This store is fantastic. The owner is highly customer service oriented and it shows in the sparkling, well stocked aisles and inwonderful, attentive, professional staff. I haven't seen old fashioned customer service like this in decades. You won't see self checkout lanes here. And you'll never wait in line long, more than about one customer waiting, and sometimes just one, and you'll hear "code 30" over the intercom and someone will be right up to check you out fast. This is a bargain market, so you'll find great deals on products you may have never heard of. Unfortunately, many being closeouts, you may never see again. They also have a great, reasonably priced wine & cheese selection. I've gotten really decent bottles here for under $5. The personal customer service, like employees recalling my name and what I like to buy hooked me. That's why I've made Longview Grocery Outlet my primary grocery store. read more

Where else can you get wine for 5 bucks! Stay away from the foreign wines, stick with California and you be just fine! The coolest part of this chain is that each is individually owned by a local owner. Often you can see them working in their own store. I much prefer this to Safeway and Albertson's who are now one in the same Mega-company. Plus, this is alot of fun. You never know what your going to find in here. it changes often, just watch the expiration dates. Don't forget, the staff here is great! read more

Shopping here is like going on a treasure hunt. You never know what brand, color, what flavor is available. Went in for protein powder and ice cream. They had two flavors of Ben and Jerry's Greek Yogurt and various brands of ice cream I was not familiar. Prices seem to be good however, you're stuck with what is available. I shop Grocery Outlet about once a month, sometimes more. Pay attention to expiration dates for cereal and boxed items such as crackers. This doesn't bother me, as I shop other places for these items as well. I love to find quality food at the reduced prices, but be aware that the good stuff goes quickly and my not be restocked, but that is the fun of it all. Great average size grocery outlet. I've been coming here for many years- through old owners and now the newer ones. The prices are still great :) Most of the produce and some of the bread and dairy are the same prices as other grocery stores. I never buy produce here unless it's a smoking deal and I'm going to use it quickly. These being priced higher is true for any grocery outlet. But most everything else is anywhere from a little cheaper to a lot cheaper. Recently I've seen .58 free range eggs, .28 organic creamer, $4.99 for organic 5lb rice (which they seem to keep in stock), and $5.99 for 24 Lara bars. Lara bars are a buck a piece at Fred Meyer.... They have the cheapest ground turkey I've found and they always stock it. I won't keep boring you with prices, just stop in. And if you see something you like you better grab as much as you could possibly want... I've gone back later the same day to find hundreds of one item suddenly gone. A lady today left with every single Violife vegan cheese they had in the entire store. She was holding onto it like someone was ready to snatch it from her arms. You snooze you lose! read more

It used to be a good store to shop when Cheryl and Steve had the place. The new owners have raised the prices on most everything. You might as well go to the regular grocery stores and pay the same price for name brands. If you look real hard, you might find a good bargain. read more

Great place!! They don't always have the same stuff which I find interesting! The prices are usually better than Winco or Safeway, but you have to pay attention, sometimes the prices are higher! However, overall this is a great stop for people trying to save some money!! read more

We LOVE Grocery Outlet in Longview - you can't walk into the store expecting them to have EVERYTHING, but they do have great deals on what they do have in stock. So if I need to buy groceries, I will generally go to Grocery Outlet first, then if they don't have some things I want, I pick those things up at another store. Sounds like a hassle to make an extra trip? No way - the prices make it worth it. I pay 1/2 the price for lunchmeat at Grocery Outlet - and its NOT expired. If they don't have the lunchmeat I like one week, I get just get it at another store. We stock up on great deals here. Great prices on things that I want but normally feel guilty about buying - like ice cream, chips, etc. So I get a great deal on things I need, plus a great deal on junk food that I don't need (but feel ok about buying because its so cheap!)! Freshest produce I had seen in a while. This store is small but well laid out. Even smells clean and that is a good sign.

We LOVE Grocery Outlet! We llive on a fixed income and couldn't make it without our liquidator stores and G.O. The thing to remember though is that if you find something you really like, buy a bunch of it when you see it because they may never have it there again! This is because they sell factory overruns and refused shipments meant for another store, and it may never happen with that item again. The employees in the store are very friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. We always look forward to going there (especially on senior discount day)! read more
