Hygenist Barbara, too, is confident, calm, gentle but thorough with the cleanings -- and kind. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel a vibrant energy here. There is no drama or anxiety (see my review of Murray Dental), like you can feel at other dental offices. And no one is trying to get you to agree to unneccessary procedures. Dr. Kaufman and his team focus on preventive approaches. A friend recommended this dental group and I, in turn, recommended that two (now) satisfied patients transfer from other offices. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kaufman and his terrific team and will continue to recommend his services to friends and family. He is apparently the dentist that other dentists go to see when they need work done. As a kid, my dentist was really crappy. In college it seemed like the dentist was always trying to get me to do something that was more expensive. Thats not the case with Dr. Kaufman. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and especially the quality of his work. When getting my crowns done he spent in an incredible amount of time getting them to be perfect. I could tell that he cared intensely about the quality of his work, and would simply not let me leave his office without getting things just right. This is the first positive experience I have had with any dentist and I cannot recommend Dr. Kaufman highly enough.

Do yourself a favor and find a good dental group. I have been a patient of this office for almost 20 years. Suddenly, before my vacation, my front tooth broke, and I was afraid to change the office in such a situation, despite the fact that the owner changed. What a mistake! Dr. Gerda works very roughly, as if you are a training dummy, and not a living person. She shifts most of the work to her assistants (for a minute! you pay for the doctor). Everything was rude and humiliating. I tried to say that I don't need anesthesia because I'm not very sensitive, but it's very difficult and painful to endure the effects of anesthesia. Dr. Gerda gave me anesthesia in a rough form, smeared the whole mouth with painkillers, without asking my permission. The quality of the crown also raises big questions for me. My biting functions have been disrupted. I try to tell her, and she adjusts the crown as she sees fit. In a rude way, she silenced me. To be honest, this is the first time I have come across such a disrespectful attitude towards a client. But they charge money for such services instantly.

I arrived and was greeted by Dr. Fulks friendly staff. Holly was very professional and patient with me the entire time. I was very very nervous and she said we don't have to do this if you don't feel comfortable and she reassured me that everything was going to be all right, and she was even gracious enough to stay with me while the doctor arrived. Speaking of, Dr. Chin was super cool and very compassionate along with China. A huge shout out to them for everything. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them and their kindness. This is only the second day and I only feel a very minor sore after two teeth being extracted. Keep in mind on not on any painkillers or medication even though it was provided. I will say I did need a couple ibuprofens later but healed very well and fast during that week.

I was told all contacts are recorded. However I have the text messages that prove contact was exchanged and you received all the paper work. After that when the appt was confirmed I was again told you didn't have the paper work so I printed it out and completed it and brought it to my daughter's appt. The day of her wisdom teeth removal, not one single person introduced themselves. I went back to the room with my daughter and the woman going over info didn't introduce. I don't know if she was an assistant or a doctor. This was very poor care. When my daughter was brought out to the car, a little over 25 minutes after I went out, she was hysterical. I think she should have been kept a little longer as she obviously didn't fare well with anesthesia. We didn't even receive a call to check on her after the procedure at any point in time. That would have been nice. I do suggest a repair of your sign where patients walk in as that looks like a sign for a haunted house. I'm sure the care was good. She didn't get an infection and seems to be healing well, but I had a sense that the was an assembly line and little attention was paid to the patient themselves.

Felicia was very kurt in all of her responses the entire time being in the office. It is clear the regular employees in this office are very passive. Dr. Wilson was very rude to her regular assistant as well. While she was administering anesthetic to a patient, she needed more and yelled very loudly 2xs to her assistant "I need anesthesia!" The assistant was down the hallway in another room. The irony is that the anesthesia drawer was Right beside the doctor's knee which she could have easily accessed herself! After 20+ years working as a healthcare traveler, in diverse areas of skill, I have never written a review, but this was necessary. The experience at this office was a hot mess. Given the information found on their website, it is unbelievable that a minority owned business would present themselves in this manner especially to a colleague in the field.
