I am updating my review, which I posted last night. Without any notice to me, Griffin's created a beautiful flower arrangement and delivered it this morning to my friend. She called me right away because she was a little confused as to why she received another arrangement. I explained to her what had happened with the previous order. She said although the first arrangement was pretty, she loves this one because it has her favorite flowers in it...carnations and roses. She also said that if she needs flowers, she would definitely order from Griffin's. They definitely went out of their way to see that she had a beautiful arrangement. I was not satisfied with Griffin's Floral Design. I was hoping to buy a beautiful arrangement for my wife however they had no lilies. I purchased the Fair Maiden arrangement which was made after the transaction. The arrangement was embarrassing to give to her as most of the flowers were ripped and wilted in an overly sized vase. I replaced with a smaller one which helped some but definitely not worth the price. This will be my last time going to Griffin's. Stick to the wine! read more

This flower shop saved me the day before Mother's Day when a different florist cancelled my order unexpectedly. This shop was lovely to work with and delivered a beautiful orchid to my Mother the very next day! I will always use them from now on! read more

I placed an order over the phone for a funeral planter. As it turned out there was a misunderstanding with the order and I was originally about to give the business a nasty review. However after contacting the manager, we had a very pleasant conversation and since I had sent an e-mail prior to the call she had already adjusted the charge on my card to make up for the error. Living in Oregon, I went online to find a florist to deliver flowers for my sister-in-laws birthday. I stumbled on Griffin's and am SO glad I did! The flower arrangement was absolutely beautiful. Stunning! The flowers weren't just gorgeous but I ordered them last night and they delivered this morning. I highly recommend Griffin's! Wow!! Oh, I didn't get an expensive arrangement either. Ordered flowers for a funeral - nice job and they arrived on time. Can's offer much else regarding a florist. It is one of those places where you live nearby and you possibly use them as a "get out of jail free" card or you call out of the blue for a funeral. My case was the later and I loved the quality of the basket: it was done on time and the price was fair. read more

I was looking for a florist in Newark Ohio. I needed flowers for a funeral service on Friday, March 8. We came into the shop late in the day. I was greeted with a very nice woman, we told her what we were looking for. She showed us all the flower arrangements, we didn't see what we were looking for at that time. So we told her what we wanted and she took us into the refrigerator. Then she pulled out some items and give us a choice of which ones we liked best. So we paid for the flowers and left. This florist was very discourteous, I ordered a bouquet for a friend whose Father passed away. The picture online does not look ANYthing like what was delivered. I paid a lot for it, and they sent carnations, not roses, cali-lillies, and sunflowers as advertised. The employee at the store was rude and had a bad attitude and lots of inadequate excuses. I placed my order online clearly listing the delivery address and was given the appropriate fee for delivery of my order. Then I get a call the next day and before they will deliver my flowers they tell me it is an additional $10. I ask the girl on the phone to deliver it to an address that is clearly within city limits and am told it is still an additional $10 even though she says they usually only charge 10.99 for delivery- I'm now supposed to pay $20. When I question this I hear the lady in the background tell her that the charge is the same for either address even though that is clearly not what they advertised online! No more $$$ flower orders for them from me! This was my fourth flower order in the past several months too! read more

This is the 2nd time I have used this florist. The first was for my wedding. I ordered the flowers at a distance from CA and they were exactly what I wanted. The 2nd was for my father in law's funeral. I wanted something special, unique, and symbolic that felt more like him than the ones I found online. I called, they were compassionate and caring. They listened and created flowers that were perfect. They sent me a photo for approval and they arrived on time at the church for the service.
