It's no wonder Iowa City's pedestrian mall is thriving as it boasts amazing locally owned eateries, shops and businesses. I adore the attention to detail with painted benches, amazing murals and the ICDD consistently bringing art installations to the Ped Mall. Additionally, there is a nice new accessible playground in the middle, along with a great stage area. There is shade, plenty of seating-- it is great for people watching!
