they trust thier mechanics and just do what they say. I refused to pay the dialysis fee showed the manager the torn off peice of paper with 2600.00 etc and just it was like nothing no big deal. This is fraud! God only knows how many folks get bamboozled. Never again.

Very poor service. Father in law bought a new Equinox and paid cash for it. It took the dealer 8…read morehours to complete this sale while they made a 90 year old man sit around in an office and wait. Then to beat it all the new tag never arrived at his home and a day before the temporary tag expired my wife called about it and Dieffenbach said 'we have your new tag here'. Dieffenbach never called to say come and pick up your tag. I've never been treated so poorly by a car dealership. Edit: 10/31/17 Dieffenbach has responded to my concerns in a positive manner and they have corrected the issues.

On a recent trip to the beach for vacation, they saved my butt and probably my marriage by renting me an SUV for the week after I miscalculated with the charging times on my Nissan Leaf. They bent over backward to accommodate me and my wife and did it all with a friendly hand shake and a smile. A special thanks goes out to Billy in the service department who made sure our car was fully charged while we were away at the ocean and ready to drive when we came back to drop it off. Totally above and beyond what I expect from customer service. I cannot recommend the staff here enough, if they were closer to my home in Greensboro, I'd be going here for all my service needs. I drove in about 100 miles to buy a pre-owned vehicle because I couldn't find a good one locally…read more(We wanted a particular vehicle with low mileage). I did all of my negotiating online and asked Heather a LOT of questions and she was very gracious despite this. I ended up with a very competitive price for my vehicle. I knew a lot about the vehicle before purchasing because I ran its VIN through all of the free checks, the government checks, and eventually paid for a full report before purchasing. That being said, I still asked them about the vehicle's service records, etc. and everything they told me was backed up by the vehicle's history, so they were very forthcoming. Even took it to a local mechanic for a once-over and they said everything looked great. Steve "Bowtie" ended up actually demoing and selling us the car and he was also very friendly and accommodating. I had two kids with me on a boring road trip to buy a boring car at a boring dealership and my little girl was losing. her. sh!t by the time we were signing our paperwork (we left our house at 10 & left the dealership at around 5:30) and everyone was pretty chill about our insane ape-child & my elevating befrazzlement. That is, except the finance lady when we finally went to sign. She was dour the entire time until we were walking out the door. I understand it was close to quittin' time and my kid was insane but it wasn't a continuation of the friendly service we'd experienced throughout the process. That's my only complaint and I'd only knock down a 1/2 star for that, but I can't do 1/2 star so I'll leave it at 5. Unlike many car dealerships, I never felt pressured into purchasing or hassled in any way.
