I realize this is more of a corporate policy issue than anything, and the workers at this store are not at fault, but this store becomes more annoying with every visit. Everything is locked up. There are no bags, not even for the state's silly fee. During my most recent visit, the multitude of available self-checkouts were shut off and everyone was being funneled into four cashier checkouts. If people are stealing too much of your stuff, that is between you and the state. It's evident to anyone with eyes that The State of Washington is not dealing effective consequences to shoplifters, but Walmart is a massive corporation. Surely lobbying would be a more productive use of resources than aggravating customers until they start avoiding you. read more

I brought in 14 VHS home videos of my kids. They were sent out to be transferred into digital form. After they came back to Walmart, they were tossed into the garbage. The men working in the video department are incompetent and oblivious. I asked them to show me proof that I had been contacted and that the tapes had been returned and needed to be picked up. They had no verification. I simply got a, "ummmm.....well....we kinda throw stuff out here." The store manager is "always out of town." The worst place to shop and even worse is to work there. They fire people who actually show up for work, never late, and don't call in. A company who rewards you with termination. No warning just 2 hours before your shift is over they fire you. I believe they were nervous having an employee who wanted to work. Will never set foot in those company doors again. read more

This is my 2nd time using Walmart grocery pick up at this location and it's always AWFUL. We checked into spot 5 at 5:30 and no one brought out our groceries until 6:07. We called multiple times for them to say "yeah we will bring it right out" and continue to wait for another 15 minutes. Why does it take 40 minutes to bring out some groceries we already paid for and ordered earlier in the day. read more

This store is an absolute joke. Just had the worst experience with customer service!!! I had purchased printer ink a few months back and realized it was the incorrect one, I attempted to exchange it without a receipt but was told that the transaction could be pulled up by scanning the debit card I had used... when attempting to do so I was told the system was down and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a manager and eventually he had me try my card again... it worked and they pulled up the transaction, I was then told that it had been over 90 days!???? 15 days over 90 days!!! They refused to exchange my item and were very rude and unhelpful during the process. My advise, stick to Amazon. read more

Stopped here on the way back to California for some travel essentials. The manager went out of the store and racially profiled my husband. He said he had numerous complaints of him soliciting. With social distancing in place my man stayed in the car while I ran in. I was in the store for literally 15 minutes. He was sitting in a handicap parking space with the sign up and was told there were numerous complaints of soliciting. After my husband politely told him he was waiting on his wife the manager proceeded to tell him there no selling drugs in the parking lot! Wow! Walmart is getting a very nasty complaint! Do not go to this Walmart if you identify with any race of color, they have made it clear you are not welcome. Especially in the parking lot. The kicker is they sure took my money with a smile inside of the store! If I had been aware before I purchased our supplies I would have left their goods right where they keep them! Second time I have bought something there only to discover it was expired. I should have checked the shelf date yes, but a bottle of Korean barbecue sauce that has been expired for over a month!? I bought it 2 days ago, went to put it in my recipe tonight and noticed a weird thick film on top where the sauce wouldn't pour out. Checked the label and sure enough, it's expired. This store is very nice and have great employees. In 1950, Sam Walton purchased a store from Luther E. Harrison in Bentonville, Arkansas, and opened Walton's 5 & 10.[1] Thus, the Ozark Mountain town of 2,900 residents would become the headquarters for the world's largest retailer. Against my better judgement I returned to this cesspool because I needed a money order for a business that had not yet set up credit card payments. The cow at the customer service counter was so discourteous and condescending, we turned around and left without completing our transaction. It's funny because our kids love this store. The staff is always kind and the folks at the deli counter rock.

DONT EXPECT ANY COUTH AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Inconsiderate older ladies in customer service. All over 50 w gray hair and think they own the store and can treat you like you are a problem. I suggest a corporate secret shopper go to each of these atrocities and also feel my disgust in their lazy approach to selling and customer service. They need to be stocking shelves rather than in a position of customer service. I imagine this stores profits would rise without these foul women manning the customer service counter. I asked if I could purchase a $269 futon now and pick it up in 3 hrs when I had the use of our truck. Theresa in furnishings was wonderful she said yes not a problem and got help to get it off the shelf for me as its about a 2x3 ft box. I waited for 15 mins for futon to be loaded off a shelf. Russ finally came after 15 mins of calling him but another associate loaded it on a L truck and we walked to customer service. Once at Customer service area I explained Id like to purchase this now and pick up at 3 and they immediately became irritated and said who told you that? Where do they expect us to hold this? Why cant you come sooner? We cant do that thats ridiculous. I said I was told by Theresa, and the gentleman associate who brought up the futon conferred yes she was indeed told that, that I could purchase now and pick up in 3 hrs. Again they were snarky and started trash talking their fellow employees in rude voices throwing up their arms and being animated and rude, right in front of small children, as if Id asked for one of their teeth to be pulled. I politely said you know forget it I really dont want to sit here and listen to you guys bicker and act like this like Im a problem rather than a customer wanting to buy a $269 futon and simply stating no youll need to talk to a manager. Just ring up my other items so I can leave this conversation please. ONLY at that point did one of them agree to let me purchase it. I declined and reported the horrible service to the store manager Bert. Who said well they didnt know where to put it.. so they had to figure it out. Completely not getting what I had just tried to convey with the horrible talk, trashing of other employees and involving me all within ear shot of children. I explained that finding a place for it wasnt the issue ..the issue was the horrible attitudes for 2-3 minutes trash talking other departments and never letting me make the purchase while I stood here cash in hand while children listened on. In the end I left with my $60 purchase and still have to go back to pick up a $600 TV that was ordered online for my mother! KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS LOW~! read more

worst customer service ever. stood in line with 3 children for a very long time and even asked if we (meaning the entire line of customerd) could get another check stand open since they only had the 1 check stand open. everything else was self check out and that was only accepting card. the 9 employees that were standing around doing absolutely nothing all seemed stunned that I would ask that, and then dismissed me. noone would give me the managers name. nothing about this trip went well and it hasn't changed. if anything this Walmart continues to go downhill with their customer service. there is a down right lack of caring about the customer at all. if this is how Walmart wants to treat customers I don't understand why they still have any!!! Ok I have shopped a bunch of walmart stores and normally the employees are exhausted, overworked and underpaid and the usual customer service shows it. Today at this store I was floored when employees kind, smiling, friendly and very helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised and will go back to this store again even though there is another walmart store nearer to me where the employees do not seem to be so cheerful and helpful.
