Music is neither too loud nor too crazy ( lounge music) & you get a decent chair to sit & keep your honor (by not having to crowd others in a cramped space at the bar & stretch half way to the other side of the bar to get the bar tender's attention!) The crowd is pretty mixed, there were mature & middle aged people, very young(20+) groups & some couples. If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink & chat (& be able to hear each other!) this is really nice place.

After a long wait, we were served lousy but expensive cocktails. I asked the bartender where the bathrooms were, and he directed me downstairs. However, he neglected to tell me I needed a code. Thus, I was compelled to climb the stairs, return to the bar, and ask for the bathroom code. Pretty hard to find if your just walking the streets in Gamla Stan but so worth it if you find it. Excellent drinks and while we were there, they had a beer special that was up my alley- so to speak. We also enjoyed some smoked salmon for an appetizer that was awesome as well. Some colorful lights and a large umbrella with some space heaters help to take the chill out of the late summer nights. And the bartenders were spot on with a drink or beer when needed. Just what we needed after some full days of walking through the historic town that is so full of great things to see. It's not often I want to try something a second time, but this space deserves a return trip.

We had scrambled eggs with truffle and smoked salmon, which was incredible. Each small dish was very tasty and different. I also got a cocktail which was refreshing and really well made. For dessert there was a strawberry sambuca shake which was out of this world. I would definitely want to come back for dinner, but for a special occasion. The prices were a bit high (although I do think it's worth the price). Will definitely be back for drinks, though.

It's located in a hotel and used a different lift to get to the correct floor. We came in and rather loud disco music was playing. The bar was set up as a lounge which was great as they had a few different areas with booths, couches and chairs, etc. for us to relax in. The bartenders were both pretty easy to talk to and accommodating. Not sure if this is standard, but there was a police officer at the bar as well? They were good about walking around and telling everyone when last call was. They closed at 1:00 AM I think, which in that area of Sweden is pretty late. Most other places closed at 11:00 or 12:00. The view was pretty nice as it was on a higher floor, but the decor was pretty outdated. Like, early or mid 80's? Maybe even earlier than that? I don't know if the hotel is responsible for that or the business, but either way, it wouldn't hurt to update everything, or at least make the place completely retro. I'd probably pass on going here the next time I'm in Sweden.

There was so much flavor in the dough and filling and they used quality ingredients. We also ordered their meatballs and they are legit. I'm pretty well versed in real Swedbank meatballs and they were top notch. They only had one single server on this day but he hustled and was very helpful.

I enjoyed the infused water available at the front desk. The staff seemed more focused on making sure you were out of the gym area by its closing time than on refilling water in the gym. The cleaning man hung out in the women's room cleaning or whatever, some 20-25 minutes before closing on one evening, which kept my wife from being able to use the women-only sauna. The next night, the hotel had the nerve to send a 'security guard' or some authoritative figure to ensure we were out by closing. For clarity, we weren't aware of the closing hours for the gym the first night, and the cleaner informed us that the gym was closed; we'd just asked the front desk to turn on the sauna, and they'd said nothing about closing when acknowledging that we wanted to turn it on. Of the four nights we stayed, half of those had no water in the gym. There's no phone or way to contact the front desk for more, so more consistency in checking would be nice, at least as much care to kick out patrons trying to get in a post-exploration workout. Also, one day we asked for new towels; they left a stack on the counter, and left all of the dirty towels. They took that quite literally, but the implied task was to pick up the old towels left on the floor. Lastly, just a preference, but I like the double beds better than singles placed next to each other.

Called the reception to ask for support on wifi, only response I got was "not my problem" and the receptionist hung up on me. I'm baffled. Improvements needed; 1) For the receptionist; don't work in a hotel if you don't like the service industry. 2) For the hotel; Don't hire employees that doesn't belong in the service industry.
