DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TAYLOR & SONS SERVICE. We took our truck in for a basic oil change, picked it up an hour later and we couldn't even drive it out of the parking lot. We immediately took it right back into them and brought the noise and steering issue to their attention. They said they would have it looked at and get us a total for the repairs... excuse us!! The vehicle was just fine when we dropped it off an hour earlier. Zero issues. Now they want $3k to fix what they caused. We will never take our vehicles to them again. Horrible customer service. Shame on you Taylor & Sons. Chase, the manager was of zero help. That man needs to be fired!!! read more

I took my 2004 Hummer H2 1-1/2 hours from my home to Taylor and Sons Chevrolet after three mechanics failed to find the electrical issue that was draining the battery when unused for 3 weeks. They acccepted my business and kept the car nearly three months through the Winter explaining they were waiting for part. Then the environmental controls they replacced "melted down" and had to be reordered...TWICE. Finally- they ordered original GM parts and "resolved the problem". This was not the electrical issue and now the newly replaced unit blows cold AC at the driver and right rear passenger and VERY HOT AIR at the front passenger side and left rear passenger at the same time!. the vehicle cannot be used in warm weather without all windows down. Next they replaced the battery and told me the remote locking and alarm and remote starting system were the electrical drain on the system. They claimed there were no parts and that they would have to disconnect these features leaving my vehicle unsecure and manual (no remote control). this seemed implausible but I told them go ahead. $2400 later... I finally got my vehicle back. almost 4 months and several features lost. I took it home and let it set and two weeks later the battery was drained flat and damaged. no progress had been made. I called for a new appointment and they finally found time for an appointment months out. They gave me the wrong date then called me on the date they had in their books and told me I had to reschedule...I was at that moment recharging the damaged flat battery from their poor service. I got the new appoint after 10 days more wait, traveled again 1.5 hours and left my Hummer again for several days. Finally they call and told me they found the issue but were vague saying something in the computer...again sounding unsure and implausible but I was glad to get my Hummer back. after three months of using the Hummer I let it set for three weeks and ...you guessed it...FLAT BATTERY. Now almost a year and $2400 into repairs with MONTHS without my main farm fleet vehicle I once again made the trek (having to take 2 cars 1.5 hours so that we could AGAIN let the mechanic "take a look". This time they offered to let us wait for it...6 hours later...The Service manager comes out and tells me that for $2400 and over 5 months total shop time that my only solution was to ORDER A KILL SWITCH FROM NAPA AND INSTALL IT MYSELF TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY EVERY TIME I PARKED THE VEHICLE!!!! REALLY?!!!!? R E A L L Y ! ! ! ? Open the hood and connect the battery and reset the radio, clock and stereo code EVERY TIME I USED THE VEHICLE! THIS was the professional Service manager at Taylor and Sons Chevrolet's Service Department's solution to the electrical drain?!!! 5 months without a car and $2400 for something they told me I would have to take care of myself. NO REFUND OFFERED. And I still have hot air AND cold AC blasting out of the environmental controls. They did put a lovely new windshield in for $400 and there is no complaint about that. I cannot recommend this dealership. this was an exercise in frustration and being lied to over and over again until I was defrauded of over $2,000 and told to go fix the problem myself. Out of frustration I took it to a competitor in Deere Park, WA and they found the problem within two hours for $60 diagnosis fee. It was always the On Star System shorting out and drawing down the battery. the replacement is ordered and will be installed for $900. Whether they are dishonest or utterly incompetent and have no training in customer service or perhaps they simply know I have no more money to take them to court and sue them. It doesn't matter. Lesson learned. NEVER WILL I USE THIS DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPT OR BUY A FARM FLEET VEHICLE FOR MY 9 VEHICLE FLEET FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. And if anyone asks who I recommend instead...Go to Deer Park...Spokane...Denver...ANYWHERE BUT TAYLOR AND SONS for your electrical problem on a GM product. NOGO read more

Spent all morning on the phone with them. Gave them all my information and trade in information. Drove an hour to see the vehicle we wanted (that was perfect for our family) only to have them sell it to someone else as we got there. Lost a customer and my faith in car sales all together. What a disappointment. I was also told I would receive a follow up phone call from a manager if the deal fell through... only to get a text message hours later. He said he would personally call me. Not only did he not call but he had a salesperson send a text message! The customer service we received was unacceptable. read more

I purchased a used 2016 Suburban from Taylor and Son and the suv had issues starting and all electrical going off while driving. Took it in to Taylor's and they replaced the valves but the truck still doesn't start the first time and while driving all electrical turns off so the odometer and speedometer quit working. I had a manager call me to see how my repair visit went. I told him I'm still having issues starting the suv and electrical just randomly goes out. I asked if we can do A buy back and he told me that's not going to happen he doesn't want it back. So I still have not made my first payment on the vehicle and now I wonder when I'm traveling if I will get stuck when it decides not to start on me. So disappointed and will never go back. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for Friday 6-9-23 to get my oil changed and diagnose a problem with my front end. At 4pm on Thursday 6-8-23, I went in to take the service manager, Chase, for a drive so he could hear what I was hearing to better diagnose my vehicle. After a short ride down the street, he knew it was a faulty sway bar link that was fixed months ago. He immediately put my car in the shop and found a link at a parts dealer down the road. He fixed the link, at no charge to me, and changed my oil then and there so I wouldn't have to return the following morning. Chase, his service department, and his techs went above and beyond (as usual) to make sure I was safe and satisfied. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else for maintenance or repairs and will always recommend Taylor and Sons Chevy to friends and family. Thank you so much guys! read more

Called and arrange for annual service two weeks in advance. Advised the service department of my requests, including a tail pipe issue. Requested a loaner car if the vehicle could not be repaired that day. They advised that it would not be a problem and they would make sure the vehicle was fixed or a loaner car was available. Service was completed but at the end the technician advised the tail pipe had to be welded and they don't do that at the dealership. So why didn't they tell me that when I advised them of the problem? Now they said I needed to go to some muffler shop in town. I live 80 miles from this dealership and they basically blew my request off just to get my service fee. The tail pipe had slipped off a rubber bushing and needed to be replaced. Poor communication between the technician and service advisor and me. Don't recommend. read more

I bought my first car locally from Taylor and Sons, a 2018 Chevy Traverse, due to the Costco special. I was prepared for a long day, haggling, back and forth, and frustration. None of those things happened - at all. I was offered a price, I asked for extras, and the company split the extras with me. I waited several days to think on my decision and no one hounded me. Taylor and sons called my bank and got approval for my car and I picked it up the next day, with a 30 minute signing. Even after the sale, I was not clear on the extras and my expectations. They paid for the miscommunication when they had the choice not to. I feel great about the whole experience, from the value of the price, to my time, to the quality of the car and availability and ease of all staff for my questions.
