Front Range is officially my FAVORITE garden center in Colorado! I've been to a few and can spend a solid two hours here, specifically shopping for houseplants, which are 30% off throughout the month of January. Going to visit as many times as I can. They have such a wide variety of plants, all of which look so healthy and well cared for. Love chatting with the staff, who are all so helpful. This the best garden spot near broomfield area. It's very big with a huge variety of plants. Trees are much more limited but the plant variety both indoor and outdoor is very good. There are always carts available and it's easy to get around even when busy. Prices are about average, pots are very expensive but they have a good selection if you wanted to splurge. I learned they have a reward program recently which is awesome. read more

As someone new to the area, I was looking for a good garden center and was recommended to check this place out. I couldn't be happier! I was impressed by their incredible selection of plants and the prices were so reasonable. What made it even better was the fun touch of a festive dinosaur statue nestled in the larger plant display. We were told to expect more in the future. (The grandson loved it). It added such a whimsical charm to the whole experience! The staff was absolutely wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. They made me feel right at home and even gave me great tips for dealing with pests. The store dogs were also so fun. I love going to places that have animals to visit with. Overall, this garden center is a fantastic find. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

This is my favorite nursery in the metro area. Great variety and reasonable pricing. I've always had great experiences with the staff and they will even repot items for you. Yesterday I bought a giant monstera and they repotted it for me, gave it a spray for shine, wrapped it up, and brought it to my car for me. I will happily drive 30+ minutes to get here for all my plant needs. read more

My home away from home lol. Staff are always super nice, the environment is soothing and happy, and the plants I've purchased are always really well cared for and high-quality. They have a lot of houseplant varieties that are non-toxic for my cats, and honestly I just love going here. read more

We love going to garden centers that are local, and usually go to O'Tooles nearby. We took a chance and diverted as the traffic at O'Tooles was so heavy, and I'm actually really glad we did. They were not excessively busy on a Saturday morning and had good variety and healthy plants with good prices. They had plenty of house plants and other fun things to look at, too. Happy to support local and the people we interacted with here were also very kind. read more

This is a cute little spot, however, the staff is definitely not the friendliest. They're very standoffish and uninterested in helping patrons. To be honest, they have a very limited amount of both common a houseplants and garden plants. Denver is growing and expanding in the horticulture scene and with the location being where it's at and the limited supply these folks have, it's not really worth the drive just to be tortured by staff that don't like their job. On the plus side, their prices are decently priced on some of the merchandise. Also, their stock of common houseplants ( even with the limited amount) are viable and healthy. If you haven't been here before, I'd pass if I were you and keep your eye on smaller plants shops around Denver that are highly competitive with the variety of houseplants ( even with rare species). It's not worth even the visit. Just my opinion. read more

Might be more stars if you have a wholesale license?? I might just be spoiled by the variety of excellent nursery's in the Bay Area, CA... but the quality and diversity of the plantings available to the casual shopper is extremely limited. I was hoping to put together a nice succulent arrangement for a housewarming gift, but it wasn't possible here. There was 1 weird giraffe planter (?) filled with succulents, and a few other individuals looking a little stressed out. The succulents in the wholesale area looked much better, but aren't accessible to us rif-raf. I ended up leaving empty handed and buying an arrangement from King Sooper of all places! I was very impressed by the selection of fairy garden miniatures though, while that isn't what I was shopping for. read more

Great selection of plants, flowers, veges/fruit/herbs; outdoor and indoor. Good selection of treatment products, soil, & accessories. Knowledgeable and friendly staff even for the novice with an abundance of questions. However, one star taken off for overpricing and quality. I've bought quite a few plants recently and they were infested with spider mites. No return or exchange policy. Kind of a bummer when the price is so high. I'll use this place as a teaching tool and for specialty items. read more

Don't expect an ounce of customer service. Bought 5 hanging baskets earlier this summer. Because we needed 5 we ended up buying one that didn't look as healthy after being reassured it would come back with some care. Fast forward and I have two that are completely dead which got the same water, food, and sun as the others. When I called about a potential replacement I was first told it was my watering I assured him it wasn't. When I pushed further he said bring them in with the receipt. Unless you are a psycho you don't keep receipts like that 1.5 months later. He then said basically it was too bad he wouldn't do anything. I mentioned that I have no motivation to try to screw them but he was more concerned about me taking advantage of him than he was about making things right. Will never spend another dollar here, I'd caution you to do the same. read more

Very friendly and accommodating staff and owners. They always ask if there's something you need help finding or can get for you. No, their selection isn't as broad as the bigger nurseries but you can rest assured you'll leave here with something beautiful and well cared for. Handy red wagons to haul your plants and materials around in. Overall, a good variety of plants for Colorado. I have been to other nurseries and purchased plants that died because they weren't meant for this climate. Other places just want to make a buck! read more

So I was looking for a local nursery to buy some plants for my patio this spring and got some amazing annuals in a beautiful planter combo at a really great price - even better than Lowe's - let alone considering the quality of the plant was way better with red, pink and purple flowers. But the real benefit was the staff. They helped me when buying to educate me when it was safe to buy them and even let them grow under their care in the safety of the nursery. They were amazing and flowered all summer and fall. Recently, I was going to move them inside for the winter and noticed alot of tiny white flying bugs. So I went to buy some Neem oil to see if I could save the flowering plants. The staff were very friendly and educated me again on the difficulty of getting rid of whiteflies and the fact they may even contaminate the rest of my indoor plants. I left with such appreciation to the level of customer service provided. If at all possible, check out this place and buy from this local small business for any of your nursery, plant and garden needs. read more

Love this place. YES I drive all the way from highlands Ranch to Broomfield to buy their little six packs, which are hard to find in Colorado. Their prices are more then fair as are their prices for garden decor. They could have a better selection in garden decor, but it's well stocked and they do have a lot of decor. read more

This place is amazing. They have a wide variety of plant species and all are healthy. While visiting I was debating between two different types of plants and the staff member was so knowledgeable, she recommended the one she knew would do best in the environment we live in. I came to this nursery with a few questions with intentions to purchase several items; it is run by an old couple, the wife was courteous to me and answered as many questions as she could but the husband who seemed to have much more horticultural knowledge was extremely rude and disrespectful . In fact, when I was about ready to check out I asked one final question about an item I was purchasing and the older man said to me "I'm going to have to cut you off we have inventory we need to finish. So what do you want to buy? we need 2 get back to our work." I was the only customer there, I was a paying customer and they showed me zero respect or dignity. I would not recommend this nursery to anyone who cares about customer service and common courtesy. I mean its a nursery, of course people are going to have questions, I spent less than 5 or 10 minutes asking about different products and which ones they would recommend before I was cut short in a discracefully impolite and brazenly disrespectful manner. read more

I just had an experience at Front Range Gardens that made it so I will never return. I had been there before and purchased Mother's Day flowers, which was a good experience and this is why I decided to stop by again. I dropped by today to a look at houseplants. Lights were on, cars in the lot, door was unlocked, no sign on the door that indicated they were closed or even typical hours. I walked in and a woman said in a very rude way, "Can I help you". This took me completely off guard as I had just walked in. I said "I am just hear to look at plants". Silence, obviously she was not pleased I was there. I had to be the one to say, "The door was unlocked. Are you not open?" She then told me they were not and they had had a sign on the door but it got wet. Ok, no way I could have known you once had a sign that got wet that told me what was going on. I just said thanks and turned around and left. I will never be back. I have good money I will spend elsewhere. Those Mother's Day dollars will go to another small shop this upcoming May. A word of advice on customer service: when a customer has no way of knowing what is going on and has good intentions of shopping at your store during otherwise reasonable hours for a store, do not treat them rudely for attempting to shop with you. I did see the sign on the way out - could read it from the inside but not from the outside, and it said they were closed for remodeling. Good luck to you guys, no reason to remodel I'm sure your poor customer service skills will close your doors soon! read more
