I found this one on Yelp on my way to visit family in Orem on a Sunday. I almost missed it. It's unassumingly attached to a valvoline station (bonus if you need a drive thru oil change. I first noticed the hoppin'' parking lot and drive thru. It must be popular because there was no lack of busy, but in a 'good busy' way. The line for the drive thru was long but they handled it with a decent quickness and the barista at the window was a delight. I ordered a large cold brew with cold foam and sugar -free caramel. Before you speak, I know...sugar- free can be dicey. And the research is clear that it's not the same as pure, sugar goodness. But when you're cutting out sugar, it's awesome to have the option when I'm vibing on a little party in my cup. It tastes like you would expect and isn't for the sugar crowd l. I also ordered a breakfast croissant with egg and cheese. They were out of ham but I'm ok with it. Can't really go wrong with hot, cheesy croissants, ham or not. I want to support any business that serves coffee on a Sunday in Orem, UT, especially when it's good. Grinders is a go. read more

We were very pleasantly surprised by Grinders. I remember coming here and enjoying it when the shop opened about 4-5 years ago, but we've matured a lot with our coffee drinking and I don't always like the same places I did a few years back. This spot is still great! My husband has been on a 'shot in the dark' or a 'Red Eye' kick, and he said this is the best in Utah County. I tried a couple iced drinks here during our time in town, and they were all good. If you like flavored coffee drinks, go for it here. I was not disappointed with any of the drinks I tried. The baristas are chatty and nice. Very patient. I like the vibe here, which, for its location, is surprisingly great! read more

These employees do such a great job. They also try to remember and get to know the customers. I also think their coffee is the best around. I miss it on vacation when I have to go to dutch bros. Even their food options are really upscale. And they offer non coffee energy drinks that are really great. This is by far my favorite coffee shop ever no complaints. Even when the line is long they move along fairly quickly. read more

Decent place for Orem, UT- I grabbed a mocha here and it was insanely sweet so if you're a regular coffee drinker then I'd ask them to make it at maybe 30% sweetness because definitely on the sweeter side which I guess isn't super surprising being in the heart of Orem. Otherwise, quiet ambiance where you can work or catch up with a friend. Service was great and welcoming and cafe is clean and good overall, just would ask for less sweetness in any mixed drinks. read more

I came here often with my athlete. Several other people have vouched for the coffee and chai tea. Strong flavor, quality seems top notch (at least in Utah Valley terms). For the moment, this is the best quality coffee and chai available anywhere near. They have some really unique flavor combos as well which I can't say I've tried myself but if the most basic product is good, this seems like they've already got it down. okay THE best customer service ever!!! I had never been in before and was a little nervous to order but she helped me through the menu and gave me recommendations while being so patient, and she was so sweet!! I don't drink coffee, and she recommended some drinks without coffee and without making me feel dumb! Would not go here again.. customer service was awful, girl upfront acts like she hates her job..which fair, but still extremely unhelpful for our first time in. For an empty coffee shop it sure took a long time to make one coffee. Handed me a blended drink with no straw, couldn't find one in the complementary area, had to stand up front again and waited for someone to notice me to get a straw for my coffee. The drink itself was great, cute little coffee shop. read more

I go here all the time this is my favorite spot! They have a good range of coffee and coffee adjacent stuff, I personally love the ladybug energy drink they make and I normally don't go for that kind of stuff. The coffees are also all very delicious and worth trying! It's a great atmosphere to hang out and relax or just grab a cup of joe. The baristas are all wonderful and very nice and approachable. You always feel welcome in here and the rewards system is pretty useful! At least with how often I'm going there! : ) read more

Usually pretty good... aside from missing items and getting a wrong order twice, but this is just wrong. the croissant is burnt. it's obviously burnt so I'm not sure why they used it for my Breakfast sandwich. The folded ends are the worst part but usually my favorite part. I took the photo before I tried to eat it but the burnt taste just killed the sandwich. I know they are getting busier with new customers but burnt food is not acceptable. I had to skip breakfast because this was not eatable. read more

I am 100% about the foam. I love that thick dense silky foam perfectly blended with the crema of the espresso. This isn't the best foam I've ever had. It's a bit too airy and I could hear the steamer going a little too far past done. However, the espresso itself tastes pretty good. The shop is just awesome. Wonderful atmosphere, interesting art, good music, and comfortable seating. The staff is clean, friendly, quick and efficient. Overall not a bad place to hang out with some coffee. read more

Stopped by Sunday morning for some much-needed coffee--and if you know anything about Utah County, it's not easy finding 1. coffee & 2. much open on Sundays. So this was bigly clutch. On top of that, it was a drive-through, the nitro cold brew was super smooth, and service extra friendly. Menu looks pretty interesting with a mix of classic coffee hits, unique energy drinks, and some food as well. Pretty positive I'll stop by again in the future when visiting friends/family in the area. read more

Omg i forgot about yelp! I've been going to grinders since 2018, found them through a sports sponsorship! 1000/10 Best baristas, best coffee. Little hesitant to write a review, but they deserve the spotlight! i recommend the mocha with coconut flavoring, iced. delicious! Real quick the rewards system is super nice! you use your number and you get a text to see how many points you have. 65 for a small free coffee, but 75 will get a large free coffee. I've been to grinders a couple times since it's on my way to work. The nitro cold brew is pretty good, and it's decently priced. Not a fan of the egg and cheese English muffin. It's nothing fancy but the coffee is good. read more

It's quiet, but that could be the newness. As people enter and egress, people keep holding the door. It's oddly polite here, and I and suspicious. There is a drive though. I want to try it! I only tried a mocha, but it was dang good. The seating is nice. No one glared at me as I occupied a table alone and plugged along on my work. read more

My fiancé and I go to Grinders every Sunday morning. This is by far our favorite coffee shop in utah county. The coffee blend they use is delicious. We've tried blended and hot coffees, the energy drink mixes, muffins and sweet bread, and the breakfast sandwiches. Everything has been so tasty! Highly recommend. We sat in the drive through for a really long time, a good 10 minutes of that was just waiting for our order to be taken at the intercom. While we were waiting, we watched the grinders employees do a food trade with the pizza place next door while there were a good 5 or more cars in line behind us. Extremely slow service and disappointed. The employees here should pay more attention to their customers than the workers next door. read more

Skip Starbucks and go West 1/2 mile on 800 N for a much better local coffee shop experience at Grinders (between Maverik and 7-Eleven). And if you need an inspection or other basic car service, drop it next door at SuperLube and enjoy this as the perfect waiting room. read more

I was so delighted with every tea I got to try and the snacks were fresh and very high quality. The teas were all excellent and I was so impressed with the preparation and care that went into their whole setup. The establishment is clean, well designed and extremely professional. I even bought an adorable travel tea set to remind me of this first visit. It won't be the last. I highly, highly recommend you arrange a tea here and bring guests.
