Yes, there is a FredMeyers and a McKays grocery store in Brookings, but they can be pricey if your needing organic foods. This grocery outlet usually has so many organic and vegan options, I never go home empty handed. I also love the fact that they offer new inventory every 2 days. I wish other grocery outlets would do this. You never know what your going to find. Staff is friendly and checkout is a breeze. I will miss this store.

It is located in the South Coast Center strip mall, and has plenty of shared parking. The footprint is very large, with wide aisles and plenty of real registers. We spent a lot of time here, noticing a lot of items (some name brands) that we've not seen at other Dollar trees before. Ended up buying a bunch of things for $1.25 (ben and jerry single serve ice cream, and various branded dog toys). Checkout was easy, and of course there is no sales tax in Oregon. After donating my items, I noticed a DKNY tote bag for $20! You could probably purchase this new at TJ Max for not much more. What's going on with independent thrift stores that are pricing like Goodwill? When I asked about the high pricing on the DNKY tote bag, the clerk quipped back some sarcastic remark. You'll definitely get a variety of items half of which you might be able to use. Was pleasantly surprised to find a solid thermos, Henckels cutting board, culinary chef smoothie maker machine and egg crates and a good 50 pack of Hanes cloth face masks that will be good for shop cloths. You will take a gamble on the mystery box as it seems like there's odds and ends of which you would most likely find in the discount bin not necessarily on the shelf. This will become a regular stop on my travels to Oregon as they will always have rotating stock and new discount items.
