My tire went flat on the highway so I decided to take it here because It was around the time they opened. When I arrived there was no one waiting. The service tech came up and asked all the usual questions. I told them if they could repair it that's what I wanted to do. The tech told me that if it wasn't able to be repaired they only had one tire in stock. She said they would have to check all 4 tires to see if they had the proper amount of tread on them before being able to look at the flat. When I told her I didn't want that and I only came in to have a that specific tire replaced she said I would have to leave the premises and take the tire off and bring it in as a "walk in" If I could do that I could've just changed the tire myself! So I decided to take my money else where! I understand the rules and regulations and it's not the workers rules, but this is seriously getting ridiculous. When I'm in the area, I'll make a stop just to grab a few things and get out as quickly as I can before the meth mob attacks me and request my spare change. I don't visit this location too often but when I do, it's always been entertaining. My first time at this location I thought I walked on to the set of the lasted rendition of The Hills Have Eyes. One time I even witnessed a one side at knife fight with one the participants in crutches, the whole thing looked like it was straight out of West side story as they shouted pleasantries back-and-forth to each other. I just watched as the security guard ran in the opposite direction of the scuffle. Wow, Five Stars, Chehalis Wal-mart! As we drove through the parking lot at 2mph behind the meth-addled pedestrians who seemed unaware they were traversing a parking lot, I knew I was in for a real treat. Just inside the front door, an elderly greeter wearing a veteran hat was being berated by a large fifty-year-old-looking-but-possibly-only-thirty man in camouflage for handing out masks. The large man wanted the veteran to know that he was being brainwashed by [fornicating] Joe Biden. The camo man needn't have worried, for nobody inside was wearing a mask any higher than their chin. All of America, from Mennonites to meth heads seemed united in the desire to share breath with each other. There was no play area, but in the back corner, two small children were ramming a shopping cart against a pallet full of eggs. Nearby, two even smaller children were holding a cage-match style gladiator fight in the confines of their cart while their mother tried to purchase cigarettes from the man behind the counter, who was talking on his cell phone about "cooters". This is one of the best Walmarts I have been to. They have fresh fruits, a spacious space, customers were calm compared to other Walmarts I have been to, and the staff is super friendly. I found my Maltas drink cheap. We didn't need to wait to pay because cashiers are making sure to call you if they are available, but take your time. So nice, everyone, thank you! read more

They would not honor their extended warranty on a microwave only 7-8 months from purchase. This is between Allstate and Walmart but we, the customers, get to be the tennis ball lobbed back and forth between store and home only to be told by one place that the other place is currently responsible. I love this Walmart! Great selection & friendly staff! Jen is an absolute doll who greets our family with so much love every-time we run into her. This store is huge and has a great layout! Usually very easy to locate your item or a friendly associate near by to help. Lines are long at times but still love fast. They have TONS of self checkout registers to help speed things along though. Bathrooms are usually tidy and customer service is usually great. read more

I suffered a back injury in 2020 that has impacted my ability to do some physical activities. I have found many ways to maintain my level of independence and one of those is by utilizing Walmart grocery pick up to supply food for our house hold of 10 people. I noticed about a year ago that I started getting charged for the price difference of any substitutions at a higher cost. This wasn't the case prior to that, but I know supply for items has been an issue for everyone so I never questioned this. But slowly over the last year I noticed more and more items have been substituted at a higher cost. Last month my daughter in law told me to reject all substitutions and she would run in and find a suitable substitution. To my suprise everything they had said was not in stock was. On January 3rd we did the same thing except this time I documented. The attached pictures are just ONE of the many items that they said was out of stock. I ordered great value butter, and your establishment wanted to replace it with premium tillamook because as the app stated it was out of stock. All items were actually in stock. Let me repeat that... every single item was in stock. I contacted Walmart coperate office and they stated each store can substitute every item for any reason, even if that is for corporate gain. That we the consumer have the right to reject it. I spoke with the Supervisor named Melissa who is quite rude and said there was nothing she can do for me, and that this was well within Walmart, right. This is fraud, stealing, and a down right scam! I used to work here and I'm glad I didn't stay long. Not only are the customers disgusting creeps but so are the employers. On my first day, I was training on the computers and one of the head managers, Philip (bald black guy with glasses), starts talk to me. He asked me about why I started working here and I had told him I moved to Washington with my older sister. He knew he shouldn't have asked me this question but he proceeds to ask me if what my sister is doing for work is legal. I asked him, "what do you mean?" And he reworded it, "she isn't a stripper or prostitute, right?" I was genuinely confused as to why he asked me that question. Later in that conversation he had also asked me if my boyfriend was my first and if I truly love him. Mind you I was a minor when he asked me this inappropriate questions. What really made me want to quite while working at Walmart was when a customer had asked me to help him find something. What he was asking for wasn't in our stores but while I was searching for the item, he asks me,"are you married?" I tell him, "no, I am I minor." And he tells me, "well that's a start." During this "conversation" he is visibly checking me out and trying to get closer whether that's physically or by getting me to talk to him for the rest of my shift (I only had 20 minutes left when I started helping him). After I had told him that the item he is looking for is not available here and that I'll be on my way he tells me "i hope to see you again." This made me feel very uncomfortable with coming back to work resulting in me quitting. read more

This has got to be one of the most poorly ran Walmart stores I've ever encountered. First, their shelves are normally empty of basic staples. Want milk, eggs or cottage cheese before you run out... good luck with that. And someone there thinks it's a great idea for the employees to stock shelves during the busiest shopping times, and have pallets take up entire aisles, so you're forced to attempt to squeeze your cart through without hitting anyone. Oh, and don't expect the majority of the employees to help you, or even make eye contact. You'll mostly be avoided or ignored, especially if you're trying to use the self-checkout and you need help. Super. Then there's the produce section... what a joke. If you can actually find produce in stock, the majority of it is already over-ripe or wilted. I was looking for bananas two days ago and the entire display was already well past its prime. Saving the best for last... the skeezy parking lot. I wouldn't recommend venturing into the area without armed guards, and I wish I was joking. There's nothing like seeing drug deals go down in the parking lot or people doing meth. Then there's the sketchy RV's that the company allows to park there for days at a time, and their not exactly the "family on vacation" type. Where to start. First, this is for the online ordering and pickup. I have been a huge order and pick up shopper at this location for a long time. Starting in November, they started cancelling at least half of my orders, and if I go to the store the items are in stock. The latest happened just today, and it was ordered three days ago, they just cancelled it today. On top of that, it is taking forever for them to fulfill orders. I mean, I already pointed out the three days to cancel my latest order. But, this has been the norm, it's almost always at least 24 hours before an in stock item can be picked up. Finally, I had need of an item sooner, so purchased elsewhere and then canceled the Walmart pickup (i.e. was taking forever to arrive). Once cancelled, they fulfilled the order, and since I had other items I needed on the receipt I had to accept it when I picked up the other items. When I tried to return it (because I cancelled it), it caused a huge stir because the system showed that it had been cancelled but I had not received a refund for it. They took the item and said their accounting department would look into it to see if I would get a refund. It was another 3 days before the refund came to me. Worst experience I've ever had shopping online - and that includes the scammers I've had to deal with. Absolutely DO NOT order anything online to be picked up here - complete waste of time, effort and money. read more

Purchased a dual blood glucose monitor in the pharmacy, got it home and it wouldn't turn on, the pharmacy refuses to exchange, return or give store credit because it is an item that is not returnable. "It's policy." It's super hard to find a business that truly cares about their customers and understands the value of their customers. And Walmart has become one of those on the top of that list. I live ruraly, so my options are limited. That being said I will do what I can to avoid shopping at wal-mart. Oh and as far as policy goes, they get to pick and choose what they want enforce and what they don't because I'll tell you their policy is not to let customers into the automotive shop, well, they have on more than one occasion. But, they will also tell you that you're not telling the truth, so be prepared to show your receipts.... And I mean not just your receipt that you purchased something. I use it rarely as I try to avoid Walmarts (not a fan of crowds) but seem to be able to get in and out of this one smoothly. The tire center, however, is awful. Their Bakery cake decorators are horrible but they seems to have people who work in the hot food section decorate cakes also cause all I wanted was Happy Birthday with Childs name written on a pre made cake and it looked like a 5yr old did it and the writing was only about 4 inches long. I brought it up and the lady I spoke to about agreed with me she wouldn't pay for it either so she went and got a lead and they only wanted to give me $4 off a $30 cake and was VERY RUDE I said I can't take this home to my child she said well that's all I can do! i told her she can keep that cake and I'll go else where! So we've been ordering online for pickup since it started and everything was great with a few substitutions here or there. The last 2 weeks we dont get a text that our order is delayed till after the scheduled time. Then for the 3rd week in a row they said they were out of stock on all kinds of stuff and we went in immediately after and found everything or at least a viable substitution. And from what I understand managers are the ones who are supposed to authorize substitutions. So maybe you should do what you get paid to do and get ALL the groceries and not lie about not having it, and same for managers and substitutions. 3 months ago I would've given 5 stars but it seems they have people who just dont want to so their job. I work hard so I have money to spend at your store. You offer a free pickup service. I use your service. Make sure everyone is doing what they should. While the store is remodeling the floors in the freezer section are covered in water, tape and packaging. The new shelves are so tall I had to use another item to knock the item I needed off the top shelf. Employees picking curbside orders refuse to move over for customers. There only seemed to be 1 car ahead of me. Guy thru a fit because he was the only one working. Tried to talk me out of even getting tires. Ok, disclaimer, I dont normally review chain stores but I just need to comment on this store and their "site to store" specifically. What a joke. This "service" that they offer to help avoid high shipping charges is just absolutely an inconvenient joke. I arrived to pick up 2/3 of my items (seriously, you cant ship them together? You have to make me come in twice to deal with this crap to get all of my items?) and saw a sign at the site to store counter that said, literally, to go find an employee in the electronics area to help you. I wandered around until I saw a lady and asked her for help. She and another employee argued over who had to help me. Finally one of them, quite snarkily, said to go back to the counter to wait and someone would be there to help me "in a bit". After about 5 minutes of standing there looking around another employee walks up and says, "I have never done this before but I will try to help". 15 minutes later after this poor gal is trying to figure it out she says that it isnt at the store. I assure her that my email says it arrived and show her the tracking. She disappears in the back of the store and 10 min later comes back with my package. Now add another 10 min of trying to figure out how to complete the order .....another employee comes over and helps her. The entire process took over 30 min to get two things. AND i have to go back and get the third item in my order. Honestly, i will never do the site to store again. I dont care how much money it saves. What a pain in the ass. Also, in general,. this store severely lacks customer service. I have stopped shopping here and now travel 20 min up the road to the Tumwater Walmart. They are very nice there, no waits at checkouts (which is constant at this walmart), and a very nice clean store. Skip this walmart if you can and definitely skip site to store. My issue with this WalMart is the Automotive department. My daughter took her two year old Honda there and they completely botched the oil change. She drove it less than a mile from the store where it broke down. The mechanic from Walmart came out to the car - totally unprofessional as he swore and vaped as he tried to assess the situation. We had to pay to have it towed to the dealership and pay actual mechanics to fix it. WalMart did pay us back - but not after the automotive staff called us all names and said that they did nothing wrong, but because they were nice they were going to pay us $500 cash and a Walmart gift card for another $100. What are people talking about??? ... This Walmart is no bigger then any other I have visited. It may SEEM bigger because of the strange arrangement of things, and you have to walk all over the place to find anything, but that is true of many store locations. It is very cluttered and lacking in many things I try to find. However, it is open 24/7 and has groceries, so it is a necessary evil sometimes.
