FIRST, run from this business and its owner as fast as possible. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! If you read all of my YELP reviews, you will realize that 90% of them are positive. 4&5 Stars. I only leave a bad review like this one, when the public really needs to know how bad or dangerous someone is! To start with, I am the kind of person that is very easy going and I never get angry and I rarely ever raise my voice. When I find someone honest, I'll do business with them forever! I have a 2004 F-350 that I took to get repaired at this business. In the past 14 months, I brought the same truck here 3 times to have the 4x4 fixed. In total, I've spent over $4,000 at Gription Tire Pros on this problem. They have replaced (All the brakes, Calipers, pads, rotors, Upper and Lower Ball Joints, the wheel hub assembly, the Front axel U joint and seals.....etc, etc...)The 4x4 would engage, but it still made a horrible knocking sound whenever I tried to use it. My third visit to Gription to have them diagnose and fix the problem was two days ago. I worked with Tim, who seems like a really nice guy. Tim told me that the locking hubs needed to be replaced and that it would cost $818 and they needed to kept the truck overnight. I told him, I needed the 4x4 to work, so I approved the work and they did it. When I picked up the truck, I didn't test the 4x4 because it was late and I was going to be driving it on the highway to get home. (BIG MISTAKE) But, when I got home, I engaged the 4x4 and the same horrible knocking sounds were still there. This morning I took it back into them, but this time I was confronted by Jose, the owner. I told him the problem was still not fixed. We did a quick test drive in their parking lot and when he heard the knocking sounds, he put the truck in a stall and up on a lift. I was getting a little frustrated, but I politely asked Jose "Why didn't you guys do a quick test drive yesterday before telling me the problem was fixed"? Jose said "we wouldn't have replaced the locking hubs if they didn't need to be replaced". I said "Ok, but if you drove the truck 10 feet you would have realized the problem with the 4x4 was still not fixed and that's why I brought the truck in here." That was all it took for Jose to completely loose his cool! He said,"Get the Fuck out of my shop"!!! I was shocked that a simple, honest and legitimate question from a customer that has spent thousands of dollars in your business was meet by such anger. He came closer so no one could hear and said, "If you don't leave my shop I'll smash your scull with a wrench"! My truck was still on the lift so I couldn't leave. I walked into the lobby to wait and ask Tim for his opinion about my Truck and the situation. Jose pulled my truck out of the stall and followed me into the lobby. Ranting and yelling at me. The look on Tim's face and the girls working behind the counter was one of shock! I think they kept quiet, so not to get fired. Jose then pushed me out the front door and shut it in my face. I have no idea why he acted so violently and rudely to such a legitimate questions from a paying customer. Maybe it was the MAGA hat I was wearing? Anyway, I immediately drove down the street to Nelson Automotive repair. They diagnosed the problem, A worn out Front Drive Shaft Assembly. They ordered the part and installed it in under 2 hours while I waited. It cost $1,150 ($150 labor and $1,000 for the part) But, It fixed the problem and now the 4x4 works perfectly!!!! If you take the time to read Jose's responses to other unhappy customers, he always blames the customer and accuses them of lying! Don't be fooled by this maniac! Stay far, far away!!!! read more

So about a year ago I had four of Gription's house brand (Hercules) tires installed and within the first two months I had to replace three schrader valves (the little part inside the valve stem) because you could hear the air escaping whenever you removed the valve cap. Every week since purchase I have had to add air so today I returned to Gription to have them examine the tires. I asked a simple yes or no question as to the availability for service and was met with the most asinine, insanely rude, completely unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. These two women could not even answer a simple yes or no question without a barrel full of attitude! This is not a dive bar, it is a business! Stay far, far away from this place, spend your money elsewhere!!!!! Sorry that I had no option for zero stars because this place is completely screwed up!!!! read more

I brought in winter tires on rims to have them swapped and purchase the lug nuts that the steel winter rims required. I got them back and they had installed some 3" long lug nuts that looked totally ridiculous on my Tacoma. I brought this up to the manager and he went on trying to convince me this was totally normal and that I was crazy. After getting home it just wasn't sitting right with me so I returned and had the gal at the front desk come look at them. The first thing she said was "they are extra long aren't they". She then told me that this was all they had in stock and that's why they put them on and they would refund me. I purchased standard lug nuts at Carquest and installed them myself which of course made me wish I had done it myself originally. Then I decided to count the lugs that fit my summer wheels and there is one missing, they only returned 23 to me instead of 24!! I counted them several times and checked the rims just to make sure. I am definitely not going back, I'll just have to order one for $13 online because mine is probably rolling around on the floor in their workshop. Looks like I need to find a new tire shop. They go by FCFS but after i checked in I was next in line & they did an awesome job. I'll be back in the future for any other service I would need done from a shop! My son was made to return to get valve stems replaced after spending over 2,000$ on tires. When he returned to ask to have these replaced because he had a leaking tire. While he was waiting for the shop to open he parked the truck. When the owner arrived he confronted my son about where the truck was parked. Yelled and used offensive language. My son ended up leaving with his truck. Now he has to go and have the valve replaced somewhere else. I'm not going to use this place when I need to get my tires replaced. If I'm going to get yelled at by the owner of a business he won't get my family business. We own multiple vehicles. read more

The tire rack portion of the install was fine. i had to extra items that need doing while i was there. that didn't go well. They told me about some doubtful information in regard to my repair/install. I found a better place to go. learned my lesson. They didn't stick to their quote and damaged something. Added $15 dollars and talked to me like i didn't know tires. Hopefully they will lose that and then some. I won't go back. Too bad for them, as I have a lot of tire needs with 10+ vehicles. read more

My husband and I dropped off our truck for a seasonal tire change, we brought in tires for them to put on and they failed to let us know that the tires weren't all the same size even though they noticed and paired the different sizes together on the front and back. The moment we switched the truck into 4WD it blew the front differential, conveniently it was while we were heading to the HOSPITAL to have our BABY. After we got it fixed the differential went out again this time catching fire with myself and my NEWBORN baby in it that made us have to wait out in a SNOWSTORM after Christmas and have someone pick us up. We have talked to every other local tire shop and they've all said they would be buying us a new differential if they had mounted the tires. Now we are looking at $4000 in repairs. Don't recommend going here if you are expecting a company to back their work. read more

Went to Les Schwab for years and there were two constants: the waits kept getting longer (and Les Schwab didn't seem interested in doing anything about it), and the prices kept going up. Worst experience I have ever had at a small town local business. I am so disappointed by quality of work and the costumer service, not to mention the owners attitude and temper! He literally cussed at me when I parked my vehicle in a bad spot. I needed to return to the shop because my new tires were leaking air (they did not inspect or replace the valve stems and two were bad) I arrived before the shop opened and had to park in the back lot due to the number of cars in customer parking. He started yelling about how inconvenient my location was and how many cars they had to work on. I told him that I realize he is busy and I did not know the shops work flow. I asked him to settle down, forgive my ignorance and treat me with respect. He said "Settle down?! You know what, Get your F***ing truck out of here, I'm not going to work on it!" Well that got me a little upset to say the least! He tried to come back five minutes later and say he is busy and stressed and I "should never have said to settle down". I wish I would have never gone to Gription to begin with and sure wish I did not have to go back and have a bad experience because he did not do a good job the first time. Such a bummer! I wish we had all small town owners with class, pride in ownership and a respect for community. This is not a big nasty city, we do not treat people so poorly in this town. I was having tire pressure sensor issues after hitting a couple potholes in Idaho on vacation. I went here and they checked it out immediately, showed me the results as we went along, actually did it twice, very friendly and no charge, I could tell this was a great place with people who enjoy their jobs and not looking to take advantage of anybody. Just switched to my winter tires today and was quoted over the phone and in person $65. An hour later I returned to a $105 dollar bill. The extra $40 was to replace my tire pressure sensors. Not because they were faulty but because it was their "policy". A policy that is not disclosed or written anywhere. My sensors were working fine on a low milage 3 year old vehicle. What a scam. When I called them out on this they cut the price by $20. Are there any honest businesses anymore? So disappointed and frustrated I will never be back. read more

I have a front tire w unusual tire wear so took the car to Little's for an alignment. Little's mechanic said the alignment was so far out that instead of the $79 cost it would cost $150 to correct. When I asked for details I became uncomfortable with the "oh don't worry the mechanic will take care of it" response. I took my car to another local alignment shop for a second opinion. They told me the cars alignment was w/in specs (and gave me the printout) and told me the tire was worn badly due to low tire pressure. Turns out that tire had been very low recently, so I knew they were spot on. I can't even tell you how disappointed I am in Little's Tire Shop after this experience. read more

I borrowed my friend's car and had a flat tire. We drove to Little's using her spare. The owner took a look at the tire and told us it looked like a faulty valve. He put on a new tire AND changed all of her valves and said NO CHARGE. My friend has always been a fan of Little's TIre & Alignment and now I am a fan too, big fan! When have you heard "NO CHARGE" in this day and age? The owner suspected the valve may have come from a defective batch from China. He told us he stands behind his product and service.
