We LOVE our G.O. store! Through the years and all the Covid stress they have done their best to keep the shelves full and staff and customers happy. We always find the basics as well as great holiday foods/items here. Our budget is greatly helped shopping here. The store and staff are always tidy and friendly. We shop here first each week and normally need to shop for little much elsewhere. The shelfs, coolers, and freezers are filled with name brand quality food/items you would purchase at any regular grocery store. They have what they get, but, the prices are great!!! If you have not shopped at a G.O. try the Chehalis location, the local people are friendly and fun to shop with! We have been to many G.O.s and never had a bad shopping experience. You know, ever since my grandmother (rest her soul) told me how she loved her local Grocery Outlet I have been to a good handful of them up and down the west coast the past 20 years as I've moved from here and there. This one is one of the better ones when it comes to cleanliness and food selection. The staff are ok. Personable enough but I wouldn't say happy. It's always very busy, and I get anxious getting trapped in the aisles with random people. The open boxes left in the aisles when restocking is a little frustrating. Some guy who hadn't bathed in I don't know how long had me trapped between his big butt and a cart full of empty boxes. Once he finally picked the Gatorade he wanted and moved out of the way, I could breathe again. I got 4 bags of groceries and a six pack of beer for $120 not bad these days. Went to Safeway after for the things I couldn't find which wasn't a lot thankfully because Safeway is awful. read more

I love these stores! Hate the name (seriously, it's so dumb!) but I love it. It's a higher class Aldis I guess. The staff here were friendly and helpful. I asked for half and half and assumed since it wasn't out they didn't have. The girl grabbed some from the back...didn't give me stink eye or anything! read more

GREAT selection of Vegan/gluten free stuff! I've been pescatarian for a few years now but I try to not eat animal products still and this place has more vegetarian/vegan options than I've seen at any Walmart/Safeway/Shop and Kart/Krogers I've ever been to. Trust me I've been to a lot of them over the years in over 5 states and I'm not kidding this place tops them all. I even have a grocery outlet where I live (over and hour away) and it does not compare to this one. This is the grand daddy super chief champion of Grocery Outlets. They also have a very good selection of toiletries as well. Very clean kept store. The staff was very nice and professional. 10/10 read more

Grocery outlet or Gross Out as most people call it is a place to get random food that no other grocery store wants. That means that you will find bizarre flavors, random brands, and even produce, which looks a bit sketchy. I like to come here to find random things like shampoo, candy, and coffee. Sometimes you get lucky and find amazing things, and other times you strike out. Since this location is in Lewis County, I have seen people load up their grocery carts with cheap (nasty) beer and boxes and boxes of processed junk food. Aaaand the people are interesting and usually smell, but I come here to try to find good deals on cereal, coffee, soda, and condiments. read more

So happy here. The cheese selection is great now. Always new varieties. Plus they have a really good selection of dried fruits in bags, organic too. I have really enjoyed the natural food selection. They have really gone all out with unique, natural, organic, gluten free and lots of cool weird stuff that I have never heard of before. The two somewhat negative reviews on here (so far) totally miss the Grocery Outlet concept. G.O. has very limited control over the selection it offers on any given day. It takes (if it wants it in the first place) what it's offered in the way of nearing-expiry-day merchandise as well as companies' overstock items. (E.G., Franz's organic breads--when G.O. can get them--at a couple of bucks lower than Walmart sells them.) So sometimes when you go into the store you won't find much of interest to you. Other times (in my case, *many* other times), there are items I love, at a really great price. I've never found the produce "sketchy," but of a solidly good quality. As for price . . . how about a large stalk of fresh *organic* celery for 99 cents? Never wilted, but always green as grass. Yeah, calling the store "Gross Out" is cute--but it isn't at all accurate. It's a great store with really nice staff. So don't criticize it because its business concept can't always fill your immediate needs. When it can't do it, go to another store. That's what I do, without a bit of grumbling. But I always go to Grocery Outlet first, to see what's cooking. I'm never disappointed. P.S. - as for those customers who "usually smell," why not say hi to them as they're shopping for food items. And then tell them that G.O. also has a great selection of soaps, shampoos and deodorants "in case you're . . . um . . . about to run out." read more

I absolutely love Grocery Outlet stores! This is my local store, but I also shop the other 2 nearby ones when I can. Prices are generally half of what you would pay at Safeway at regular price. Selection is limited, but changes constantly. I am a picky shopper and sometimes I find a cart full of items and other times just a couple of items. It just depends. Great prices on wine and cleaning supplies. They do carry a decent amount of organic items for the size of their store. read more

I tried to buy presto type logs for $2.49 clearly marked by the 6 pack, only to find out they mispriced the item and were trying to sell it for that price by the log. I can get a box for around $5 else where. Gouge much? Not going to waste my time there anymore. read more

They have some of the best deals in town, with limited funds it is a great place to shop. I don't find their stuff to be nasty like the other person was saying. I found that meat is way cheaper here than any place else. When you are trying to survive and you want decent meals that are nutritious this is a place to find the best buys but you have to be there the first day of their sales. The stuff goes fast and once it's gone it's gone! read more
