The fertilizer I wanted was cheaper here than on Amazon. I am very happy with my purchase and will be back again.

Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel or Rockwool . A variety of techniques exist. Plant physiology researchers discovered in the 1800s that plants absorb essential mineral nutrients as inorganic ions in water . In natural conditions, soil acts as a mineral nutrient reservoir but the soil itself is not essential to plant growth. When the mineral nutrients in the soil dissolve in water, plant roots are able to absorb them. When the required mineral nutrients are introduced into a plant's water supply artificially, soil is no longer required for the plant to thrive. Almost any terrestrial plant will grow with hydroponics, but some will do better than others. It is also very easy to do; the activity is often undertaken by very young children with such plants as watercress. Irbin, Eddy and Kevin are absolutely great. They have excellent customer service, friendly and have great knowledge of the materials they offer. Unlike other sand and gravel yards I have been to I have never had to wait for them to load or to get on the scale here at APC. They move the customer in and out fast with exceptionally great service. I am also very happy with their pricing for the materials I need. I will always do business with you from here going forward. Again, thank you Irbin, Eddy & Kevin for the great customer service. APC Landscape is very fortunate to have you as good help is hard to find these days. Clint A.

I wound up with the perfect amount with just a little left over and was able to cover everything to the correct depth. APC isn't the largest landscape supplier but they have excellent customer service, great prices and plenty of selections to choose from. My delivery was right on time and exactly where I'd asked them to leave the material. I'm super happy with the way my first project turned out. Thank you APC!
