I reached out to this company for a homeowners insurance quote on November 16 through their website. Kat Lamar called me back the next day, and I provided all the details about my new home. I told her I needed coverage starting November 24, and she said it would be simple since she could find everything on the Zillow listing. After that first call, I never heard back. I followed up on the 19th to confirm she had my correct email, and she said she'd get back to me soon--but again, nothing. I tried calling her on the 21st, left a voicemail, and still no response. She completely ghosted me. This company is unbelievably unprofessional. I ended up finding another broker over the weekend who actually got me insured by the 24th. I chose this company because of their positive reviews and years in business, but my experience was awful. Do not waste your time with them. read more

Not happy with how they handled my account. Between the increases and the customer service miscommunication it is not good. People handling the account do not listen clearly to concerns or address them accordingly. Then when you get angry at the back and forth calls they claim that maybe we will refer you to another agency because you and the said person is not getting along. Really? I am the client and if your not listening to my concerns after a half dozen calls what the heck? I blew a fuse rightfully so. Being told one thing and another thing happed costing me money. throwing my budget off. Not happy with how this was handled via auto pay and double premium cost. I now have to reduce the policy to the bare min. required by law because of the double unauthorized direct payment. read more

We have never had a problem getting through to a representative regarding insuring a new car, putting in a claim for accidents, calling for quotes, comparing rates and so much more. I had a similar experience to Mike B. I asked to be requoted for one of many business and personal policies because I felt I was paying too much. (Actually my mortgage broker said I was paying way too much). Grober said they checked and I had the best quote they could get. When I got around to searching myself I found on the very first agency I spoke with a policy savings of $8000 on one policy alone and better coverage. They were fairly responsive when I contacted them but I would shop around. read more

They've been doing my in laws Insurance for years and have been very thorough with their insurance program. My in laws are high profile people so they needed specific coverages that a normal agent couldn't do as my father in law does a lot of business in Mexico. There are two types of people in todays world. One who goes to work, and those who COME to work. It definitely takes a special person to deal with myself for a multitude of reasons. First i must say they have a woman named cheryl swafford who writes my policies, let me tell you ive never dealt with a person who hold my best interests at heart whether giving solid advice, trying to save me my money or explaining insurance for a regular guy. I have an electrical contracting firm and could see myself cheating on her due to her knowledge, response, professionalism or just making things happen at the 23.5 hour. Im putting her on my Christmas card list to start and i just know that is why i shall remain loyal as long as I'm in business. This company refuses to answer questions regarding square footages of homes with pricing. They charge more for 684 square foot home versus a 1064 square foot home. they also forget to delete mortgage clauses which takes over four years to delete. They do not retain records, so they say even for existing policies cancelled in July 2014. They put customers in companies fined by NY state for slow sandy response. They answer you back with unrelated material stating how much they write and how long in business to evade facts and figures of policies such as square footage.They have no explanation for 684 house to pay over 3,600 dollars versus a 1064 house located in a flood zone pays only 1600 dollars,. Please beware. They omit to themselves and state you never spoke to their employees. Very disappointing company and very unprofessional. thank you read more

I own a relatively new business and was exploring liability policies. Being that we are new I was looking for good coverage with a relatively low premium so that it fit into my budget. This company from top to bottom was rude and could care less about our business. They made it quite clear with their attitude from the receptionist to the salesperson that our lower premium was not worth their time. They were unwilling to answer questions and made me feel like I was disrupting their day. If you are a local business with a budget for your insurance look elsewhere! I have been using Grober ins for close to 10yrs. June has always been kind, courteous and helpful. But it seems that my rates every year got increased and when I looked into it myself I found a much better deal. When I contacted the agency and told them I was going with a different Carrier my 10 yrs meant nothing, I was given an attitude by the sales girl Jenny and told why didn't I tell them to look for a better deal. I canceled the current policy on September 15 and on 10/06 they withdrew the installment anyway. This is obviously a blatant sign of disrespect toward me and in trying to correct the error I was told I would have to wait until they cut me a check and mailed it on the following Monday. So now I will be waiting 2 weeks for my refund of over 800 dollars. So keep an eye on your policy and rates, and a closer eye on your account. read more
