It will soon be a month of living here and I had such a wonderful experience with the maintenance service! David, the Maintenance Technician, came to fix my sink and he immediately identified the problem. To my amazement, he had the replacement part ready on-site! The repair was completed with such care and proficiency. What really stood out was how seamless and efficient the process was. I'm used to waiting a week or more for replacement parts, so having it taken care of right away was such a relief. It really shows the dedication and preparedness of the maintenance crew. The management staff and maintenance team clearly care about the residents here at Griffis Cherry Creek. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. This place although it has nice first impression, has a serious bug problem that is not being taken serious by the staff. We have been living a real life nightmare at this apartment and no one is taking action or responsibility. We wake up and arrive home to about a dozen bugs, dead and alive DAILY! when having an ongoing issue with noise from neighbors, instead of handling it, the leasing team suggested i call law enforcement on young women who don't speak english. the noise was hellish but the suggestion that i put them at risk of police brutality over it was worse. i ended up buying my lease out over it. if you rent here, just be careful about where your unit is for noise and bug reasons. read more

It was a really delightful tour. My partner Perry and I have been looking for somewhere that is right for us and here is why we feel so excited about GHC. The virtual kiosk let us essentially tour a few apartments before having to chat with anyone. We had lots of questions it got out of the way for us and made our conversation with the folks working here that much more informative. The lobby is really delightful, not to mention offers a tasty latte! (p.s. the coffee machine has no disposable cups in GHC's commitment to reducing waste - love! And is stationed next to a dog treat station - double love love!!) The aesthetic of the lobby carried through to the amenities and units. We weren't sure if we were snagging someones spot when we parked but they have an open parking plan we realized which we prefer, we enjoy leveraging our good karma on the best spot! With living here for over two years, I can't express how thankful I've been with having a team such as, Aidan, Cameron, Tristin, Josh & Krystan. They truly go above and beyond in everything they do at this community. From creating events and gathering the community together, to updating us with community wide maintenance issues to getting service request done in a professional way. They truly are some of the most communicating, professional, and genuine people who have helped make my experience the absolute best. In every situation, they are very understanding and willing to work with each person and whatever situation they may be in. If you're looking for a community that you enjoy the amenities, Customer Service, and hope to truly fall in love with, you have to definitely give Griffis Cherry Creek that opportunity! We had a couple of things go wrong all at once and we had to put 3 tickets into maintenance. Nelson showed up maybe 2 hours later to help. He was so kind and friendly and even went above and beyond to clean out our laundry vents. He made sure to address every concern we had and explained everything really well. We have lived here for almost 4 years and the maintenance team here has always been lovely. I would also like to add that the leasing team in the front office are always friendly and willing to help. Sometimes they will know what we need before we even show up to ask. All around a good experience. read more

I've lived at Griffis Cherry Creek for 2 years and overall my experience has been mostly positive, but definitely have my concerns and greviances. Positive: Fairly nice apartments overall, some are more renovated than others, but nice appliances, flooring, cabinetry (except they painted the inside so my dishes stick and I'm constantly peeling paint flecks off of them), etc. The grounds are mostly nice. The common areas are pretty and mostly well maintained. The other tenants that I've met are all nice (except that I can smell everyone's smoke and pot in the hallways even though it's a nonsmoking building) Maintenance and management are quick to respond. I love the dog park, I just wish it got some sunlight to dry it out quicker. Location is great. Close to Target, Starbucks, and Chickfila, but also next to nice neighborhoods and the cherry creek bike path (and mall). Negative: Packages are constantly stolen/missing. I can't even count how many I've lost. Even using Fetch (which is required) I've had packages stolen off my step within 30 mins of delivery. Fetch itself can be a big pain. If you put your actual address, it might be on your door, it might be in the lobby, it might be by the front side door, it might be in your mailbox, it might have been there but is now stolen, who knows. Noise from neighbors can be a bit much. I've gotten fairly lucky and had mostly quiet neighbors but had one neighbor yelling obscenities frequently (a video and email to management definitely helped with that one) but now I live below someone extremely heavy footed who I can trace his every step. It's really fun when he decides to have some bed shaking good times ‍. I can easily hear music (and the occasional alarm clock) from my neighbors too though I've had worse. There's also constant construction noise outside but obviously management can't fix that, just know it's there, at 7am, every day. When I first moved here they redid the amenities so things were closed FOREVER! That plus covid closures meant I couldn't enjoy the amenities for a long time. They claim we don't pay for amenities but if we didn't have them, rent would be cheaper so, ok sure. They are nice amenities but seem to break a lot. Parking is convenient and always available but costs $75 a month on top of rent and things are always broken in to. I've luckily not had my car stolen like others but did have my chained up bike stolen along with everyone else's. Word to the wise, keep your bike in your apartment if you want to keep it. If I'm paying that much to park, I wish it was more secure somehow. (Re: cameras would be nice). The occasional patrol of an office clearly doesn't help much. My biggest issue is how much my rent increased. I've lived in apartments for half my life so I get how it works, but mine was raised by $200 (a 14% increase, well above the national average of 2-5%) and when asked about it, the response I got from management was something along the lines of how I'm actually saving $250 a month from what the market value of it is but you're welcome to move. Oh and if I want to extend a month while looking to buy/move, that'll be an extra $700+ more than your already higher new rent. We all know you're going to raise the rent but maybe don't take advantage of your tenants just because you're can. My place is nice, but not THAT nice. Especially after all the fees. read more

They were prompt, extremely polite, and when I asked about an additional issue outside of my original maintenance request, they didn't hesitate to jump in and help. Over promise, under deliver is the running theme here. I'm listing the pros and cons of this place. If this place was a "luxury apartment" then I'm Britney Spears. Pros: - good location - good maintenance staff - mostly responsive office staff Cons: - Paper Thin ceilings: One of the first things I asked the manager when we were first looking into this apartment was whether or not we'll be hearing noise from neighbors upstairs. She straight up told me that she's "never had any complaints" (the actual quote); we were thrilled, having come from a slightly more run-down apartment prior with similar experience. That was a make or break for us. We were relatively content with the move-in, until we realized that we live below an elephant(s), whose foot stomps continue to haunt our every waking moment (and slumber). As a resident of this "luxury apartment" (lmao) I shouldn't have to hear or know the upstairs elephant's morning routine or whenever they get up from the couch. The entire apartment shakes whenever they start to walk, including and especially the kitchen. The sound is equivalent to someone jumping up and down right on your head. When we first complained, the office team had the audacity to send someone up to "confirm the noise". Lmao like why would we be lying about it? The most irksome part of this is the blatant lie from the manager, who now basically refuses to do anything about it aside from "sending courtesy emails"; last time I checked, elephants can't read. Oh and let's not forget about their dog. If we're not hearing the elephant stomps, it's the dog barking. So now we're stuck paying $2000/month in this equally crappy apartment when we could've stayed somewhere cheaper for same kind of auditory abuse. This was very disappointing. - Fees: So there's a chunk of fees that is not included with the rent that you'll have to pay for, including electricity for the common area, which is one of the most ridiculous things ever. And no, that's not part of the electricity we use in the apartment. We also already pay for the garage usage (Oh and there are regular break-ins there) and the pet fees, and then we get subjected to these little fees in addition to the already inflated rent prices. Expect to shell out about $400 - 500 extra at this place. - Fetch: this middleman postal service that we're all forced to get adds to yet another one of those little fees that are strangely but not surprisingly not included in the monthly rent for something that we're forced to get. - Roaches: it's only been about a few ( less than 10) that were found from the cracks of the ceiling/walls but we have found them. This is not a luxury apartment. when we first moved in the apartment didn't seem to be completely done. The walls weren't completely done painting, as if they rushed to finish this room. When you run your finger along the wall, some of it would come off. We notified the staff and obviously that wasn't addressed at all. The elevators that are closest to Colorado almost always smell like a combination of vomit and dogs, probably due to the awful amount of dogs in this apartment. It's awful. I first gave this place a C, but right now it's about a D-. Please don't waste your money here. Don't be like us and NOT do a thorough research of the apartment. And don't be fooled by the reviews. I have half a mind to think that they were all pretty much bought. read more

A NEGATIVE 5 star review would be more appropriate. Griffis Cherry Creek is a nightmare of a building to live in. STAY AWAY!! Oddly, a Google review left recently with the same information was deleted from Google's website. I'm not sure how that's possible or legal, but management found a way to remove the honest assessment of a 3+ year tenant willing to share what living at Griffis Cherry Creek truly is. Although prior management from when the building was new was friendly and responsive, the current staff is out of control. Below are pictures of a third-floor apartment and the condition in which it remained for over three weeks. Not $1 in rent rebate will be granted, with their only concession being willing to pay the 1 month electric bill so that the fans could run 24/7, making sleeping nearly impossible. The two incompetent managers who have been approached on numerous occasions, Wesley and Hasson, are rude, arrogant, 100% unwilling to discuss any alternatives, and totally ill-equipped to be in their current positions. What was offered in lieu of the flooded, moldy apartment bathroom was access to a bathroom in a DIFFERENT, UNOCCUPIED APARTMENT for the duration of the repair resulting from a leak on the fifth floor which poured hundreds of gallons of water through the ceiling, the light fixtures, and up from the floor, from the fifth floor down. Having spoken with numerous other tenants in the building and learning that their Google reviews describing their horrendous experiences have also been removed, i'm curious as to how many other people experience the horrific nature of this building. This morning was a new adventure. Prior to this awful experience, arrangements had been made to move to a larger, much more expensive apartment. As incredibly responsible and neat non-smoking, non-pet owning tenants who have been nothing but reasonable and respectful since moving in upon completion of the new building under the original management, the building is charging a move out fee of $175, in addition to a move IN fee of $500 for the right to pay higher rent in a larger apartment. This apartment is being left in immaculate condition, all of which has been documented by photographs, from move-in day through our intended move out. That was supposed to happen today with movers hired. At 7:30 AM there was a ring at the door by the very kind and friendly building handyman, Tom, delivering the news that the new apartment was not yet ready to be occupied. Although there were ample opportunities yesterday for Wesley and/or Hasson to report the news, they left it to the poor handyman who spends his life cleaning up their messes. So now what? It should also be noted that there are frequent car break-ins, storage break-ins, and absolutely no effort to increase security in the building or parking and storage areas. Several other tenants will comment on the fact that, although the building claims to be open from 9 AM to 5 PM, more often than not there is no one available to answer a door or a question, as they by no means keep to those hours. The hot tub can drop 18 inches in water level with endless complaints before finally, after several weeks, having the water refilled. The list of complaints for this building is never ending. I'm sure that this review, also, will be removed, but I will continue to re-post it to give prospective tenants fair warning about the nightmare that they might be considering moving into. If we had it to do over we would steer clear of this building at all costs. read more

Jessica was the ABSOLUTE BEST LEASING AGENT EVER! I highly recommend her! Go straight to her! She was able to get me into my apartment same day and took the best care of me. I could not have asked for a more qualified and super personable experience with the Griffis Cherry Creek property. She is on top of everything and knows everything there is to know. I felt so taken care of and heard. She even stayed super late after her shift ended to get me into my place same day since I came an hour before they closed. And she gave me the sweetest welcome gift bag that was so thoughtful and fed me. I will tell you right now, there is not a leasing agent out there this caring and compassionate. I felt like family the minute I walked into her office. I signed my lease on the same day I toured because of the incredible experience I had. Look no further. She is the one for you! And so is this property. The maintenance team here is also incredible' they literally come same day most days which is unheard of and have everything taken care of when you come home which I love! Half the time packages are stolen. Constant construction, causing courtyard closers, garage parking closed for months at a time. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would! This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at! They charge 75 for the first garage parking then if you have a second car they want to charge you and additional 200! So 275 for two spots in the garage! Many cars have been broken into mine was broken into! You can't park on the side of the building because you will get a ticket! This place has been the most inconvenient! Packages go missing all the time, appliances are dated, surrounding area is subpar, rats in the garage, the hallways smell like garbage all the time which is due to the horrible trash disposal system for residents overflowing all the time. Apartments need an update to trim, counters, etc as our friends in surrounding complexes have much nicer appliances, amenities, and interiors for less money per sqft. I could not be more impressed with the leasing staff and feel confident in my decision to move here. I would like to acknowledge Kacey, especially, as she took time aside from her busy day to ensure I made the correct decision in picking the appropriate unit. Kacey had mentioned to me that it was her first week as an intern, however I was throughly impressed by her professionalism, knowledge and humility. Both Kacey and the leasing staff were more than willing to assist in providing honest and through answers to my questions. Additionally, Kacey was expedited in her communication and follow- up, ensuring that we were kept updated throughout the entire application process. I decided to move into Griffis Cherry Creek site-unseen and was nervous without physically seeing it before I moved in. I have been more than pleased with my choice and the staff and maintenance team have been extremely responsive and welcoming. The location couldn't be better with walkable locations such as Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and the entire Cherry Creek neighborhood. It is also a very dog-friendly place and it has made it a great transition from a house to an apartment for me and my ten yr old pup. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have other internet options in the complex, as I have not had a very strong internet connection through Comcast, which I believe is the only provider for the building. The staff members do a wonderful job at communicating by sending email updates regarding the complex ie when an elevator was down. The complex is clean and up to date. The apartment is very nice, the staff is respectful & respond to all requests in a timely manner. My biggest complaint is the garage parking, it costs $75 for the first vehicle and I believe $125 for the second. There have been numerous reports of things being stolen from people's cars out of the garage, & my car got stolen out of the garage a couple weeks ago. Luckily I have good insurance so doesn't hurt me that much, but it's annoying that you have to pay for a garage that is in fact not secure at all . I've also seen posts from residents getting things stolen in the past, including another resident saying their car got stolen out of the same garage in April ... I feel like our stuff is safer parked on the street ! I've seen tons of people asking that we get more security cameras & better security, & my one complaint about management is they continue to point to the fact that they say it's not secure parking & they can't be held responsible for anything being stolen. Just put up some more cameras & maybe thief's would think twice !! I've looked everywhere on property, I haven't seen 1 camera .. I'm sure their are some hidden somewhere. But usually VISIBLE cameras do a great job at deterring theft ... Also I'm a music lover, but understand we have neighbors so it has to be turned down. We've had our music at a very reasonable level & multiple times have gotten complaints for sound. Should have known with an apartment, but with how new this building is I would have thought the walls would be just a little thicker. That's nothing on the management company at all , & there's nothing they can fix about that, but I just wanted to put it out there in case anyone moving in likes music. Other than those 2 things I do like this place, there's nothing they can fix about the music so that's just something we will have to live with, but put up some more cameras & take initiative about keeping your residents things safe & I'll change this to 5 stars !! read more

I'm always surprised how quickly they come to my apartment after I submit a service request. They can fix anything, and they even help me with the smallest things (that I should be able to do myself...) Stay clear away from Griffis Cherry Creek. They will lure you in with a reasonable rent, but you'll soon find out its not worth it. The building shakes, smells like garbage/dog urine, cars in the garage get broken into (the security cameras don't actually work) and the incompetent on-site staff lies and denies whenever you bring up a concern. All of the amenities have been under construction the entire summer, everyone in the building is upset. The 1-star rating is for the maintenance and janitorial staff, who bust their humps to keep this place livable. BEWARE- The positive reviews you see are fake and posted by friends of the staff. Hands down the best place to live! The location, interior, and amenities are hard to beat. You'll be right on cherry creek and near lots of restaurants and shopping.
