Decent sized grocery store in a prime busy street close to downtown. Honestly, stopped here just to use the restroom, which was a little small and definitely unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Ive been a customer of Fullers for 50 years. After they sold it was sad but the customer service in both towns was lacking. I went to Shop and Kart instead. When Shop and Kart bought it I thought great. Started going again then it became really dirty in the Bakery. So I stopped going. So I figured I give it a try again since Winco in Centralia. I was surprised by the cake I bought, the Bakery was clean again. The customer service was fanstastic in the meat department Cory helped me and could answer my questions about the meat. He was so pleasant and didnt make me feel like im bothering him. He knows his product unlike Winco the meat department tells me they dont grade there meat? I was in the Hospitality Food Industry 55 years and my father was a Chef who owned and ran Restaurants. He would have laughed at the man at Winco...I was surprised how nice the cashier was and not making me wait in line and it was only one in front of me. That happen both times I went in.. Thats customer service again... Most stores dont care how long your waiting as you look at the employees standing. I will be going back to Fullers again due to new owners knowing how important customer service is and knowledge of products sold. The cashier who help me was the lady who helped me always at Shop and Kart who was always very nice, she older like myself. Fuller's Shop N Kart is a great, medium-sized grocery store in Centralia. We came across them as we were looking for somewhere more locally owned and away from the ginormous groceries like Safeway, Costco, Walmart, and Fred Meyer. We have found our place and go-to store. Fuller's has everything you need - a delicious bakery section, deli, fine produce, dairy, frozen foods, and all in between. Their meats are exceptionally good (much better than other grocery store meats. They even have some homemade/housemade meats - be sure to try their breakfast sausage!! Another big plus to Fuller's is their bulk section! Spices, grains, seeds, nuts, dried fruits, and candy are all available to buy. Super good! Fuller's also has a full alcohol selection - beer, wine, and liquor. Lastly, they also have a good selection of ethnic foods, particularly Hispanic items. Great addition to the store. One could assume a smaller, locally-owned grocery might not have the selection of a Safeway or Albertsons's but that's not the case here. A bright, cheery supermarket full of exciting and interesting products along with the staples, now beautifully organized and much more inviting after a stunning remodel that opened up tremendous space in front. I learned this when I had to start shopping here again, after a three-year personal boycott, because I lost my car and could no longer get to Safeway. Why the boycott? Because of a thing that happened to my husband and left an awful taste in my mouth: While shopping at Fuller's in 2022, Christopher poured himself a fountain drink and, on his way to the register, took a sip. It tasted weird. Standing in line, he checked twice more, and it tasted strangely like ammonia. When he asked the cashier's permission not to buy it, the young man said, "Sure!" and relieved him of the poisonous-tasting beverage. That was the normal part. Two weeks later, when Chris was leaving Fuller's with some purchases, a very young security guard (maybe 18) stopped him in the parking lot and showed him three surveillance photos, printed on three separate pages: one for each of the three sips Chris had taken from his unsavory drink. He asked Christopher to come back inside, under threat of calling police. After leading my husband back into the store and upstairs, followed by another employee to keep him from bolting, the guard admonished him for having assumed, two weeks earlier, that his cashier had the authority to let him leave without paying for his drink. The correct procedure, he said, would have been for Chris to buy the drink before taking Sip One; then, if he found it displeasing, he could return it for a refund--presumably from the same cashier who'd abused his authority by allowing Chris to avoid the purchase entirely. Because of my husband's ill-placed faith in the right of that cashier to act efficiently instead of insanely (as in the guard's scenario), releasing him from obligation to buy an inferior product, Chris had to sign a form acknowledging that he was banned for stealing from Fuller's Shop'n Kart--not for one or two years, but ninety-nine. I've waited three years to write this review, partly because I feel sick and exhausted to think about it and partly because it sounds so outrageous that I don't see how anyone will believe it. Instead, I've avoided shopping here until it recently became impossible. Now that I'm forced to return, I spend every shopping trip feeling torn between, on the one hand, loving the store and the many wonderful things it carries, and, on the other, hating myself for supporting a business that will continue exacting revenge over three unpaid sips of a foul beverage for several decades after my husband is dead. read more

Are you like me and find a recipe you really want to make but it calls for one strange ingredient you can't find at Safeway and feel like your only option is to order it online and have to wait to make your recipe some other day? Luckily for me, I won't have to wait anymore because I'm pretty sure that I will be able to find whatever I need at Fuller Market. Very cool store with old-school vibes although some of the prices are extremely high while others were right on target. I feel like it will be more of a specialty store for me than a regular grocery store stop but I'm very thankful to have found them. read more

Friendly little grocery store that you can tell it knows it's shoppers. This place was well stocked with food from all over the world. Fruit was beautiful, staff was masked, even the other customers were friendly! Bathrooms were clean and carts weren't strewn all over the parking lot. Keep up the great work folks. read more

Fuller Market is a fantastic place to pick up your groceries. They have a large selection of alternative baking supplies like Gluten-Free one-to-one, Almond flour, Rye flour, dairy-free cheese and milk, and multiple other products. This is a God-send for those, like me, that need non-traditional meal prep. More importantly, the baker at Fuller's is AMAZING! She is one of the most talented baker and cake decorator that I have seen both in-person and via professional experience. I am consistently in awe of her beautiful confections and keep a photo gallery of them on my phone. My mother and I have often discussed both the technique and masterful flavors of she creates. If you haven't had one of her cakes you are missing out completely! read more

During Covid I only felt comfortable at Fullers. They always had hand wipes outside. Constantly cleaning. Always had the cleaning supplies you need at home. And to top it off, so polite and friendly! read more

Fantastic selection of produce. Always very fresh and good prices. Great bakery as well.

They have recently improved some things such as the quality of the freezers, seafood, and the parking area. Sale prices are often outstanding for those who don't mind playing the waiting game or changing brands on the fly. Regular prices are a mixed bag - some are good and some are terrible. Tricks such as buying spices in the bulk foods area or from the Mexican sections can reduce prices considerably. The store is very convenient because it's local and it's nice to support locally owned businesses. But it takes more and more creativity to do so inexpensively when the seasoned beans at Walmart for $0.98 are priced at $2.79 at Fullers. That said I still go to Fullers multiple times a week, shop really carefully, and am glad it's blocks instead of freeway exits away. My family thinks the 'famous devil dog' donut filling tastes like sugar and Crisco but the rest of their donuts are great. I really miss when they had fresh loaves of French bread for $1 like Walmart still does every day. read more

Their donuts are the best in town. The devil dogs, the old fashioned glazed, the apple fritters and the lemon and raspberry filled ones...oh and the maple bars. Better in my opinion than Voodoo donuts in Portland, which are famous. The reason it only gets 3 stars is because the market has gone downhill in the past 20 years when the Fuller family sold it. I went into fullers several days ago and I had a few questions about some of the products and questions on where things were located. I saw an employee who's name was Tracey on the floor and I have to say she is by far the RUDEST person I have ever met. She rolled her eyes and sighed and had a crappy tone when I asked for help. I actually ended up leaving everything and went to another grocery store. Something needs to be done about this employee because I will not shop here again! read more

Over the past few years, Fuller's Market has made some positive changes around the store's appearance (organization and cleanliness). The store looks amazing! The deli section has the best food and their prices can't be beat. We like to buy their fried chicken from time to time and it tastes great while being a fraction of the cost that you would pay at a restaurant that specializes in fried chicken. They always have everything I need. When the check-out lines get crowded, all available checkers are paged to help people through quickly.
