We had issues when someone was at fault and totalled one of our cars, we had issues with the PIP claim, and unfortunately the agent in Texas has not been impressive. Today we realized we made a payment on the SF app for our auto policy; however, we mistakenly put it on one of the life policies in Stephon's office. I immediately called my agent here in Texas, and they told me "there was nothing they could do, maybe I should call the other agent." HELLOOOOO???? WHY NOT HAVE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was very upset and called Stephon's office. I spoke with Bryan who was extremely courteous and let me know a Life Specialist could assist me. AND HERE COMES DONNA CARTWRIGHT to the rescue. I shared my story with Donna, and she immediately advised she would call the Life company and have the payment moved from the policy on the life company to the correct policy on the auto policy. It's extremely difficult to get a hold of his staff and get any customer service. Within the last hour I called his office 3 times to try and move my renter's insurance coverage from my current place to my new place. The first time I called the automated system disconnected me. The second time I called I spoke to a person, who spent 3 minutes looking up my account and then transferred me to another desk where no one picked up and I left a voice mail. And the third time the automated system put me right into a voice mail box. This isn't the first time I've had issues. Adding my landlord's company as a concerned party last year was really challenging as the staff kept getting the names and apartment number wrong. I would choose a different agent.

His son, Peter, who took-over years ago, was very customer-centric in the beginning but had changed his entire business-attitude in recent years. When I asked to remove certain premium-features from my auto-policy, he was very upset and became rude and unprofessional. Basically, he was acting like a A-hole to a customer, telling me that he's in a bad-mood. I don't give a rat's-ass about his emotion and only seek to have him provide a revised quotation on my policy. He failed to do-so, after numerous conversations between myself, Peter and his assistants. On the expiration-date of the policy, he told me to call Nationwide directly. I changed to another insurance-carrier, saving $800 annually while enjoying the same-terms. I did email Nationwide with a complaint about Peter and his lack of business ethics. What's most disturbing still is knowing how Peter had denigrated his late-father's business and memory with his atrocious behaviors and a complete lack of professionalism.
